#GJWculture #Antiques #Mysteriousdiscoveries #Discovery #Artifacts
Part Five explores ritual deposits found in the River Thames including a collection of Neolithic mace-heads, a Bronze Age sword and helmet, and a Celtic shield decorated in La Tène style; and at Flag Fen. It continues with a look at grave goods covering a chariot burial at Wetwang in East Yorkshire, and the grave of the ‘Amesbury Archer’ near Stonehenge, containing five Bell-Beaker pots and the earliest known gold found in Britain.
