first day of classes @ yale 🌝🧺🫒 | productive study vlog, hanging w/ friends, spring semester

Good morning friends! It's Tuesday and it is officially the first day of classes, aka FDONC. The reason why it's not Monday instead of Tuesday is because we had a shopping period for the entirety of last week where you can kind of just like shop and see what classes you want to do without actually committing to the classes and you can add or drop classes from your schedule and that is honestly the best part of Yale. That week is over and now it's officially the actual first day of your real real classes and I'm getting ready to go to my first class right now. It's a class that I was shopping called Writing Anthropology Digital Fan Communities and it's a class about like fandoms, how social media has affected fan culture and how we support artists and we're going to talk about K-pop and Twilight and Harry Potter and all these other fandoms that I was actually a part of so I'm really excited and we're going to like read fanfiction which is so fun and I'm so excited. I really have to get started with my day because I woke up pretty late, I had a hard night last night, an insane night. Honestly, it was not my best work and I just like need to get back on my grind honestly and it's going to start with this first day of class vlog. Guys, Layla got a scarf and she wants to show the vlog the scarf. Okay, this is the only one that Urban Outfitters has. Oh my, bro, my friends have the same scarf. Okay, it was on sale and it's the only one that Urban Outfitters had. I like it. It's not my vibe but it's cute. Wait, try it on. It's like fully- Wait, it actually is really a cute scarf though. Hey guys, I know I said to Sarah that I would wear her top but look at this top. Look at it polka dot central and I love the like neck area. I think it's so fun and fancy. I got it from this Instagram shop called Blondita and I think I'm going to wear it. Also, I put in my hair towel. And it comes, guys, with this little matching bubble skirt that's also in the same polka dot pattern and it's like a little set. It's just way too cold for me to be wearing this ensemble outside. Um, so I think I'm going to do like jeans underneath it and see if that looks crazier. Yeah, this is not going to work. Oh my god. Okay, this is really cunty but I feel like I'm just getting further and further from the plot of what I'm supposed to wear on the first day of class. Okay guys, I decided to go with just a good old t-shirt because nothing can beat a t-shirt. And I'm going to add a belt. Let's finish this gurum ASMR. I have two classes, one at 11.35 and one at 1pm, or no, 1.30. I think I'm like only taking fun classes this semester, low key. And I didn't even plan it that way, it just ended up happening. Which is really nice. I don't really believe in brushes anymore. I just use my fingers for literally everything, it's crazy. Do we like it guys? Do I look sly? Let's do, um, I'm going to put on some accessories and then we're going to go. Because low key, we're running late. Yeah, I think today's class is going to be really fun though. You wouldn't expect it to be sunny on really cold days, but it actually is. Yeah, I'm going to run to Commons really quickly because I have a 30 minute break. I'm going to grab a little lunchy to go. It was, I had to eat in 10 minutes because I'm going to be late for my next class. And also, it was so spicy, I almost died. I'm going to put on a sweater and then go meet one of my friends and my VQ baby Nico to do some work in the Acorn, which is the Silliman student cafe. I didn't get to show you guys a lot of like the actual class stuff. I feel like because I have a lot of seminars, which means that I can't really film in the class because it's like 10 people and one professor. And I don't want to like disrespectfully pull out my camera. But I do feel sorry that I can't show you guys like the full picture of what I'm doing in a day. That being said, I did have a lot of fun in my classes and I'm really excited about them. So hopefully you guys can continue to watch me do my stuff this semester. And yeah. I need protection. Um, the plan right now is I'm going to go to the buttery, get a little food, get a little snacky. And then get right to work because I have readings to do and they're all due tomorrow morning.
