The King's Speech of Thanks

A unique letter from King George VI to his speech therapist, Lionel Logue, sells at auction for £76,250 against a bank of phone bidders. The letter, sent to Logue just five days after the Coronation in 1937, was sold with a silver-gilt cigarette case that the king sent as a thank you for Logue's assistance in getting him through a challenging day.
