Answering Your TMI Questions About Marriage!

Do we want this fully on the internet? We were in Austin, Texas. Ask and you shall receive. We're back again with part two of TMI questions about marriage. You guys really liked the last one, so I have a bunch more juicy TMI questions. Are we ready? As ready as I can be, to be honest. But not really. It's going to be a wild ride. Let's just start out with the question that I probably saw every three or four questions. It was the same thing. How many times a week do you guys do it? You freaking sickos. Sometimes people said, how many times a day? I'm like, we're busy. Busy doing it. I think there's certain things that we should keep private. To be fully serious, I think we'll not answer that one. I personally like keeping things more on the private end, but still being able to share some bits, you know what I mean? After a child, it's less on a whim as you would like, if that makes sense. We need to plan out when we can do things, because we have availability this day, these times. It's better than schedule. If you have a kid, you know exactly what we're talking about. Where it's just hard to find time. Did Gabe ever taste your breast milk? Straight from the tap. I think we have a video that we can share. Do we? Yeah, yeah, I think we do. 22nd of September. Wow. Oh my gosh, just liquid gold right there. I don't know, it kind of just tastes like... Milk? Milk, really. Wow, down the hatch. I was sick, and I was like, I think I need a little boost, and... Breast milk is so full of vitamins, it's so good. It's quite nutritious and delicious. Is it? It tasted a little weird. It was a little funny. You know, it's not like pure cow's milk or anything like that. My question is, should I try it? Hmm. Like, what's everyone's thoughts on like trying your own milk? Is it like tasting your own pee? Like it's something that comes out of you. Well, urine is sterile, apparently. So like you can survive for a period of time by drinking your own pee. But then at a certain time, it doesn't work anymore. So I'm sure that you can get nutrients from your breast milk. Does that logic make sense? Would you trade Gabe for Harry Styles? That's a you question, doll. I would. What the frick? Imagine if I was like, yeah, actually. How long did it take you to get pregnant? Well, given that we only had sex once and then we got pregnant from it. Pretty quick. I was surprised that you started answering that so quick because I'm like, you probably don't even know the timeline. Well, the timeline was you going off birth control and feeling like convicted about that. And and then I don't know. Yeah. Let's see what you don't know. The time. OK, you'd say the timeline then. November, I went off birth control. Yes. November 2020. We were using methods until around July. What were you using? Methods. You can tell I'm getting awkward. And then we got pregnant in October. That's all I'm going to say. We stopped methods in July and then October was the pregnancy. As his spouse, how did you help Gabe get through his depression? I guess I have three different points to this. Number one is that I never dealt with depression or anything myself. And so I don't fully understand what it's like to go through it. So I talked to my own therapist about it, just trying to understand more of what you were going through. My third point is that I think a lot of what you went through, you just needed a listening ear. Like maybe when someone you love is going through something, you like want to help, you almost want to fix the issue. But I think sometimes you just needed me to be there next to you listening. Just a shoulder to cry on. Yeah, I just think that's important sometimes is to just listen and not try to like fix everything. Is it okay if your long distance boyfriend hooks up with another girl while letting me know he's going to? Whoa, there's so many things. Is it okay if your long distance boyfriend cheats on you basically? A few things. One, this question's outside the scope of the video, but we're still going to answer it because it seems important. Two, I think what they're asking when they say okay, is more so is it morally okay? Because if it's okay with you guys, you control your relationship, but is it morally okay based off of the morals that Jess and I abide by? And as Christians, is that something that we would be okay with and do? No. But even aside from that, I'd be so uncomfortable if I was her. Like no. Do you have says while you're on your period? When I'm on my period, yes. I personally usually am really in pain, really uncomfortable. That's not usually top of mind for me. Your periods are pretty rough. Yeah. It's a no from me, but I know it would be a yes from me. Another very highly requested. The Snapchat story, I can't sleep, must know I want to laugh. We have to flash back to the last video. How was your first night together as a married couple? All I remember is the next morning, Gabe gets on his Snapchat. It was one of the all-time greatest Snapchats that I ever sent. Just know he did a Snapchat that was very embarrassing. All right, picture this. It's the morning after our wedding. We're about to go to the hot tub? The hot tub. And at this point, I came up with an idea. So I pull out my phone, and this was at the point where Snapchat had integrated music, so you can play music while recording a Snapchat, and it records both. And I was just jumping around the room, singing to this song. Got Jess in the background, I put my arm over her shoulder, kissed her on the cheek, whatever. And the song that I was dancing around to was, I'm not going to sing the whole thing, but you can, if you know, you know. OK, all right, that's it. That's all you get. Does the love or spark actually die down after the years, like people say? I would say the novelty of a new relationship dies down. So like that first initial infatuation phase. I would say the love grows. The love gets deeper, for sure. I would say the love follows the commitment level. Your commitment level grows over time, and then your love is right there following that same trajectory, I think. So over time, I would say your love grows if you are approaching your relationship for a long-term commitment, till death do us part vibes. Yeah, you always get so wise. The spark turns into something else. Yeah. That's still sparky. How did you shave down there with a bump? It's a you problem, doll. I'm not going to say that I always did. It got to a point where I could not see down. All I could see was belly. And sometimes I would do it blind. No idea how it turned out. During that, those nine months, then nothing fancy was happening. Good answer. Do you remember your daughter's conception? I remember the trip. Have we said this before? It's a huge flex. Do we want this fully on the Internet? Makai is going to find it one day. Maybe her friends will be like, I saw this really old video of your parents. We were in Austin, Texas. We were at the Formula One race in 2021 in Austin, Texas. We're just putting it all out there. Did you talk about your first time with someone before the wedding? I remember my mom. Oh, that's weird. We didn't, but she like offered. Oh, I remember you saying that. To like chat about anything if I wanted. But then I think it was the night before the wedding, I had all of the bridesmaids at the house with me. And my sister-in-law, Maddie, I remember, like gave me a gift and it was kind of like a care package of like things to care for. And I just thought that was so nice and it wasn't awkward. So that is basically the only thing that happened to me. Did you like grow up? I don't think so. Why did I say grow up? Are you OK? How are you both with PDA? Gabe's all for it. I'm fine with like respectful PDA. That's like holding hands, hugging. I'm not out here trying to like make out at church or something like that. You know what I mean? Like, that's weird. But you are definitely more into PDA than me. I think I'm so cautious, not cautious. You care so much about like other people that even other people's feelings of awkwardness causes you to not want to like kiss in public. Yeah, totally. That is exactly what it is. Any clogged ducts that have needed husband assistance? No, no. Unfortunately, there was clogged ducts. Oh, no, there was just engorgement. No, it was just like pretty bad engorgement. Very bad engorgement. Yeah, but you remember it was like, oh, yeah, I touched it and I was like freaking out. Oh, my gosh. Just remembering it just like this gives me the heebie jeebies. It gives you the ick, which is funny because it's such a personal part of my body. Yeah, but you can tell that thing is on struggle. Did you watch Micaiah come out? No, I didn't personally because I'm a wimp and I didn't really want to just like be watching the innards, blood and gore fest. Yeah. Also, I feel like you needed me to be talking to you up by your head and in your ear to be like whispering to you and giving me affirmations. What I saw was her being picked up between your your legs. I still remember that. It was freaky because she didn't start crying for like, what, 30 seconds or whatever it was. And she was a bitch. She was just limp. That was scary. But she was totally fine. Yeah, she was like breathing and stuff. So it was good. But childbirth, dude. Have you ever had someone hit on the other? I feel like it's happened where guys hit on you when you're not there, when I'm not there and they don't see a ring or something. What about you? Um, surely. But I feel like Gabe is so friendly and chatty that like you wouldn't even know. You'd just be like, oh, yeah, we were just having a good chat. Yeah, I'm so bad at reading stuff because I'd be like, oh, she's just she's saying, hey, I don't think I told you this because in the moment it was really weird. It was when we were visiting back to L.A. after we had moved, we were outside of Toast, the restaurant. I think you were inside because you had gone to the restroom or something. And I was walking inside to meet you there. And there was this like lady, she like looked at me as I was walking by. And then I like looked over. I forget exactly what she did, but she was like looking at me a certain way and was like like that, like, come here or something like that. And I just turned away from her and just kept walking and went inside. That's good. I feel like I would be too polite and I would go up to them. No, I understood like what her M.O. was. And I was like, I'm not even talking to her. I appreciate that. You're welcome. Learn something new every day. What was your last fight about? We had a little bigger recently. When? Two weeks ago. It wasn't a fight. We didn't fight about it, but we were just like, and then got over it the next day. You're really being rude. Oh, no. It's because you started getting your period for the first time again. That was it. Yeah. No, you were being rude though. We had to go work, so we were like separate anyway. A couple hours later, I get my period. Then I FaceTime you and I go, by the way. Yeah, I just got my period. And you and I both just go. What did I do? Oh yeah. In my head, I'm like, that makes sense. But you were a bit rude. I did apologize. That's another little free advice there. Apologize. Don't be afraid to apologize. Is it awkward to buy content? No. Yes, it has been before. I think we have gone to get it and we're like, we need to get other stuff. We're not going to the register just with this. But like, also, I don't really care. You know what I mean? Also, now there's self-checkout and Amazon. I'm fine buying it. I feel like you get weird. If you're with me, you get weird. You're like, we have to buy other things. You would go into Target right now, pick it up and go to a register. Yeah. Honestly, it's kind of like an old lady would be like, hey, how you doing? Is this all? In multiple ways, it's like a flex.
