Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey.
Come on.
Hey!
I'd say with those tiny legs,
you already got your 10,000 steps in for the day.
Welcome back, folks.
We're working some more cattle today.
We're planning on doing two groups of pastures.
Two pastures, two groups of cattle,
is what I'm trying to say.
They're on the same section as the home farm,
so we're gonna run them, both groups home,
so we can work them in the stationary corral.
Works well, so that's how we're gonna do it.
So let's go wrangle up some cattles.
So this pasture's located right next to the feedlots.
We're gonna chase them up and put them in a side pen,
and then we gotta get the next pasture up through this pen,
and we'll work them and send them back out.
So once again, we're doing first round of shots
for these calves.
We'll give them a booster at weaning.
So these calves are getting a five-way and a seven-way.
That five-way is more for respiratory-type diseases.
The seven-way is clostridium,
blackleg, stuff like that.
And then, of course, we're gonna pour them,
get rid of those flies.
They'll have a brisk walk for about a mile.
Always do this on the coolest days, though.
It's gonna be cloudy all day.
Come on.
So they're gonna hop in what we call the home pasture,
run through the north feedlot, the middle feedlot,
and up into the corral.
As long as they stay out of the corn,
don't crash through that gate.
Oh.
Yep.
First group of calves are worked,
and then the cows, they just load them up
and run down there, just give them some pour,
get those flies off of them.
Yep, yep, we'll push this group back out to their pasture
and then work the next one, send them out,
get all the feedlot cattle back in their places.
It's not very often this time of the year
we got these nice green giblets coming.
We got great feed for a couple months yet.
Yeah, yeah.
Hey.
Yep.
Hey, hey, hey.
Hey.
Go, go, go.
You rarely see these things fall out
and get to reuse them.
Time for a whole bunch of cow, and we are out of here.
Faster we go.
Got that done just in time.
Getting a bit of a spritzer here.
Dad did knock some grass and alfalfa mix
down a couple days ago.
We're planning on raking and baling that tomorrow.
I guess we'll see how much rain we get.
It looks like it's really coming down south of here.
Well, you know, Dad traded tractors,
and so we got it set in the shop.
I cleaned the floor, and my good friend Spencer
is coming out, he's gonna ceramic coat this.
Be nice having it protected.
We're gonna own this tractor for many years,
probably another 10 years, you know?
Get it nice and shiny and ready to bear
our harsh conditions we got out here in South Dakota.
Well, they got the bin all the way up,
all the rings, everything bolted together.
Next step is to get the floor in
with the auger and the sweep.
I was told they may start today, actually.
Then after that, call our electrician.
Of course, one reason I went with a Brock bin
was because that's what Dad had right here,
but we also know they have some of the thickest metal,
one of the strongest roofs.
Another big reason we'd go with Brock
is our local dealer just 25 minutes away, Palace Builders.
They service these things if we have issues,
which we haven't needed anything on this previous bin,
but they're right there.
So for us, it's kind of a no-brainer working with Brock.
Good quality product, great dealer.
A lot of support if we need any help.
We got about 15, and I think with the clouds today
and that much moisture,
we're not gonna be raking and baling tomorrow.
I swear you drive a different vehicle here every time.
Oh, you want me to video you too?
Yeah.
We've had this one for, coming up on a year.
I started paying for fuel, so I got a diesel,
so now all the farmers just pay for the diesel.
Okay. Yeah.
Is that a hint towards me or something?
Depends how good we want to tip.
We only have red.
I'm guessing this is just one of your customer's vehicles
that they had your ceramic coat and you just-
Bogging around in it.
You just like to drive around in the customer's vehicles.
Well, if that was true,
I would have done the 24 Yukon Denali I did today.
Ooh. That was a nice one.
Fancy.
It's a nice tractor.
Thank you. My daddy bought it.
Daddy's money.
Yep.
While the folks at Mad Garage are working on that tractor,
pile up a little bit of manure around a bale feeder,
you know, stuff from this winter, way back when,
you know, I've been so busy and had some time of the year
where it was so wet, we just couldn't get to it.
Pretty wet in there, but you know,
if I get some of this top layer off into a pile,
sun can get to it, it'll dry up.
Very decent pile.
We'll pick that up this fall
when cows are grazing corn stalks out here.
Good gracious.
Can you see me in there?
Oh yeah, there I am.
So Spencer, I see you got a camera here.
Now you recently started your own channel, right?
Oh, maybe about a year ago or so.
Okay.
Got my gears turning
and I think this YouTube thing could be something.
Some of those videos, you know,
got tens of thousands of views and then some got 200.
Yeah. It's hit and miss on a lot of things on YouTube.
Especially on the infant stages.
And so I assume you'd go to a lot of
even really big farmers places
and take some video of cleaning and ceramic coating
some probably big, beautiful tractors.
Yeah, a little bit of odds and ends.
I mean, between coating tractors and vehicles,
I actually got a Corvette one
that should be up later this week and then tinting stuff.
I mean, just a little bit of everything.
If someone wanted to find your channel,
is it also Mad Garage, like your businesses?
Yep.
So it should be the search of Mad Garage.
It's just that one there with the little icon.
Uh huh.
So 320 subscribers.
Yeah.
I guess technically the name is Mad Garage 3816.
I don't know why that is.
Okay.
Maybe somebody who's got a bigger following
with Mad Garage, but.
There's 3000 something Mad Garages out there, I guess.
Probably.
Kind of sitting here thinking
we weren't going to see much of a difference
because it's a newer, newer tractor.
Yeah. It's actually 2023.
You walk in here and you can just see the shine already.
It's just so much better.
You can probably add some fancy terms to it.
It's more so just refining the surface
and that's the shine and stuff like that.
And so now it's basically reset to OEM standards.
So if I splash some water on it, is it going to bead off?
Oh yeah.
Should we do it?
You want to?
Yeah.
You never get sick of that.
No, never.
So if anyone is interested in using your service,
knowing you travel, how do they get ahold of you?
Yeah. So there'll just be a link down below and stuff.
I'll send it over to you and everything.
Okay.
Just fill it out.
So they'll click on a link and go to a form?
Yeah. You have a form.
They'll fill out the form
and then basically it gets sent out to me
and I'll be in contact.
And with kind of everything that's going on right now,
we're going to go ahead and do 10% off.
Just mentioned that you saw basically me and Sonny's video
and we'll come out to you and the price I give you,
it'll be 10% off of that.
And yeah.
Hopefully your tractor is looking pretty good
before harvest.
Sounds good.
Well, thanks for coming out.
It looks great.
Yeah.
We'll see you again.
I'm sure.
Yeah. In a different vehicle.
Yep. Always appreciate my buddy Spencer coming out,
ceramic coating a tractor.
They really look good.
Tomorrow I think we're going out West.
You know, my pasture of 35 pairs is over there.
Dad's got a pasture of 20 across the road.
So tune in next time.
Thanks for watching today, everybody.
Have a good one.
Are you juiced up?
Ready to roar?
Meow.
