TCU Commit Jake Turner What's In My Baseball Bag?

my name is Jake Turner class of 2027 I'm an outfield left-handed pitcher I play for Centennial baseball and I'm committed to [Music] TCU all right so the first thing I usually grab when I wake up in the morning is my pitching glove it's a 44 Pro custom I really like like the webbing kind of hides the ball when I'm delivering and I really love how it feels on the hand I mean this thing took I don't know a week and a half to break in really nice love how it feels uh the lacing got only had to get it redone one time so far you know it's just one of my favorite gloves I've ever had and then second glove I have is a Rawlings Heart of the Hide uh it's my Outfield glove just this one took a little longer to break in probably like a month month and a half love how like the Pockets really deep helps me catch it and transfer pretty smoothly um no no complaints with this really good glove just really smooth and feels great on the hand okay so we're going start with the bats um this is my summer bat we use wood in the summer a lot um bombat custom just all pink little cup in the end makes it really light easy to balance uh This Bat has a lot of Barrels in it gets the job done often and then just got a little end knob sticker there and uh yeah this is this is the summer bat next we have my backup bat you know just never know when the bomb bat will suddenly break on you and it's a 33 drop three it feels really smooth and just helps me get the bat through the Zone really balanced bat no cup and just really helps me stay through the ball and then last bat we have is a uh bone saber I don't know what about this bat it is it's just my favorite metal bat I've ever swung it's like the taper at the bottom is perfect for my hands really helps like my pinky at the bottom really just stays on and then really just feels smooth and I can get my hands quick through the Zone stay under the ball just be consistent with the often and it's a hybrid so I like the little Flex in the barrel it uh really shows that um like you make good contact when you have the good contact it flexes a lot more and it just feels really smooth off the bat [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] so then we go into these cleats honestly one of my favorite pairs I've ever had um just Jordans just Nike blue and white really goes with my school colors at Centennial they're molds for school cuz we just got a new turf field brand new feels really good really good grip no complaints about these love them a lot okay then we go to some of the pregame stuff I got just my massage gun love this thing had it for probably two years has seven different modes obviously usually using in a faster mode to get more Flex in it has like five different attachments for my arm back scalp and all that honestly helps me get really loose for the game especially when I'm throwing then another pre game you never know when you might need it ibuprofen you know arm candy it really helps especially when I'm sore the day after just pop some of these feels good within hour hour and a half and just really feels like I'm got a new arm to get the Shoulder loose before games I got my Wilson football just get my hands pretty wide to spread the fingers and just really helps my shoulder get loose in between games and just you really use this right before pitching and it really gets me right cuz when I stay through the ball it leads with my uh elbow and then just really loosens up my shoulder all right we'll go to some of the accessories you know got three arm sleeves in here we got a white one just goes with anything really like it we got a little hybrid here goes from like pink to White kind of uses this with any white jersey cuz it really coordinates well and then obviously the baby blue one kind of goes with like my whole color scheme I guess and really goes well with Centennial baseball and then always need wrist tape you never know like when your wrists get sore you just need some extra drip with you you can always count on these to just put it on and it always always helps next we just got some chapstick this nothing much here I mean just when games like especially cold games when your lips get really like chapped you're going to need it all right let's go into the main compartment the go-to before every game the gator light and some nerds got me clusters I mean there's no better combo than this I mean this really just gets your energy flowing in and this just gives you the electrolytes you need to play the game usually double header I'll have like three or four of these a game or not a game a day and it uh really helps me feel field and energized for the next game we got the pregame headphones you know every time pull up to the field always wearing these I don't know what I'm feeling that day maybe some Drake some 21 maybe some slow stuff depends on the mood honestly but usually these max volume every time and it really gets me hype to play the game of baseball another music item I have is a speaker it's just a JBL and uh this one's for the whole team uh one person connects you're bringing out like when we stretch throw gets everyone kind of in the same mood on the same page like picking songs and it get really gets the team chemistry together when you all like know the same song and you're all going to the beat having fun with it and enjoying it then we got these glasses these Oakleys got these in California decided I needed some new ones really like this nose piece here got it custom had to make sure it fit my nose and then really feels nice don't really feel anything and then really helps me protect the sun really like shaded don't never lose the ball with these honestly my favorite pair I've ever had okay so we got the backup leg guard you never know when you're going to need a backup my straps stream to break a lot my straps always lose velcro or just you never know what's going to happen with these but Evo shs really reliable love having them really like protective never really seem to foul one off the foot a lot so I usually just do the get rid of the foot guard and uh feels really comfortable it doesn't slow you down at all I mean just there's a there's only benefits to this no no non benefits I me then we got the Evo Shield baby blue sliding mitt I'm not I mean I be stealing a bag once in a while I mean you never know when you're going to need this it really protects my hand 12u I think I broke three fingers diving into bags diving back and ever since I got this I haven't broken one when I'm diving it's really the metal piece inside is really protective and it's really really good then we got the game leg guard just a black EV uh Nike leg guard you know gets the job done I use the foot guard on this one cuz it's basically brand new haven't decided if I want to keep it yet um same thing really protective don't feel anything really flexible and like I just love how it feels around my leg just perfect and the straps haven't had a problem with them so far really like sticky and velcro and uh hopefully getting to keep this for a long time goes with everything black goes with any color so all right so then you never know you're going to need some gum in between the games like uh on the bench or in between games it's the way to go just chewing gum I mean there's nothing else to it's just like kind of gets you right gets you in the like Focus I guess just gives you something to do while you're waiting now we got my pinear maruchi the spray tar I use it for my bats I don't really this isn't the team pinear cuz this is expensive and I love how it feels on my bat um yeah spray pretty good love how sticky it is and it just works perfectly with my wood bats I use it on my metal bat as well and it just like it feel like my hands won't never slip with this next we got the the Bruce bolts favorite batting gloves always always reliable you know we'll open them up we'll show you what we got got the baby blue colorway I love this pair I mean still goes with my whole colorin I guess really poppy player uh it goes with Centennial as well kind of just works love how the strap down here really makes my wrist secure really don't feel as much Flex is what I like I love not feeling that Flex it's just it feels like my hands are lot like safer with this on next we got the the po p boss use them before every game I pitch you know get the Shoulder right get the arm right get everything live action everything speeded up uh this is the heaviest one I got probably go reverse throws with this and just uh like some shoulder stuff and then these two just I kind of use for throwing just get the arm loose and the bullpen or like this I'll use maybe as far as 90 ft that's it this is the helmets for my summer ball te my gbg helmet uh it's been through a lot had it for two three years really like it I mean very secure been through a couple head shots uh yeah it's really it's been with me for a while it's seen all the ups and downs I guess um yeah probably one of the best homas I've ever had no complaints doesn't break feels really great around the head no missing pieces inside
