Legendary Goalkeeper Saves 2024
We missed two of the best saves that probably I've seen in my career with David,
two saves from that moment and after that the game continued in the same way.
Spot kick, and Rutegui's there again, saved again, oh that's amazing, what a double save.
I've got to say that's one of the best saves I've ever seen, the second one.
Wow, that is unbelievable, inside, Johnson, he's Manassar to Caruana,
Pope got there, and he had to.
Oh it's great reach, it's great footwork as well because he appreciates what Manassar's looking to do here.
Tassilic, that's a brilliant save by Courtois, the fingertips of the Belgian deny Tassilic's the goal.
Finds Rodgers, Manala, deflected, oh brilliant save, that is a world class save from David Ryan.
It's really awkward for him, Szczesko is in, super save.
And he came back and set up too quickly.
And in the same goal, where Roblak was...
Well the first thing I wrote in my notes was footing.
He scores, that's what he does.
Another save from Courtois, gets a good push and that's a comfortable save in the end.
And he's saved as well.
Slovenia put in a spot in the finals.
He does, Postol make it 1-0.
Mente has squeezed it through, it is quite extraordinary.
Muric with an elite level double save.
It's Kevin Sturge, Sturge steals, big deflection, what a save by Gregor Kolda.
It's Kenny Tete who's brought it all the way from the back and tries to test the goalkeeper.
And does, Tete producing defence down to his armour.
Toku!
By athletic, elastic touch over from Sanchez.
It's wicked, the dip, it takes a deflection.
Lamin Yamal, he follows Pedri, he gets into the area, Pedri for Yamal!
The cut from Ivankovic, it's spectacular, Lamin Yamal.
He was going to score in Euro and Ivankovic...
Given away by Italy, Fabian Ruiz from a long way out.
What an effort that was.
Fabian Ruiz to the header from Rodri.
And again another fantastic touch from Donnarumma to prevent Spain from going up 1-0.
And here's Simakon, back across!
Oh, strong hands from Mikhail Tsentseva to deny Christoph Baumgartner.
Three in the wall, Shobosai on the ball, does have a goal!
And Neuer just kept it out!
And they can't squeeze in the rebound.
Well, it's a good save by Neuer, Shobosai almost beat him.
Back problem of late.
Here's Xavi.
Goes down, penalty!
One.
Will it be a penalty? He converts.
No, it won't.
Three men to the rescue.
Missed their first league penalty.
Ball in, Pausen goes for it.
It's another penalty!
The substitute, Pausen, brought it.
Against three men.
He saved it again!
The seventh penalty save of his Bundesliga career.
The first time he's saved two points in one top flight game.
It's gonna fall here for Ayari!
The goalkeeper was just down for a second,
and somehow David Reier was able to pick himself up again.
When he first got the ball, Ayari, he got half of it.
It's a chance inside of the post from Vinicius Junior.
And how often does Manuel Neuer save Bayern Munich down the year?
Yeah, that was incredible.
A few minutes later.
Rodrigo, good save!
Really good power on the shot from Rodrigo.
Yeah, nice hit, nice dip.
Always fancied the goalkeeper, but he has to get right across to the right.
He lines the place up, now that's Cesco.
In again for life's sake!
And denied once more by Lunen.
Problems here, Mappi again.
They look a threat with every attack.
That's a brilliant save.
Disallowed!
Kras kept it out.
Extraordinary at the net.
And he threw himself at the ball.
I know we get carried away sometimes on great goalkeepers.
Another lead from Demiral.
Back in from Kras.
Baumgartner!
What a save from Kunuck.
That was Austria's moment.
Baumgartner of Leipzig, in Leipzig, to send us into exit.
Krasinski is serving at Gabriel.
And Son joins in.
And Johnson is denied!
What a switch from Ryan.
That was elastic.
Just a kiss, Eddie.
Kept his balance.
Nearly fell for Bernardo Silva.
The referee has pointed to the spot.
Ronaldo against Oblak.
Well, here's the ultimate test of that.
Ronaldo.
Saved by Oblak!
It just will not happen.
Trying to keep him off that left foot.
They haven't managed to do it.
He did well there.
And a great save from Courtois to deny Neymar.
Is that the save that gives Belgium their semi-final place?
They couldn't do it again, could they?
Is it a real opportunity?
Oh, what a save from Testegen to deny Aslani.
Barcelona for a split second.
We're out again.
You're in retreat.
Saka.
And Odegaard!
And Chiesa!
And Chiosa!
What a save, Martinez!
What a save.
I thought there was an offside in there.
But the flag didn't go up.
What a save.
You got it, Saka!
He did a save from Neuer.
From Jackson.
Now they should get another chance.
To adjust to.
He's got plenty of spin on the ball.
He gets a hand on it.
It's off the crossbar.
Odegaard.
Saka looking for the angle.
What a touch from Emi Martinez.
An important one as well.
From Zampano.
Waits for support.
Castellanos.
Clipped over.
Brilliant save by Jordanen.
Lovely pass.
Lazano with the corner.
Zapata!
It's a good save from Mignol.
Torino that close to doubling their advantage.
Let's open our desk.
Maneke!
Henderson save.
Into Mateta.
Maddison.
Brilliant save.
And a good save from Alisson Becker.
Fine strike.
Great save.
Looking for his first goal.
The flag stays low.
Lang with the chance at 2-0.
Then Saibhari.
Saibhari again.
What a save from Barkas.
This is brilliant goalkeeping.
The ball seems to be sailing.
But it's stretching.
And it's a great pass.
Extinctive header.
Into the six-yard box.
It's not clear.
It's a choice.
Just wide.
The same penalty and he's given it.
Larsen against Onana.
Easy.
Palmer takes.
And Palmer draws a fine save from Henderson.
Hooks it up and over the wall.
Korpa touch off with a deep cross in from Barella.
Big chance.
Lovely save.
Super save to deny Bastoni.
Waiting for the net to fall.
Unbelievable save.
But it should score.
Back with Bruno Guimaraes.
Liberamento coming in on the right-hand side.
Oh, it's a chance.
Oh, what a save.
And another one.
That is absolutely top class from Pez.
Will they live to regret this miss?
It was a brilliant save.
But they should be scoring, Newcastle.
Yeah, they should both score.
But it's fabulous goalkeeping.
Oh, that hit her hand.
That hit her hand.
And Croatia are appealing.
Modric against Donnarumma.
Who saves?
To go Modric's momentous.
Come on, Dom.
Nick Voltermaat is back.
He'll back on for Weiss.
A great block.
Oh, Neuer.
What a reaction save.
At his very best here to deny Weiss.
An opening goal for Werder Bremen.
Oh, blisse der Riefen.
Look.
Why Neuer is still one of the best goalkeepers.
Alvarez.
Two over.
One of them is Nunez.
And the follow-up
is deflected wide
when the goal was at Alvarez's mercy.
I think Cliqueton's done marvelously well here.
Anything will do
to stop a commentary like that.
Looking for a teammate.
It's Cliqueton.
And then Lugova on the rebound.
Doesn't make it count.
Luperto with the initial head up.
Meret again pulled into action.
Scalvini can square it.
Lugman is still there for Scalvini.
Lugman now.
And again.
It's wide.
Meunier with a miraculous save.
And Milan are just about still in the game.
That shot
drew the best out of Meunier.
It's a brilliant double save.
And the second one
reminiscing of Wojciech's change there
from last night
from Di Lorenzo.
Milan now.
Variattoli.
And now a goal!
It's not deep.
Nistila
goes for it.
It's a cross
for his teammate.
A miracle by De Gea
at the 40th minute.
Nistila
shoots hard.
Unstoppable
from the 11 metres.
And De Gea's save!
It's De Gea's save!
It's Zonnocki's mistake.
It's 3-3 now.
It's a penalty
for a decisive goal.
It's Meunier's goal!
It's a goal!
And it's fair.
It's fair this time too.
Hold on.
It's space here.
Dumfries.
Martínez.
For Marcos.
To Rab.
It's a fabulous save
Di Marco's still there.
And it will be
a corner.
Two chance
for Eiter.
One goal
and one out.
It's in!
Oh brilliant save
Arreola.
Brilliant save.
City took a short corner.
Marcos Boulay-Diagne.
This is Boulay-Diagne!
And it's somehow
kept out by De Gea.
A stinging strike.
A penalty ball
and caught out of his goal
somehow!
It almost went in!
Hattu Boulay
saving his blushes.
A 10 from Miyoshi.
Asensio Somerville.
And again Somerville!
Oh!
The goalkeeper's
got a touch on that
and it was a vital save.
So Hitzel
attacking on the near post
another good ball
and a fantastic save
from Kerbel.
Wow.
Wonderful ball there
what a great
he put the ball back
on the edge of the area
Bernardo Silva
hits the shot
and Vicario
makes the save.
Spurs
gave the ball away
on the edge
of their own area.
City have got in trouble here
because Pau Torres
hits the shot
and Edison
thrusts out a right palm
and parries it away.
But Villa in the space
of the opening six minutes
of course Edison
there's a gap over to the left
but Bowden shoots
and it's tip wide!
Bowden went for the near post
Allison stretched out her hand
pops it in
Harlan!
Brilliant save!
Absolutely stunning
from Onana
wonderful goalkeeping.
Terracianos cross
Folloruccio attacks it
it's a brilliant save
from Sportiello.
That is what you want
from a man tipped.
It's Albert
with a good ball
to save the season!
Oh my word!
This is not a goal kick
the assistant referee
has said it's a goal kick
this may be the MLS
save of the year.
What a touch this is
from Kambana
but Kalina Winston...
Allison won it back
and now Edouard
trying to get around
with a save of the season
that is an optetta
was powerfully struck
and was...
goes himself
and it's a fine save
from Szczesny
it's swerved awkwardly
the shot is then
tipped over the bar
by Edison
it just happened
a loose ball in the box
Harrison tried to
bend it into the far corner
with the out...
