Robert Downey Jr. Reassures Fans He Didn't Die at 2019 E! PCAs | E! People’s Choice Awards

Oh boy, welcome to the 2019 EE People's Choice Awards. God, that was some clip, huh? Wow, it has been a banner year in sports, music, TV, cinema, would you not agree? There's tons of phenomenal new talent on the rise and appropriately a few tearful goodbyes as well. Oh snap, that's what I wanted Tony to say to Thanos after he nabbed the gauntlet. I wanted him to say, oh snap, but I suppose I am Iron Man was a fitting final statement for the now late Mr. Stark. Yep, it's been trippy. I gotta tell you, folks come up to me on the street or it would be like a stop sign and they'll roll down the window and they say, I'm so sad, I cried when you died. To which I respond partly to remind myself, no, he died, I'm still here, thank you for your condolences. And I've been meaning to add as I see folks on the street, and don't miss Doolittle in theaters 1-17-2020. It's a wildly hairy and feathered goose chase of an adventure the whole family will love. Gotta get my little plug in there. Regardless, I am delighted to be attending an award show that belongs to you, whose winners are decided by your votes. Because I think it's important for us industry types to remember who we actually work for the audience. And yeah, oh, lest we forget.
