Let's begin our We all know that first flying machine called aeroplane was invented by Wright brothers in year 1903. But what if I say there are records of flying machine from ancient India. Yes you heard it right as per Valmiki Ramayana Lord Rama used flying machine called Pushpaka Vimana where he brought back kidnapper Sita Ma from Sri Lanka to Ayodhya. Not just this but also there are many records in Vedas especially in 6000 year old Rig Veda which mentions of flying machine in which ancient planes had 40 small engines and are capable to carry humans and fly. Next at number 4 is Pie. Many people believes that first calculation of pie was done by Greek mathematician Archidemes in 2nd century BC. And if you are one among them then you are completely wrong. As per Boudhyana Sulabha Sutra parameter of pit is 3 times its diameter where it is approximated value of pie is 3. And later Manava Sulabha Sutra approximates the value of pie is What's more interesting is Boudhyana estimated value of pie 600 years before Archidemes that is in 8th century BC. Coming in number 3 is Discovery of Gravity. We all know that Newton who proved laws of gravitation with stupid apple story. But what if I say Newton was not first person to discover gravity. Yes you heard it right. A book written in 6000 BC called Prashna Upanishads explain about gravitational pull. In book it is described about force that pull object towards earth and same force that keep us grounded to earth and also book mentions without that force we will end up floating in space. And it was in year 1150 AD where Bhaskaracharya writes book called Siddhanta Siromani in which he explained every object falls on ground due to earth force of attraction where this force allows sun, moon, earth and other constellation to stay in orbit. Second in list is time taken by earth to orbit around sun. We all know that earth takes 365 days to complete one rotation around sun where astronomers smart and space agencies calculated exact value of earth rotation. But what if I say Bhaskaracharya rightly calculated time taken by earth to orbit around sun hundreds of years before any space agency. A book called Surya Siddhanta written and updated between 700 BC to 600 AD explains that time it takes for earth to revolve around sun is 365.25 days which is only 1.5 second longer than exact value. And in number 1 solar system discovery. We all know that Galileo was first person to discover individual bodies of solar system in year 1609. But interesting thing is Indians knew about solar system from thousands of years before modern world. Yes Indians are following astrology from thousands of years where it is completely based on solar system and its planets. And also one cannot forget that 6000 year old vedas mentioned about astrology based on solar system where it is also mentioned about solar and lunar eclipse which is completely depend on planetary motion.
