The Two Pots

A brass pot and an earthen pot stood together by the fire. The brass pot wanted to go out into the world, and at first, the fragile earthen pot refused, afraid of breaking.

Finally, he agreed, trusting the brass pot to protect him. But as they traveled, the bumps cracked the earthen pot, and soon it shattered.

Moral: Friends should be equals; some differences are too great for close companionship.
