right? You're looking at it, you're seeing a little bit of hair loss. The coat itself is
really dry. You're seeing flakes of dandruff. It could be your dog's lacking something in
their diet. Not enough essential fatty acids. It may be environmental. It's especially dry.
There's not enough moisture. I know for myself, your skin getting really dry and flaky and a
little bit itchy. Or it just could be the old dreaded allergies. This remedy came from one of
you guys, a subscriber. Thanks so much. I tried it on myself. I had some dry, itchy skin. It worked
so well. I'm like, okay, I got to share this. Today's remedies starting with coconut oil.
We're going to be using two tablespoons of coconut oil. It is a great natural skincare oil.
It is anti-inflammatory. It's anti-bacterial, can help to re-moisturize dry skin. The second oil,
which is really key to this combination, it's shea butter. We're taking one teaspoon of the
shea butter. It is native to West Africa, comes from the shea tree, produces a nut.
That's how you make the butter. It is probably one of the ideal skin oils. It's got balanced
linoleic, along with oleic acid. It's a great skin moisturizer, but it doesn't make the skin
oily. And it also gets absorbed really well. Number three, an essential oil that we've talked
about a lot, tea tree oil. Tea tree is anti-inflammatory. It's anti-bacterial. It's
anti-fungal. It's pretty, really important. We're trying to treat some of these chronic
fungal infections. Nothing else will really respond. We want to be really careful. So we're
just using a small amount. I'm just going to put in two drops of the tea tree. So we get some of
the benefits of it being anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, but we're
making it especially dilute, less than 1%, meaning it's safe to apply topically to our dogs.
So we now have our shea butter, our coconut oil, and our tea tree combination.
It's well mixed up. And that's something that you can apply twice a day to the affected area.
So for instance, for me, I was just topically putting on my hands, especially. They were dry,
a little bit flaky. With Tula, she's been scratching in her groin. And I'm going to apply that right
into her groin. You could also put it all throughout your dog's fur. The subscriber who
commented on YouTube, it suggested they just put that in through their dog's fur.
It gets dry, itchy, and flaky. They'll do that a couple of times a day. And in no time, they have
less hair loss, their coat is shiny, and they're far less itchy with less dandruff. So an awesome
option. It's a great natural option. I love that combination. Working really well for me.
And hopefully for your dogs. This is a great skin option as far as being anti-inflammatory,
antibacterial, antifungal. I mean, it's also helping to re-moisturize the skin,
decreasing the amount of dandruff. Because we're using such a teeny amount of tea tree,
just a couple of drops, I mean, this is less than 0.5% tea tree. It's safe to incorporate that
into your dog's skin as well. If you have a dog with dry, itchy skin, nothing worked,
consider trying this remedy. And if you do, I'd love to hear your feedback.
