LAKERS VS WARRIORS 2ND QUARTER TIME OUT 12/26/2024

The rim protection has cratered, obviously. He is a massive presence on the defensive end. They're not a big paint team, Golden State, but take advantage of this downsized lineup right now. First free throw attempts of the game for Golden State. They've played 18 minutes. Jackson Davis is on the board, had a great block earlier. Hachimora sets the screen. Reeves goes the other way. Back to Hachimora. Good-looking jumper in and out, though. Wiggins inadvertently took a shot in the face as Reddish unintentionally hit him in the eye. Colombo back in. Reddish picks up his first. They're seeing Wiggins. Did he get a mic? Did he get a mic? I've embellished that about 100 times in my career. Do you admit to that? 100%. I'll admit to anything when I retire. Truter, back out Jackson Davis. Truter, scoop layup, and a follow. Jackson Davis right there. Jackson Davis has had a heck of a first half. They just keep telling him, be aggressive. Had some really nice moments last year as a rookie. This year, back in the starting lineup. Reeves can't hit. Koloko, with another play, gets the rebound. He's got five of those in five minutes. Reeves inside. Jackson Davis right there to block it. Christie launches. That's good. Max Christie rattles it in. Lakers back up by seven. Bill, Koloko's had an impact out there. Bojanski up top. Schachbach down to five. Wiggins lost it. Slipped out of his hand, got it back. Close to a wedgie there, but Koloko, Mike, three different opportunities in that half court set. Paying attention to the ball handler, giving assistance where needed, and then sprinting back to make that challenge. Really good job. And again, with Davis back in the locker room, a much-needed impact with some size. Of course, Christian Wood, Jackson Hayes, neither available because of injury. They're shorthanded on bigs. Here's Reeves, one man to beat. It's Bojanski, defends him well, still banks it home. Tough shot from Reeves. How about they've added to their lead, Richard? I'll be at two points since LeBron James went out. Austin Reeves, seven points, five assists. Are you saying they should trade LeBron? Is that what you're saying right now, they're better without him? I heard you, Dorris. Jackson Davis with a steal. Bojanski, three-pointer. Jackson Davis making things happen for Golden State. Meanwhile, the Lakers getting some good contributions off the bench as well.
