week in my life 🪩🥂 NYE party planning, prepping, + cleaning it ALLLL up

[Music] okay guys it's Sunday night I landed from Florida couple hours ago Ryan's here T-minus 2 days until the Epic New Year's Eve party and trying to figure out the best way I think about like 40 people are coming so I was thinking in this room like this is where people are going to walk in so definitely want like it to be a little bit more roomy here or a dance floor if you will no I'm kidding not really uh we just ate dinner so that's why these are here so let me move that but I've got big strong Ryan here to help me and we took away the dining chairs to move the table and it already looks so much emptier and I guess this could be nice people are standing they put their drink down they're talking to a friend but I kind of wanted to see what it looked like just for the party for this to be horizontal and I want to move the couch and Ryan wants to move the couch um but the tree is there now I said we could move the tree so it's in the window which would be pretty and then the couch this way but then if the table's here I don't know if they'll be kissing too much so we're going to play around we're going to see how this goes it's like we're redecorating right why are you measuring well let's just move this horizontally first I'm just curious it looks like one second Ryan's measuring the let's move this table I feel like it's kind of heavy but maybe we can slide it oh it's not that heavy at all I thought this was going to be so heavy on the rug it's not Center yeah it's only 4 ft oh my God it's amazing it's 6 ft long but 4T at the bottom look at all this room Dance Floor dance floor I mean this is nice I can have the cheeseboard here I was going to see if you could maybe make dog dip my aunt got me this light for Christmas that we saw at Medusa you don't think people are going to go behind the table well here just pick it up just Mo back great yeah I'd like to keep the rug down I guess that's kind of weird and I have this light here that I can put on the table so people can see the chery board I still you move the couch you can really business all right let's move the couch why not we've always wondered what it would look like if we mov to the couch for a party so and then the chairs oh the chairs so the chairs can you can put the chairs behind they're like two or three of them yeah we could put a few chairs back that could work but this is this is awesome this is great for a party all right now let's well first we have to move the Christmas tree and then go from there looks like a sign in table it does it's like you're signing Christmas tree until after New Year's person and I'm too lazy to take that wasn't too bad when watch Jad out of like and then your coffee table will go in your closet too I'm like okay no people need the other day and then we Ryan Ryan moved that therez like here something and then the coffee table can go here okay Christmas tree looks cute back there actually you put some chairs on that side oh most people will be standing I think I hired a bartender you guys so they'll be behind the counter this will be the bar area food area hangout area maybe I'll clear off the coffee table so it's functional not all my coffee table books this is great this feels really open okay update I moved the books over here in a nice little pile and I put a coaster on either side not that I really care if people use a coaster or not but like you know there'll be options then I put this really cute pollen Paris candle that they sent me as a gift in the middle I thought that's a nice little centerpiece you know keeping it pretty simple guys my dad got us all box balling for Christmas and it's so hard and I want Ryan to try it I'm going to pull this out at the party see who can get the most punches come on Ryan come try now I'm really an elephant okay he's actually doing really good so we're going to film it wow this is really good it's better than me boom boom it's so vulnerable I changed my artwork on my frame TV ow oh my god oh oh no my shin there's totally going to be a bruise in the morning no anyways I changed my artwork to this how fun is that frame TVs know what's up they've got fun Decor but I'm going to turn it off for the night oh my gosh guys I'm going to have a bruise and I think I'm wearing a dress without tight I guess I could wear tights and you might not see the bruise as much gosh darn it anyways that's all for tonight's New Year's Eve party prep I will see you guys tomorrow which is the big bulk of all the prep this is just the foundation good morning guys it's Monday December 30th I am unboxing like PR I got in the mail the one hotel sent me a holiday gift like just for being a member of the one hotel family whatever that means these are the robes they give you at the one hotel and yes I'm still listening to Christmas music until December 31st okay a one hotel hat room spray and they sent a second robe and a candle and I'm going to give Brooke the second robe because I know she also loves the one hotel R so nice so nice and for people sent this really cute hat and I've been wanting a black scarf so just feeling the love thank you Brands I love you Ryan just left I'm doing some cleaning and I'm actually going to bake this sourdough bread it's like the only thing I have in my fridge right now and it has such great ingredients my dad found it at Whole Foods and you just bake it in the oven but it's like super simple ingredients flour water salt organic barley malt like so good I mean look how scrumptious this looks like you I don't know if you can see it in the video but there's steam coming off of the bread I just cut a few pieces this is my breakfast [Music] okay we have my random outfit to go get a spray tan guys I bought Delta merch I know I know I actually bought an ornament and then I got an email saying that they were out of them so I don't know if they sent this to be nice and like still refunded me but cuz I would have bought this hat but it was sold out um all the merch I'm wearing a Pooky sweatshirt skims like the not jogger sweatpants so that like it doesn't stick to my legs with the spray T and my rothy hopefully I won't be too cold but it's 55 and I'm like hot in here so we're going to go to sugar and bronze get a spray tan I am literally so excited to be tan like I scrubbed myself so much and it's giving pale and that's okay but I want to be tan it is the most gorgeous stunning beautiful day outside I have so many errands to run so I'm just going to have to walk to all the errands even though I'm going to have the spray tan on the good thing about getting a spray tan in the morning morning is I'll be able to shower it off before bed but like oh it's so nice out it's like 55° in Sunny that's like [Music] 60 we are so back AKA got a spr channel like I feel so much better we're going to go to juice generation get an OP smoothie because I haven't had one in like 2 weeks and I need it in my veins right [Music] now okay let's see if it still [Music] hits oh baby that's good we are now going to go to tulsy market and get some cheesy sh cterie stock to make a cheeseboard [Music] I know Brooke loves these so I'm going to get them just for her I'm trying samples this is fancy thank you that's good but it you it can't chop well I'm not like a [ __ ] or Jam person in cheeseboards but I know what some of my friends are so I'm going to get these two and hope they're good got the cheeses now we're going to get some crackers I love me a simple water cracker these Mary's Gone Crackers are so good I'm going to go for the super seeds we do some Rosemary and sea salt I want to do a little crud as well so we'll get some hummus so the bartender service I'm using it gave me this list of like what they suggest to have for like a full bar situation and you can customize as you please oh I wish I made menus I guess I still have time to make menus I need to add that to the list so I have about 40 guests coming so like for example five bottles of ginger ale I multiply that by4 they said to get um the right thing and I just did it and it says two which makes sense so I'm going to use this math to figure out the rest um and then we got to go get the supplies I've been going downstairs upstairs Outside Inside like all morning and my Tor was like you're on the move today and I was like well I'm hosting people and I'm just really excited clearly and we were just talking and I was like who's working tomorrow night slash what is the vibe with this building with parties and which I feel like it's like you're never supposed to ask you're supposed to ask for forgiveness rather than for permission but like I am a nervous girly and he was like you're literally fine we've had people have like 150 people over at their apartment before you're going to be fine like noise complaints like no this building's chill and I was like thank God because I was kind of nervous got to plant the seed you know also I don't think I mentioned my friend Alex is coming to New York City um for New Year's I think she did she come last year no she didn't come last year but she's staying with Delaney but Delaney landed from Atlanta today she was home for the holidays so she needed a day to like get her life together and I landed yesterday so Alex is coming today and sleeping over here tonight and I told her I was like come but just so you know I'm in like party prep mode and she was like let's do it so she'll be here soon and I'm excited honestly to have an extra pair of hands to help and just to catch up with her she's going to be so confused when she walks in my apartment at the layout um but yeah going to need to do the liquor need to get stuff for crew to take cuz I want to do veggies and hummus as well as the cheese and then Ryan's going to make dog dip and I think that's really I'm going to do for food cuz everyone that I've talked to has like a dinner reservation before and then they're coming okay guys I just finished making my master list and I am just feeling very whole I'm feeling good I asked Adam I was like what are the best ingredients for espresso martinis and he sent me like his favorites so and I just have some other things that I need to move around and do so we're in a good spot okay Alex is here hi we just had lunch at solo house I got to see coffee now we're going to go to Gourmet Garage which is a grocery store in like West Village that I really like um to get the remaining groceries I need like crud and that's pretty much it maybe another cheese who knows see how I'm feeling hting arrow in my hosting Arrow okay guys we're looking out I've got my amazing assistant here today finding some more hummus like a flavor what do you think the people will like I got regular hummus I love red pepper hummus spinach AR choke I didn't know that existed on hummus let's do red pepper that sounds yummy thank you Alex crab pleas it for sure super quick grocery Hol that you guys probably don't care about I got Ranch carrots red pepper hummus sugar snack peas celery these are some of the best chip or like crackers for cheese cords I love them and then I got more this is like cucumber Tomatoes broccoli and grapes for the cheeseboard but I bet some people are going to steal them to eat 12 grapes under my table so yeah okay guys we are back now watching Gossip Girl and I've been having so much fun making this little cocktail menu on canva um so I'll have all the ingredients to make other drinks too but these are like you know give people some ideas I'm going to see what I can get printed in a day um in a menu size we're going to see what I can pull off here but either way I thought it' be cute to have a visual we're in the lab right now I ordered all these really cute CS but of course they don't come like that they come o two separate parts so we're putting them together right now but this is going to look fabulous okay guys let's do a little Amazon haul I just had to get this I'm sorry I was on Pinterest looking at New Year's Eve decor and I saw this it's a disco ball ice bucket so you can either put like a thing of champagne in there with ice or I might just use it to put ice in there some metallic straws I also got 25 metallic Chrome balloons that are being delivered tomorrow to go on the ceiling very excited that'll be like my one like Decor thing these cups for cocktails also these and then also these goodbye 2024 hello 2025 um some plates just to have napkins oh I kind of do need to go to party today I wanted to get little mixing straws and cocktail napkins I thought these were cocktail size and I guess this was like a pack with forks what I'm even more excited about is my 2025 cheese board so it's like each number um so that'll be fun I might need to use another board also but I thought that would be cute and like a little way to have Decor we finished all the cups thanks to Alex's help that just looks so satisfying to me so yay like I'm sorry that looks so good my light on I'm so excited guys who would have thought Uber Eats had these acrylic frames on here so I just ordered 8 by 10 they only had 8 by 10 which is a little bit bigger than I'd like for a cocktail menu but I got these they had them on Michael's Uber Eats and I printed 8x10 menus from CVS photo that I can pick up tonight or tomorrow morning whenever I want so pumped about that Party City time and Alex just informed me that all party cities are closing this is so sad wait are these like oh I'll hate myself but that's so fun we'll pop real champagne and stab we came in here for some few last minute goodies cornetes are smaller ones too oh my God are I thought they were yeah I thought so too do people wear these anymore like I grew up I had high school New Year's Eve parties and I'd always buy these but like maybe people don't wear those anymore my God there's so many goodies Alex is waiting a line for me because the line is so long while I shop which is amazing packed house came to get some dumplings very excited these are soup dumplings we are back now I need to shower off this spray tan now but guys we went to CVS on our way back and I got my menus in there they're stunning Alex proof read them for me they're beautiful so cute so we're going to put them in these things oops my Dorman downstairs just told us like we walked in he was like I'm watching tennis like it's dead today and I was like really is like no one here he was like there are probably literally 10 Apartments like 10 units that have people here right now he said it's really normal at this building like no one's here so I just told my family and he goes my dad goes good for party no noise complaints honestly that was my first thought too but but my neighbors have had parties before and I only heard it if I was out there like wasn't a problem I mean it's not like we're going to have like a DJ yeah I'm like should I have yay oh my gosh so cute arts and crafts little Party City Hall I can't believe pry city is just going to be gone forever I know I bought these crowns I don't know why they just spoke to me I just know there's going to be a couple people that want to put something on their head so you know we had to support Part City on their way out too of course of course some black cocktail napkin the only thing they didn't have were like the little cocktail stir straws but that's okay Alex found these got some whistles you know or not whistles what are these blowouts or blowout blowouts getting a blowout and also Alex was like are you going to get junk glasses am I yes so I found gold ones and that's I'm officially done well actually no I'm not I was going to say I'm officially done buying things but I still have to get all the liquor yeah it's going to be tonight's project after I shower this all [Music] good morning Happy New Year's Eve Alex is still asleep so I'm talking kind of quietly but I am setting up the bar right now I got some limes put them in this bowl I don't know I don't know where to put it if I should go over here um the bartender is also bringing his own garnishes but kind of setting everything up visually putting some things in the fridge like I'm going to put some Cokes in the fridge stuff like that um but yeah I got a lot of great things also Topo Chico has ginger beer didn't know this so I'm really thrilled to try that got to light my holiday candle while I still can and I want my apartment to smell amazing when people walk in so I need to have this baby going [Music] today I'm just walking around my apartment cleaning wind indexing the mirrors vacuuming doing all that and I just scheduled a pizza delivery between midnight and 12:30 tonight or tomorrow morning however you want to think about it because I'm thinking ahead we're going to need pizza so bleer Street Pizza I was able to schedule an order to be delivered at midnight oh my God your outfit's so cute show the the class oh it's just a little top it's a little something I like how you button it on the top with the little tank underneath that's so cute wow the difference between us right now also I got these from Amazon and I like them they're blue light glasses so Delan is borrowing this dress from me and I'm giving her my old base suitcase cuz I got this in brown so I had like a matching Brown set so I'm giving this carry on to Delany and the dress and Alex is going to bring it to her but I'm going to put this stationary my dad got me to use like I literally feel like I can only use this when it's like a silly joke because like this face is like hey there so I go happy New Year I hope she giggles when she opens it I moved the rug you guys guys thanks to Alex's help now I'm going to do that of course I'm listening to Drake and scza right now I'm in a sza mode so I'm filming two Transitions and I feel like right now is the perfect time to film a transition because I look really bad right now this is the first one I [Music] filmed also like I think I'm going to use this as inso for my Glam later cat is doing my makeup later because she's the best and then this is and then come back and I really should build the cheeseboard I have a lot to do today okay let's go I just tried on a few outfits and I decided this dress is just meant for New Year's Eve and then I have these shoes from DSW they're Jessica Simpson I think I'm going to wear these or my like big chunky black um heels so we'll see okay we're going to get outside go for one last hot girl walk of 2024 it's like 50° outside like I don't even think I really need this but it's it's actually quite light um I recently upgraded to the bigger BL lemon belt bag I used to have the smaller one and I oh I still have it I left it in Florida so I have one when I'm home in Florida cuz I go for lots of walks when I'm home least I like to I try to anyways I got this big one and I just fits like just a little bit more it's perfect for my walks going to reflect on life this is like actually kind of annoying me at the moment just going to enjoy some alone time before I'm with a ton of people all night I tend to do this like whenever I have birthday parties or just parties in general I try to have some alone time to charge up beforehand and it's very helpful I'm feeling claustrophobic what's happening let me just zip it up more that'll really help anyways let's [Music] go so the Highline is so crowded like I can't get my fast walking in which happens sometimes so we're going to go the West Side Highway so I can walk fast listen to good music like I was in a reflective mood but honestly I'm so hyped right now like I'm listening to rap and hip hop and walking fast so I'm just leaning into to what my my mood is telling me and it's telling me to walk fast to fun music balloon Planet just called me I ordered 25 Silver like Chrome balloons to put on the ceiling and she said she'll be on it so I'm going to walk for like 10 minutes and then head back um and then go back on my walk I don't even know let's see what I can get in [Music] we've got the balloons you guys I guess that's 25 right there this is so funny So the plan is I'm going to let them go oh [ __ ] no okay well there they are so I guess I'll do that now um and then have them be throughout the ceiling and I guess I can't really plan where they go okay well I guess we're going to do this now all right we're going to let these balloons get well ah I got to figure this out here my God I feel like I'm in the movie Squad come and do my hair trying to figure out what to do with my hair I was thinking like voluminous curls and maybe have them I have my acquired style rollers here and have her put them in rollers I you guys know I do a side I did a side part I did side Parts a lot last winter and I'm kind of like maybe this is the vibe tonight because I'm wearing a strappless dress like nothing really going on up here like that is so pretty but also like they have to S it has to be perfect so I'm like what do I want to do I could also have her curl it in the middle part like with these voluminous curls and then I can move it to the side maybe that's the move because then it like really has a swish when you switch to the side because I am stopping by this Listerine event at 5:00 I'm doing a partnership with them so I'm like rushing over to Midtown from 5:00 to 5:30 um to check out their popup take a mouthwash Swig so I'm going to do like light makeup for that and I'll have my hair done then I'll come back and cat is doing my makeup so maybe I'll H or curl my hair in a middle part with the rollers and then do a side part when I get back from the list thing hair is done and it's all set in my rollers right now I love how I look in rollers like I love how people look when they have their rollers and I think it's so fabulous like can I just wear my hair like this tonight except for this guys he's hanging out so I'm just going to do some light makeup we're going to go to this Listerine popup need to figure out what I'm wearing to that cuz I'm not wearing my dress to that but yeah the girl that did my hair was so awesome too The Vibes were great enjoying all this alone time before I don't have any more alone time okay I did super light makeup like I didn't even put anything on my eyes really tell yeah I think some in the back she just like oh I need to start doing this when I get my hair done the only thing about rollers is I know you're supposed to take them out a certain way right like maybe acquired style for a second Bridget are you proud of me I got to say like I know there's people out there that don't like New Year's and that is so fair but I I think I definitely do like I think and it doesn't matter what you're doing for New Year's like I I've done different things every year I do like to have a party or like go to a party or get dressed up like there is not one New Year's where I haven't been dressed up but that's okay like if that's not your Vibe don't do it like I feel like you should go into the new year doing something that you want to do like being comfortable being with friends being happy being with your partner whatever it may be and I feel so grateful that I'm getting to celebrate it this way tonight I'm really really excited I think it's so fun like yes tomorrow is just literally another day but I like to be dramatic about it while I was getting my hair done I started to make my I started to make my vision board on Pinterest like just pinning things I don't know if I'll get it printed this year or not ow my dad is making cabbage soup right now now oh I didn't pull out the roller the right way I feel like for that one okay we're getting to the end of them here is that right I don't know that'll give some volume though also I don't even know if I said this Ryan and his sister have some surprise cooked up um his sister is coming I love her she's bringing some of her friends and I have no idea what this surprise might be but I I'm guessing I'm going to predict it now and we'll see if I'm right I'm guessing jello shots because they both went to the grocery store today ah it's giving volume it's giving lots of volume amazing um they both went to their grocery store today also because he's making dog dip but they facetimed me together in his kitchen and I just feel like they're making jello shots I don't know but also actually maybe not cuz don't you have to do that overnight maybe not actually I don't know I really don't know and then he asked me if I had any extra menu like menu holders and I said no and I told him where I got them and he sent one here like via Uber Eats so I'm like what are you making a menu for maybe it's for the dog dip but he won't tell me I have no idea but I'm very happy with my hair like it's going to fall oh oh he's FaceTiming hello love the hair thank you I just took it out of all these rollers very voluminous looks very voluminous yeah that's a good way to put it here is my outfit for the lisine popup if you even care I'm going to head to do that and then we'll come clean all this up some of my friends before leaving like Delaney Alex me and some of them I noticed they were cleaning before they left which was so kind cuz I was just right there dancing me Mary Stephen Morgan and kin were the last ones here dancing like we just kept playing like once everyone left we were like all right we're just going to play like our high school songs that no one else cares about and our sweet boyfriends just held space for us and watched us dance the floor is so sticky thank God I rolled up that Rog but it was such a hit that midnight pizza delivery was a huge hit I felt really cool walking in with the pizza and I'm just feeling really grateful I got to say like the first I don't even know what I look like right now the first like 2 hours of the party I can't lie I was pretty stressed I didn't get enough lime juice I didn't get enough vodka so I had to order more vodka and more lime juice but other than that like I ordered the right amount I ordered the right amount of ice I think there's like I don't think there's any left I should check maybe there's one bag of ice left yeah there's just one bag of ice left let's check in like this is not even triggering to me right now which is amazing okay not a lot of gin drinkers a lot of whiskey I guess there was like a lot more guys here than I thought was going to be espresso Martini stuff I don't think grenadine was used once that's sad I should have figured Katie Botti brought Emma's Olive brine thank goodness for the dirty Martin dirty martinis all the champagne I think was drink all that Grey Goose was drink like I didn't realize I thought people like tequila these days but the tequila wasn't even finished I guess people are on their vodka Journeys right now wow Ryan wanted to pop the balloons last night I was like no I'm going to ride this out until I can't no longer there's some balloons starting to fallai and got some coffees and a sparkling water and I own a Swiffer but I really hate like constantly putting that the cloth on it so this is a microfiber mop and um um it's reusable up to 500 times so you don't have to constantly put a new one on and this is instead of like having a different thing you spray and then you wipe with your mop so I'm going to give this a go I walked in my dor and like you had to go buy a mop I was like yeah that kind of day apparently it's bad luck to clean on New Year's Day but like I'm not going to live like this I'm having people over again tonight to watch the Georgia game so we're going to clean I'm going to do a little clean it and this doesn't come off it's Velcro on it sprays so far and it this thing doesn't come off I love it [Music] just decided to take away the Christmas decor while we were at it and I'll move my
