Zhao Liying's CCTV Interview Goes Viral: From Extra to Magnolia Best Actress, What's Her Secret to

Hello, today's video we have the following content. Zhao Liying's CCTV interview goes viral, from extra to magnolia best actress, what's her secret to success? Zhao Liying's 4 minute CCTV interview was truly a bolt from the blue. In just a few hundred seconds, the amount of information was so vast that I felt like I was watching a fast forward documentary. This time, CCTV played their trump card, not only giving us a new perspective on Zhao Liying but also offering the entertainers and showbiz a public lesson in perseverance. Honestly, after watching the interview, I was almost tempted to sign up for acting classes, feeling like I could go from a village to the magnolia awards. At the beginning of the interview, Zhao Liying threw out an out of syllabus question and gave a satisfactory answer. Her words surprised not just the CCTV reporter but also me, the viewer, to the point of almost applauding. What is an out of syllabus question? It's probably something that's been said against you since birth, like an ordinary rural girl, with no background, no resources, and no professional training, trying to make it big in the entertainment industry. For most people, they might just hand in a blank paper upon seeing such a question. But Zhao Liying didn't believe in that. She turned the seemingly impossible challenge into a journey of growth. You could say her path is something even inspirational literature wouldn't dare to write. Comparing her with other actresses born in the 80s, Liu Yifei was born with an innate fairy-like aura, Liu Shishi came with an air of elegance, and Yang Mi had a smooth ride with resources. But what about Zhao Liying? She ran from the countryside to the set with sheer stubbornness and the ability to withstand pressure. If you ask what resources she had, maybe hard work counts as one. While others' childhoods were spent learning dance or piano, hers might have been helping with the corn harvest. But it's this background that gave Zhao Liying a down-to-earth charm. Let me tell you, her resilience, like pulling up radishes from the ground, has firmly established her in the entertainment industry. Do you remember the show Ya Tiger Star Search? It sounds nostalgic now. Zhao Liying entered the entertainment industry through that show. Back then, she was just a little girl, squeezed among a crowd of long-legged, slender-waisted contestants, looking both ordinary and awkward. Who would have thought this unremarkable girl would later play bit parts, supporting roles, and eventually become a leading actress at the level of the Magnolia Awards? Her success was not by chance but by mastering a bad hand dealt by fate into a winning one. Zhao Liying's dedication was also key to her breakout. When filming The Princess Agents, she recommended an actress for the third female lead. Some said she was meddling, others thought she was betting on someone's character. But behind this act is a heartwarming story. Back when filming My Fair Princess, Zhao Liying was just a background actor, sitting in the corner watching the stars chat. Zhang Rui, who played the fifth prince, noticed this nobody and pulled her into the circle of main actors. Zhao Liying never forgot this kindness and repaid it by helping Zhang Rui's girlfriend when she had the chance. This kind of human touch is hard to find in today's entertainment industry. When it comes to acting, Zhao Liying isn't a natural talent. She started with Legend of Lushan, using an almost obsessive method of immersion. She had everyone on set call her Lushan, not Zhao Liying, because she believed she could only portray the character authentically by becoming her. Later, for Zhang Yimou's The Second Ten, she went days without speaking to play a deaf mute, quietly observing others' behaviors. Zhang Yimou was initially worried she was too young, but her determination won him over. This side of Zhao Liying shows the true weight of the word actor. Interestingly, her dedication has even earned her the respect of her peers. Feng Shoufeng once said, she changes completely when she enters the set, becoming the character. Even this seasoned actor couldn't help but admire her effort. You might say she has extraordinary talent, but she admits that many times she succeeded through sheer hard work. It's this hard work that took her from the sweet girl in idol dramas to Su Bansha in The Wind Blows from Longxi. If we talk about her shining moments, it would be at the Magnolia Awards. She got teary-eyed on stage, saying, I never thought such a good thing would happen to me. That moment broke my defenses. A girl from the countryside fighting her way to stand on that awards stage, who wouldn't feel moved? At that moment, she cried, but she wasn't Zhao Liying, the Magnolia Best Actress, she was Sunny from My Fair Princess, the overlooked extra. She responded to all doubts with her efforts. Of course, she's not without controversy. Some say her acting is too forceful, others criticize her for having a narrow range. But Zhao Liying never dodges these issues, she proves herself with every new role. From the journey of Flower to The Wind Blows from Longxi, she's constantly improving. She once said, life is about daring to move forward, no matter how hard it gets, you push on. This sounds rough, but it's really profound wisdom. Ultimately, Zhao Liying's success came not from luck but from steady, down-to-earth hard work. She shows us through her experience that life isn't about cheats, it's about persisting through one challenge after another. Why did CCTV choose her for this interview? Because she embodies the spirit of the true working class hero. She's not just another template of a celebrity but a symbol that even ordinary people can achieve their dreams. After watching Zhao Liying's interview, I suddenly felt there's no excuse for me to be lazy anymore. If a village girl can achieve such feats, we ordinary folks should at least try to push forward, right? But Zhao Liying's story is far from over. Will she bring even greater surprises next time? I bet she will. And what about you? Just wait and see.
