Hello friends.
Welcome to the Kids Free Learning Hub.
Today we're going on an exciting adventure to meet some amazing animals from the zoo.
Are you ready to learn about lions, elephants, giraffes, and more?
Let's get started and explore these incredible creatures.
Here's the mighty tiger.
Tigers are big cats with orange fur and black stripes.
Every tiger's stripes are special, just like your fingerprints.
They love to rest and play, and they are excellent swimmers.
When you visit them at the zoo, be sure to stay quiet and watch them carefully.
Look at this huge elephant.
Elephants are the biggest land animals in the world.
They have long trunks to drink water, pick up food, and even spray themselves with water
to cool off.
Elephants are gentle, but need lots of space.
Can you imagine how big they are?
Here comes the lion, the king of the jungle.
Lions are powerful animals that live in groups called prides.
The male lions have big fluffy manes that make them look royal.
They sleep most of the day, but are awake at night.
Can you roar like a lion?
Look at this tall giraffe.
Giraffes are the tallest animals on land, and they have long necks to reach leaves on
tall trees.
Their tongues are long too, about the length of a ruler.
At the zoo, you might see giraffes eating from tall trees or walking gracefully.
Here's the zebra with its cool black and white stripes.
Each zebra's stripes are unique, just like your fingerprints.
Zebras love to stay in groups, called herds, and they are really fast runners.
Let's pretend to run like a zebra together.
Look at this ostrich.
Even though they can't fly, ostriches are the fastest running birds in the world.
They use their strong legs to run up to 45 miles per hour.
At the zoo, you can watch them walk or run around.
Isn't that amazing?
Here's a fun kangaroo.
Kangaroos live in Australia and are famous for hopping on their strong legs.
They also carry their babies, called joeys, in pouches.
You might see them hopping or resting in the zoo.
Can you hop like a kangaroo?
Look, it's a panda.
Pandas love to eat bamboo, and they spend a lot of their time munching on it.
Pandas are black and white and have a cute round face.
At the zoo, you might see them relaxing or climbing trees.
Isn't their fur so soft?
Here's a flamingo.
Flamingos are known for their beautiful pink feathers.
Did you know that flamingos get their color from the food they eat, like shrimp and algae?
Flamingos also love to stand on one leg.
Can you stand like a flamingo?
Look at this snake.
Snakes don't have legs, but they can slither really fast.
Some snakes are harmless, but others need to be handled carefully.
At the zoo, you can see snakes in glass enclosures, and they might be coiled up or moving around.
Meet the playful monkey.
Monkeys love to climb and swing from tree to tree.
They are very curious and like to explore everything around them.
At the zoo, you might see monkeys swinging on ropes or playing with each other.
Can you pretend to be a monkey?
Here's a rhinoceros or rhino.
Rhinos are strong and have thick skin to protect them.
They also have big horns on their noses.
Rhinos like to wallow in mud to keep cool, especially in hot weather.
What do you think? Isn't that a cool way to stay cool?
Look at these penguins.
Penguins are birds that can't fly, but they are excellent swimmers.
They use their wings like flippers to glide through the water.
At the zoo, you can see them waddling on land and diving into the water.
Can you waddle like a penguin?
Wow, a peacock.
Peacocks are famous for their colorful tail feathers that they fan out to impress others.
When you see them at the zoo, they may spread their feathers to show off.
Let's pretend to be peacocks with our arms.
Here's a slow-moving turtle.
Turtles have strong shells to protect them from danger.
They are calm animals that like to take their time moving around.
At the zoo, you might see turtles swimming in water or resting on the land.
Let's move slowly like a turtle.
