Staff Sgt. Renée Bennett wrote this heartfelt love song, Brought You to Me, when she and her husband, Staff Sgt. Joey Bennett, were about to PCS (move through a Permanent Change of Station) from Fort Eustis to Fort Bliss while he was serving, but before she herself enlisted. When asked what this song means to her, she responded, "We meet people and move to places and we find things to love. And then we have to say goodbye and open ourselves up to new people and experiences. So I held up what brought me those things in the first place. Because through everything else I was feeling, I had this strong comfort in knowing that these choices added up to Joey and me continuing to forge a life together."
