We're at Santa Anita Racetrack in Southern California. It's about 15 to 20 minutes
northeast of downtown Los Angeles. This is a pretty famous racetrack. It was founded way back
in 1904 and they still have races to this day that you can bet on. But it's Memorial Day weekend and
it's Sunday and today is a very special day because we have the Summer Corgi Nationals,
which we're going to check out. We're going to find and look for all these little critters,
take lots of pictures and have a lot of fun. There's also carnivals,
beer and food. Let's have a little bit of fun.
I'm super hungry so let's grab a quick bite at the barbecue and then we'll head to the races.
Uh, the chicken? One chicken plate? Yeah, chicken plate. Okay, got the barbecue. There's a bunch of
stuff you can get. Make sure you pick up your script. These are five dollars each and then
you use the script to get the food. So I got an island style barbecue chicken. There we go. It's
kind of small but not bad. Island dipping sauce. Not too spicy. It's like chili sauce. It's pretty
good. A little sweet. Nice barbecue taste. They only gave me one napkin and I had to use it to
clean the table because people are such pigs. Now I don't have a napkin. So if you're here,
ask for extra napkins. And you got your barbecue ribs, a little sauce and a little bread. Hey buddy.
Let's try this mac and cheese. Not bad. It's creamy but I would expect a little bit more
cheesy taste. Probably pass on the mac and cheese. I gotta look for a different side.
So the barbecue wasn't bad. I wouldn't say any of it was really amazing. It was decent. If you don't
want barbecue, there's a collection of food trucks but you do need a wristband. All right, let's check
little late. So let's take a walk for a bit. Then we'll come back earlier and watch another race.
How furry and fuzzy is he? Let's go check out the food trucks. We got veggie hoagies. Philly steak
All right, that's a pretty good selection. You got burgers, tacos, korean sushi burrito, which is a
new thing I guess. It's getting popular. Cheese steak and there's veggie options. Also if you have
kids, there's a carnival. You either pay per ticket or get a wristband for 30 bucks. It's
going to keep the kids entertained. Plenty going on. It's all your souvenir corner as well.
His name is oreo cookie. All right, finally got a good spot.
So make sure you show up about 15 minutes before the race so you can be up front.
He loves to swim in the ocean.
You got the nice mountains in the back. Oh my god, those glasses.
Okay, if you join, if you go into the beer festival, it's $45.
You get six tasters. They're five ounces each. Comes with this cute little cup.
And then you can also get a five dollar voucher to gamble, which I didn't know.
So I'm gonna have to bet on horses. Two coast. Yeah, I'll take that one. All right, I got my five
ounce. It's spilling everywhere. Holy shit. They fill that up to the top. It's from Two Coast Brewing,
which I think the guys are from Hamburg, but Kroos is from Cologne. It's pretty good, pretty smooth.
All right, let's try the Dry Hopped Pilsner. I had a lot of caffeine this morning. I had a big
ass coffee. I'm like shaking. Now I'm having beer in the afternoon. Actually, this one's pretty good.
Yeah, it's nice and smooth. I like that one.
By the way, they do have horse races going on while you're here.
The corgi races are in the middle by the carnival, and then the regular horse races
are happening as well. By the way, it's super hot today. It was overcast this morning. So bring
your sunscreen, bring a hat, bring your sunglasses. As you can see, I didn't do any of that, so I'm
gonna be paying for that later. Well, that's it. It's time to say goodbye to all these cute little
critters. Hope you enjoyed the video as much as we enjoyed our time here. Don't forget to
like and subscribe, and check out some of my other videos. See you guys next time.
