Does the 2025 Nissan Rogue SV Premium Package have the most value?

[Applause] so with the price of vehicles drastically Rising it's important to compare needs versus wants know which packages have the most value so you aren't spending your hard earned money for no reason this is the middle package of the Nissan Rogues there's an SL and a platinum model above this so this is kind of right in the middle of the trim levels it's going to have a Canadian MSRP of 42 860 for all my American friends out there I believe the MSRP is 35280 for this premium package now the reason why I say does this have the most value or is this the one with the most value the Platinum package is approaching 50,000 so I feel you can save some money this really has basically everything you need we had to turn the lights on to show you here this one comes with full LED headlights you have the LED daytime running lights at as well now the front end was changed a little bit in 2024 you can see a little bit different styling with this kind of slatted out Nissan B motion Grill and the sensor is here this one's going to come with a few features like your intelligent cruise control there's a sensor here and that's where your Nissan propilot assist gorgeous blue here color this one comes in the Caspian blue exterior color when you go up to this premium package you do get n 18in aluminum alloy rims it's a two-tone rim and you have front and rear disc brakes this one comes with silver roof rails and nice Chrome throughout the roof rails you have your remote keyless entry here which you can enter and lock the car you can see my turn signals are right on the mirror and there is a camera on all four sides now it does come with the power lift gate there's parking sensors here obviously a back up camera and come check out the trunk here guys I'm saying you're fitting maybe four dead bodies in this if you stack them correctly there's a little bit of storage underneath here this is your privacy cover which you can remove and those seats are going to drop down pretty easily you know you do the Ia thing slide them right on through now guys we're going to take this thing for a drive and check out the inside before we do make sure you guys subscribe appointed seats so bit more comfortable helps keep them clean a little easier we got a 10-way power adjustable driver's seat and look at this guys with the electric shifter knob you have so much space for storage under here that's one thing I like about it big Center stack lots of leather throughout the interior now there's a few features you get with this premium package in the back here first things first you get the nice sun shade here that's going to kind of protect you from the UV rise keep the car car cool if in the summertime that leather that you get really continues through the back and you have heated seats back here you can turn those on and you have heated seats so there is a lot of value with that premium package I would move up to the premium package just for the leather seating alone now the SVS come with this sunroof here you can choose to get it with a moon roof or you can choose no moon roof and then when you go up to this premium package obviously you get the full panoramic MC moon roof which is going to let a lot of light in the car very cool just gives you a bit more head space as well so you can see here it does have the digital temperature control the Dual syn so I got it set to 31 uh once I hit Auto the fans are going to come on full blast to start warming the car up just like the thermostat in your house it will do it automatically I'm just going to turn the fans down now we have heated seats heated steering wheel push button start two USB DC and then there's a little storage space for your phone right here 7 in touchcreen on here Apple carplay Android auto is all compatible this one comes with this around view monitor here so you have the camera on all four sides you have the backup camera you can see here if I'm parallel parking I can do the parallel there's a wide angle and there is the rear so it will really help you kind of guide into the lines there and when you put it in drive or Park it's going to show your front angle here and then you have the smaller screen behind the wheel here this is for um like all your settings you have your digital speedometer you can do your fuel economy tire pressure monitor radio and your propilot assist right on the screen now let's check out the key of the Nissan Rogue this one has the remote Stu start the lock the unlock the power lift gate and your panic button so little chilly out here today it's about 3° in Niagara Ontario so we're going to use the remote starter you can start up the car as you can see just get the Heat going and get it warmed up by the time you jump in to drive so the engine is the same in all Nissan Rogues you get the 1.53 cylinder engine with a turbo it does have that Nissan variable compression turbo which has actually been offered from Nissan for a long time it has a 0 to 60 in 8 seconds so not too bad and they've really improve the fuel mileage with the turbo it's 7.7 L per every 100 km combined or 30 mpg so very happy with the power plan it does take off very well does have the CVT transmission Nissan has fixed claimed they fixed their CVT only time will tell I feel like if they botch the CVT one more time it might really have jeopardize like the future of the company or the reputation but they've said they've upgraded the CVT this one comes with a leather wrapped wheel it is a heated wheel so it's been pretty chilly out there today so we're happy to have the heated wheel overall the Rogue is a smooth drive how it just accelerates and how it takes the bumps it's a little more comfortable on those long trips you don't feel as uh as Tiny as you would in some of the other Nissan competitors like uh like the Nissan kicks this specific Nissan Rogue the SV premium package is probably the one that I would choose if I were purchasing the Nissan Rogue it has everything you need it has the leather I really really like this electric shifter knob a lot of people question it but once you get the hang of it it really is a convenient feature and it just frees up more space here in the center stack really the only thing this car is missing that um I've gotten used to is the wireless charger but I found in the other Rogues when I put my phone on the wireless charger it slides around and moves around and my phone doesn't charge correctly so I could just plug my phone in use it the USBs this one will tow 1,500 lb so if you guys are Towing you can't tow much but it does kind of have the ability to tow small items paddle shifters as well right behind the wheel so if you like that you can put it in sport mode and use the paddle shifters might help also if you're kind of stuck in the snow and you will get the idle start stop so it's going to shut down while your idling a lot of people say that's going to deteriorate the starter and things like that I'm not sure if that's true if anybody has some facts about that please fact check me in the comments I don't know um I'm assuming if they put these features in the cars they've really tested them and they're not going to jeopardize breaking a starter system that adds uh a little feature in the car but thank you so much for watching guys and if
