Word on the street is that "Babylon" is one of the wildest movies to drop this year — and with raging Hollywood parties, orgies and even a rattlesnake, it definitely lives up to its reputation as it traces the unbridled decadence and depravity of early Hollywood. So, we got two of its leads, Margot Robbie (who plays Nellie) and Diego Calva (who plays Manny), to answer your burning questions about the film. "Babylon" is out in cinemas now.

And he kissed you?
Yes.
You got kissed?
Are you blushing?
A little right now.
Yeah.
Hi, I'm Margot Robbie.
And I'm Diogo Calva.
We're here with BuzzFeed Australia to answer your burning questions about Babylon.
Exactly that.
Now, Diego, some of my favourite lines in the movie were when you slip back into Spanish,
you know, when you were stressed.
Margot, did you pick up any Spanish swear words behind the scenes?
And likewise, Diego, any Australian slang words from Margot?
Cabrón?
Yeah.
I'd hear that one a lot.
And I was like, I don't know what that is, but I know you're saying a swear word there.
And also te amo.
Te amo.
As many times as he would swear at Nelly, he'd also tell her he loved her.
Te amo, te amo, te amo.
Slang?
Aussies.
Aussies, yeah.
Aussies.
He was like, Aussies.
And I'm like, no, it's gonna be Aussies.
And it's like, nobody's talking about Aussie Osbourne here.
Aussies.
I love that answer.
Yeah.
Now, there are so many wild moments in Babylon.
We have elephant diarrhea, rattlesnakes, projectile vomiting, orgies.
Which scene was the hardest to keep a straight face while you were filming?
Well, when Nelly is having all these situations with the food and all the vomiting.
Manny has to have this face like, that was hard.
I kept wanting to laugh when we were in the car and he was driving.
Manny's so stressed out by that point.
Like, it's that breaking point and Nelly's just, you know, high.
Is that when Nelly's standing up?
Yeah, standing up.
She's like, let's dance!
And like, covers his eyes and all that kind of stuff.
I mean, that stuff I was actually just cackling with laughter.
Because I found it so funny to watch Diego be at such a stress level.
I was loving it.
Can you give us some insight into some of the props used for those wild scenes?
So when you see cocaine in movies, it's normally vitamin B powder.
Or...
Ketamine.
Or cocaine.
No, no, no.
Or if you're not going to actually be ingesting it, it might be icing sugar.
Or baby laxatives sometimes.
They do powdered baby laxatives.
Does it hurt to snort?
Yeah, it's not nice.
No, it's not nice.
And also your cigarettes.
Cigarettes smell weird.
Like tobacco.
Yeah, so I've never smoked a real cigarette.
But I was chain smoking these fake cigarettes that don't have nicotine in them.
They're herbal cigarettes.
But they smell terrible.
And they taste awful.
Yeah, I was just chain smoking them because I needed to have a raspy voice as Nelly.
So I was just always like...
You learn a new thing every day.
Now, we're such an A-list cast that both alike.
So Toby McGuire, Brad Pitt, Gene Smart.
Who were you most star-struck over working with?
There was a lot of people to be excited to meet.
Like every day you'd go to work, you'd be like,
Ooh, I get to see so-and-so at work.
I mean, I was excited to meet Flea, to be honest.
I grew up watching all the Spike Jonze videos for skateboarder brands.
So when I realized that I wanted to work with him,
I was like, okay, my friends are going to be like, damn.
And he kissed you?
Yes.
You got kissed by Spike Jonze.
Are you blushing?
A little right now.
Yeah.
Actually, he's the only one that I asked for an autograph.
I don't have anyone's autograph.
I have never asked anyone.
And every time I'm like, I wish I had the courage to ask.
I'm really going to regret one day.
I bought a skateboard, like a toy with two fingers.
Did you do it?
Yeah, of course.
Imagine if he said no.
No.
Now, if you could play another character in Babylon, who would it be and why?
I will be Nelly.
You would be a wonderful Nelly.
I will try it.
Could you do the rattlesnake scene?
I will try it, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Who wants to see me fight a fucking snake?
Fuck yeah!
Honestly, I think it's a role of a lifetime.
It is a role of a lifetime.
I will try it.
I could not do Mammy.
What you do in this movie is like so, so much.
You carry so much.
You do so much with your face.
Maybe Jean Smart's character.
Yeah, that would be cool.
Eleanor would be, I'd like to play Eleanor.
She's got great one-liners, you know.
I love it when she goes, she's on the hillside, she goes,
I knew Proust, you know.
It's my favourite line.
I have to work still in my Nelly impression.
No, I'm not going to try it right now.
You saved it, you saved it.
Where do you say we come in for my close-up now?
