2023 Summer Corgi Nationals at Santa Anita Park! FINAL RACE...who is the CORGI CHAMPION

Ladies and gentlemen, we continue with the Corgis. Here's Giorgio. Back and ready. This is the final race for the championship. Let's meet our field. It starts with number one. Lil' Chip. Lil' Chip loves eating chips and he got ready for this. Chasing ice cream trucks around. Number two is going to be Willie, who gets the zoomies every time he eats. He's raring to go. Number three is Tony, who won the first compete. He's two to one to take it down like Ironman. Number four is Pippa, the largest dog we got out here. Number five is Mr. Finley, eight to one. Number six is Diggie, also eight to one. Number six is Diggie. Number seven is Morris. Number eight, the Paw Parati is out for our six to five favorite, Emmett. Number nine is Kirby, who will eat anything, apparently, and on the outside, Oliver is 30 to one, going to try to spring the upset. Let's get ready as they start getting. How about the crowd? Let's hear a roar from the crowd. Yeah, I love it. We love having the Corgis here. And right now they're starting to load into the gate for this. The championship race. Emmett, six to five. Second favorite is Tony at two to one. Lil Chips on the inside is your third choice at three to one. They're starting to get ready to load into the gate for the finale, the big finale, the championship. One of these is going to take home a beautiful trophy. And there's the trophy right there. Oh, Danny, beautiful trophy. All right, start loading them into the gate. The excitement is building. They're all set. On your mark, get set, go. There they go. And here is Pippa taking the lead on the inside. Lil Chips. And here is Emmett. Emmett wins once again. The big favorite takes it down. Emmett is the winner. Rating champ Emmett gets the win. He won last year. He won again. We're going to put the kibble in the cup. How are you feeling, Emmett? All right, I'm feeling really good right now. How does it feel to have the rating champ here? Great. It feels like we're at home. Did you train him any differently to last year? Oh, no. Throwing the ball past us when he got to the line. So he didn't slow up at the end. Do you think you could make any one of these corgis faster? Are you the master trainer? I don't think so. I think just this one is fast. Well, congratulations. Emmett wins again. The Corgi Nationals. Let's hear it for Emmett.
