Come on Loïc!
It's been a long time since I've seen you.
It's good to see you again.
How was it?
It was good.
No way, actually?
Yeah!
Oh my god, sick. I didn't know.
Yeah, then...
Apart from that, I was really happy with today's performance.
We have a bad spell on the downhill world at the moment.
Every World Cup, we see conditions change on the last minute.
So it's quite difficult to deliver proper race runs.
Push and race really hard.
But in these conditions, I'm really proud of my performance and my team.
We try to stay confident.
And we were, so...
Thank you.
So I'm super happy.
Yeah, put that hat on.
Keep everyone happy now.
Loïc, we've loved the battles that you've had,
especially with you and Henri Piron.
Were you aware of what happened with him just before you ran?
Yeah, actually, my mechanic,
one minute and a half before I dropped in to show me the screen,
Henri crashed six seconds down.
So I was pretty lifted up over some pressure
because he's an absolute danger man in these conditions.
So it kind of released a bit of pressure.
And, yeah, he's the best competitor.
He's so strong. He's so consistent.
And...
But today, we did good.
How much did you have to mix things up
in terms of your line choices from yesterday?
Heaps of changes.
There was a lot of holes, a lot of ruts.
So most of the lines were destroyed.
So you had to look really far
and try and anticipate the grip,
which was different from everything we've seen
because even when it was really wet the first days,
it wasn't this kind of wet.
So it was a new kind of ride
and a struggle bus.
But I tried to pull all the triples,
tried to have fun.
The crowd was still pretty amazing.
So I can't complain. I'm really happy.
Thank you.
You had a heartbreak last weekend at the World Championships,
but how much did that set the fire,
a light in your tummy to go and do that today?
For sure, moments like last week,
a little bit tough to swallow.
I was feeling amazing and didn't deliver.
So I knew if I could put on the side
the negativity of failing,
I could keep the riding pretty solid.
And this weekend, I think I showed
that the pace is real. It's good.
And even on wet conditions,
we are not too shabby.
So let's keep it up.
One more World Cup and one of my favorite tracks.
And holidays.
Well done. Congratulations, Loïc.
Thank you.
But still, a good job.
Protecting the points for the general.
The European champion.
In black, his jersey and his colors.
Today in Lille-en-Ville, the European champion
showing the colors here in Lille-en-Ville.
And a good run for Andy over the last two weeks here.
And there he is in third place.
Third place.
Once again, a great performance
by our Austrian.

Ladies and gentlemen,
for your applause today,
the winner is the gentlemen.
Congratulations, gentlemen.
In a few moments,
our leader of the World Cup
will be here.
A total score of 6-0
for another type of champion
of the season.
As we know how to do it here in Lille-en-Ville,
give it up for Roy Kemmerle!
