Hey guys, welcome back to the channel. Well with Christmas right around the corner, I thought that
this would be the perfect time to share my top 10 gardening tools that I absolutely cannot live
without. So these tools make fantastic gifts for the gardener in your life or even for yourself.
And we're talking planting essential tools that make garden maintenance a breeze. And don't worry,
I've added links in the description below to all of these tools so that you can check
them out for yourselves and maybe even cross off a few gifts off your holiday list. So let's dive
right in. Well, let's start with a good pair of gardening gloves. So gardening gloves are
absolutely essential for protecting your hands from thorns, dirt, and especially pesky insects.
Look for gloves that are durable yet flexible so that you can still handle small tasks like
planting seeds or tying plants. And bonus points if they're waterproof for those muddy garden days.
Next we have the humble hand trowel. And this small but mighty tool is an absolute lifesaver
for planting, digging, even scooping soil into smaller pots. I use mine for everything from
transplanting my seedlings to weeding around my raised garden beds. A good quality hand trowel
like this one is durable and it has a comfortable grip and can tackle tough, compacted soil without
bending. If there's one tool to keep by your side at all times, this is definitely it.
Well, when it comes to planting seeds, I love having a dibber. So let me tell you,
this takes all the guesswork out of measuring how deep to plant your seeds and bulbs and it
also aids in spacing as well. It creates perfectly sized holes in the soil with ease,
making sure that your seeds are at the right depth every single time. And this is especially
helpful in raised garden beds where spacing and precision are key. Plus it saves so much
time when planting rows of seeds. So if you tend to struggle with overwatering or underwatering
your plants, then my next tool is essential for you. The trusty soil moisture meter is a must
have tool for any gardener really. And not only does it take the guesswork out of watering by
showing you exactly how much moisture is in your soil, but they also make these in a three-in-one
soil tester that can also aid in checking your soil pH and your light exposure. I mostly use
it to prevent overwatering and underwatering since this is one of my biggest challenges,
but it's a great tool all around for all gardeners to help them keep their plants happy and thriving.
Well next let's talk about pruners. A good pair of pruners is indispensable in the garden and
it will keep your plants healthy and tidy. They're great for trimming overgrown plants
and harvesting fruits and vegetables. And Falco pruners are known for their sharp durable blades
and ergonomic design making them comfortable and easy to use even for extended periods of time.
And they also stay sharp longer and cut through tough branches with ease.
And trust me once you've tried these you will never look back.
Well mesh bags are an absolute must for protecting your harvest from pests and I use them on my
peppers, tomatoes, and cucumbers to keep the bugs and the birds away while still allowing airflow.
They're also reusable and lightweight and such a simple solution for preserving your hard-earned
crops. So now that we've talked about some of the small yet very important gardening tools,
it is nice to have a garden caddy to keep everything organized and within reach while
I'm working in the garden. So mine is made by GardenLine and it holds all of my essentials
like my pruners, gloves, garden ties, and even a water bottle will fit in here. It's lightweight
and easy to carry around and perfect for staying efficient while hopping between garden beds.
Well we all know gardening can be tough on your knees and your back which is why a garden
kneeler or pad is an absolute must. It gives you a comfortable surface to kneel on while you're
planting or weeding and many kneelers nowadays even double as a seat so you can get a quick
break. But trust me your knees and your back will thank you. This is an absolute must.
Now this Fiskars pop-up trash can is a lifesaver during cleanup whether you're cleaning out your
weeds, pruning plants, or collecting fallen leaves and it holds everything and folds flat when it's
not in use. And I love how lightweight and portable it is. It makes carrying all your
debris across your yard super easy. Now if you're serious about gardening a Gorilla Cart is a game
changer. And unlike a traditional wheelbarrow this cart is super easy to maneuver and it has a
way higher capacity for carrying heavy loads like soil, compost, your garden tools. It's sturdy,
it doesn't tip over easily, and it has a really nice dumping feature which makes unloading
effortless. I honestly don't know how I ever managed without it before.
And there you have it my top 10 gardening tools that I simply can't live without.
And whether you're looking to gift the gardener in your life or upgrade your own tool collection
these are guaranteed to make your gardening journey a lot easier and more enjoyable.
