🇦 Isaac Cooper Shows The Swim-Speed Needed At The #50mBackstroke at Swimming World Cup 2024 🌊🥇

Away in the 50 backstroke final. The action's been impressive and Cooper needs to execute everything here if he wants to take the gold. So the green cap of Cooper in front. 11-0. That's a quick opening, 25 metres. Watch for Germany underwater. Carter as well, second from the top. Big turn from Sikowski but Isaac Cooper's moving through now and he's going to take the win. 22-61, not far off his own World Cup record. Kotsia second. Sikowski had a big turn to touch third there as well. He's very pleased with that one is Isaac Cooper. Plenty of Australians in the stands tonight here in Singapore. And that's his second gold medal in this event out of the three stops. He had a few mistakes in his race last week. He's just erased those. Again, his swim speed is better than anybody else in the world over this distance. And the shortest man in this field takes the gold medal.
