Hi friends and welcome to day 10 of your 30-day meditation.
Let's just take a few moments here to find a comfortable position today.
And that may be sitting upright on your mat, that may be sitting on a block,
maybe lying down on a bolster or pillow, utilizing a blanket to either sit on or cover yourself in.
Whichever way honors your body today, follow that, listen to that, and just be sure that
you're able to fully relax, decompress in this posture for the next 10 to 15 minutes.
Now let's find a nice deep inhalation through the nose,
and a long open mouth exhalation. One more inhalation through the nose,
nice and full, and open mouth exhalation. Now finding a bear hug, squeeze your shoulders
together, bring them up by your ears, give yourself a big hug here, deep breath in,
and on your exhale gently release your grip down, rolling your shoulders down your back,
releasing any grip, and just let your arms and palms melt down by your sides,
or just rest softly on your knees. And as you begin to settle into this space today,
you may find comfort in placing one hand on your heart and one hand on your belly.
You may even choose to place both hands on your heart,
allowing your gaze to begin to soften, maybe closing your eyelids all together,
allowing them to feel heavier, and relaxing your face completely,
relaxing your brows, removing your tongue from the roof of your mouth,
sending some space in between your teeth, and then sealing your lips together,
fully relaxing your jaw, no emotion on your face,
and taking a moment to really connect with yourself, center with yourself,
finding your heartbeat, that rhythm of life within you,
recognizing that your belly is naturally expanding and contracting,
and just exploring this moment of peace and quiet, stillness, silence, you and your breath as one.
I'm finding another inhale to fill your lungs with fresh cool air,
sending your breath all the way down into your belly, and then exhale,
melting your shoulders further down your back while exhaling any stale air out here,
simply bringing awareness to your existence in this space at this time,
and just thanking yourself for once again taking a few moments of time for yourself.
On this next inhale, we'll hold the breath for five counts, so finding a deep inhale,
five, four, three, two, and one open mouth exhale, release it out here.
It's such a beautiful, beautiful thing to love and care for yourself,
and to respect yourself enough to find or create time like this.
You can slowly release your hands down to your knees or by your side. You may find that your
palms face up or down, and let's begin. Remember that this time is for you, and you alone.
You don't need to do anything. Your only job is to relax.
Truly allow yourself to have this time. Breathe in deeply, and exhale fully.
Breathe in deeply again,
and exhale fully.
Allow the stillness of the space to calm your mind.
Breathe in,
and exhale.
You may notice some internal chatter, some noisy thoughts.
These things happening,
and these things happening inside your mind, are totally and completely normal.
You'll find that these thoughts will begin to quiet down as you send your concentration
to your breath, to this music, maybe even to my voice,
or even to focusing on attempting to hear your heartbeat.
As you begin to listen more deeply and become the watcher of this experience,
you'll find that your mind gently becomes more and more quiet.
Let's find another deep breath in, and a full, relaxing exhale.
Breathing in the cool, refreshing air, and exhaling any warm, tense, stale air.
Let's find another deep inhale,
and a full exhale as you find your body coming more and more into a relaxing state.
Another deep inhale,
and a full, complete exhale.
As you feel your body beginning to fall deeper and deeper into a more relaxing state.
Let's begin to bring your body
further into this deep sense of relaxation, softening the body,
tapping into the energy that already exists within you.
Just allow yourself to be in total peace with your surroundings.
As I count to five, you'll begin to find your inhale,
and as I count back down to one, you will exhale.
Finding an inhale here for one, two, three, four,
five, and exhaling for five, four, three, two, one. Again, inhaling for one, two, three, four,
five, and exhaling for five, four, three, two, and one.
Last inhale for one, two, three, four, five, and final exhale for five,
four, three, two, and one. Just find a normal breath here, breathing in your stillness,
and begin to bring your awareness back to your breath.
Finding these soft inhales and exhales,
and with your eyes closed, you can gently begin to turn your head side to side,
and maybe you even find a few neck rolls if that's comfortable.
And then bringing your palms together to your forehead to remind yourself that your mind is the
most powerful and intuitive part of you. Everything begins with a thought,
and from there, your words are formed. Your thoughts can manifest into your physical body,
and bringing your palms to your lips to remind yourself
to speak positively to others, and even more importantly, positively to yourself.
Gentle words bring life and health, but a deceitful tongue crushes the spirit.
And now bringing your hands to your heart to remind yourself that we love others,
because God first loved us.
You are loved. You have a purpose. You have a reason for your existence here on earth.
You are not a fluke. You are not a mistake. You're not a coincidence. You are fearfully
and wonderfully made, and you are forgiven and only human.
You may flutter your eyes open. Thank you, friends, for joining me in our meditation today.
I pray that you feel empowered, relaxed, but more importantly, know that you are so
blessed and can laugh without fear of the future. I'll see you tomorrow. Bye!
