So adorable This is the kind of book that you would do Hi guys, welcome back or welcome to my channel My name is brianna and this week i'm going to take you through my post-exam routines my cleaning and self-care rituals Actually start cooking again because I have time tell you about the books i'm reading and so much more So without further ado, let's get into the video So I also have whitening strips in right now because the self-care Is self-caring, okay Like i'm doing the whole shebang post-exam, but i've been trying to read for at least 15 minutes before bed But I want to share the two books that i'm currently reading This is the vegetarian by han kong Which is the first asian woman to win the nobel literature prize and I just have to say it is way more Graphic than I thought it was going to be which isn't a bad thing. It was just a bit of a surprise It obviously has beautiful prose This is the kind of book that you would do a literary analysis of and obviously won the literature prize So I don't even need to read with you guys about how good of a book it is And then the second book that I picked out that i'm super excited for as well Is sally rooney's newest book intermezzo and I actually got a signed copy. I'm very excited about that I thought that was really cute. I really wanted that This book is 437 pages and I really loved her other book that most people know her for which is normal people It's also a show. I actually haven't seen the show because apparently It would ruin me But yeah I'm going to get comfortable and read intermezzo because the vegetarian is too scary and I realized that it's been doing me nightmares for the Last three nights. I couldn't understand why I haven't been able to sleep and it's definitely because of this book So yeah, good morning guys. My hair is looking a little bit unruly today I need to wash it But first i'm headed out to the asian grocery store because I want to make pho today If you didn't know i'm half vietnamese half chinese So I grew up eating a lot of pho and I think it's perfect on a gloomy day like today As you can see there is not a single bit of blue sky showing I also have an event later tonight So we're going to glow up a little bit. But anyways, let's just go to the grocery store I would hope that my mom would have this to make the pho broth. I'm gonna try to get like an herb pack Dad can you read this? Yeah right there Okay I'm looking My dad's gonna watch this and be like brandon you bought the wrong spice bag But I wasn't gonna go to another store, but I looked at all the ingredients and it has everything that you need for pho I'm, just gonna char half an onion with these spices in a pan I'm gonna toast that for a little bit and then i'm blanching my beef shank The spices in this cloth bag so then you don't have to like strain your broth afterwards And so now this is clean water with the bone inside i'm gonna bring this to a boil I tried to char this onion, but I don't think I have the right pan and I don't want to ruin the non-stick coating So this is as much as we can get it and we're gonna throw that in with the spice bag, too Okay, this has been simmering for about 45 minutes and I should be taking this spice bag out soon But I just want to taste it a little bit before I adjust any of the seasonings and obviously the hardest part about cooking Is knowing what your dish needs. I do need to be sweeter. I love when contacts enlarge in your eye because I feel like they make you look doll-like Okay, i've just finished putting in both the tender brown and I think these are perfect for an everyday look because they're just natural enough I haven't tried the other pairs yet, but I think I already want to wear these today Now i'm trying on the color breeze, which is more of a metallic look It has star-shaped details and it's a bit cooler toned This contact is definitely more noticeable, but I think it's so cute in photos and when you're going out at night It also has a wider ring that enhances like the depth and dimension of the color contact Okay with both of these and I definitely look very different But I think they're super cute still and the next pair that i'm going to try out are the moon fishtail And the moon fishtail lenses actually have a unique sparkle detail resembling actual stars in your eyes It's also pretty noticeable that this one has a black border So it's enlarging it has that glowy center. So your eye still looks like very dolly These are also all beginner friendly and super comfortable You guys know I normally wear glasses and i'm putting in my third pair today and my eyes aren't irritated at all Okay, this is the final pair. I posted on my story saying that I got the breville And so I was asking people in toronto if they have a favorite roaster and they reached out to me and let me know that They do like a monthly subscription so I can try out a bunch of beans at like a discounted cost It comes with three of these info sheets that tells you all about their beans So this bag crystal taipica espresso, so the bean is from mexico But it was roasted in new brunswick and then this bean base camp espresso is from guatemala and brazil But it was roasted in calgary alberta and then there's tandem espresso and this one is from brazil and burundi but it was roasted in montreal quebec and then my last package Is from bearish you guys might have noticed that i've been wearing a lot of bras or bralettes around the house And it's because I got them from bearish when I was in korea and they are so comfortable and they also make you look really good Stop this is so cute. That is so adorable. Wait Wait, it says my name on it. It says brianna right here. I didn't even notice that Look at this and then this is the next compartment Oh my gosh Okay, so these are matching couples pajamas and they match my nails and everything and then they also gave a deck of cards and a bell So for context I was invited out by apple to learn all about ios 18.2 Which is now available on these devices try out a bunch of new features like apple intelligence And actually make a terrarium that I got to take home. So we're gonna roll that right now So one of the first things that I learned about was the new writing tools and siri capabilities So I was creating a two-day itinerary to mount fuji and fuji nomia And it is so cool because chat gpt is now built into the ios so you don't actually have to open it up on the web or anything and then I just copied and pasted this in and then I decided to highlight something and then just like keep trying out the writing tools Which you can see like there's a lot of and then I highlighted something and kept playing around with it And I thought this was really cool and then the next station we were building a terrarium given to us in the notes app because Apple intelligence is just built into the ios and this is my terrarium.
