3 Video Views·Dec 20, 2024
Two months, day by day, after the match against Lille,
L'Oreal meets Wolfsburg at the Park Güell,
this time without pressure, but with one goal in mind,
to score a free-kick in this group stage of the UEFA Women's Champions League
on the occasion of this 6th and last day.
And here we go, between L'Oreal, all dressed in white,
and Wolfsburg in this dark green jersey.
It's a great classic in the history of the UEFA Women's Champions League.
10th confrontation between these two previous winners,
already qualified for the quarter-finals,
and who will try to take a psychological ascent
for this last date in 2024.
A Noël who is deprived tonight of his best scorer, Melchi Dumornay.
Come on, Khadija Toudiani, this ball is good.
And it's a first corner in favor of the Fenotes.
Renard, who finds Oran perfectly,
a good rebound that will allow Shawinga
to perhaps be able to defy VD Meijer.
It's done, Shawinga in the surface, this ball,
and it's a new corner obtained by Malawit.
And it's finally Catherine Hendricks,
Damaris again,
and the ball to the head,
countered by Lince Oran.
It will be a new corner for L'Oreal
in this duel with Hendricks, the American,
who sees his ball, it was VD Meijer,
finally turned into a corner.
Intervention.
Giovanessa Gilles.
Ascension to this ball, in the depth,
for Endeman, and the good reading
by Christian Endler.
Egerberg, in relay, with Oran,
for Gianni in the surface,
Gianni's shot, in the arms,
from a sharp tail,
here it is, perhaps the first shot,
framed and a little bit
dangerous,
even if, frankly,
from Europe,
in title.
Otherwise, Barca would finish second,
and could be an opponent of L'Oreal in quarter.
Gilles,
excellent pressing,
Louvre who are rewarded,
even if this ball
was not precise enough
for VD Meijer.
And why not, this situation,
the ball doesn't go deep,
from Renard to Shawinga,
Shawinga again,
against VD Meijer.
Shawinga,
who is finally countered,
countered,
the Malawian.
But watch out for Egerberg,
he doesn't need much,
to the Norwegian,
with, again, Carpenter,
perhaps
for Egerberg,
but good shot,
from a sharp tail.
From this second period,
between L'Oreal and Wolfsburg,
a match of gala,
a match of prestige,
we are only missing goals,
enjoy yourselves, ladies,
in this second period,
the last 45 minutes,
before reaching 2025.
Watch out for this ball,
recovered by Diani,
for Carpenter,
in the surface,
Carpenter who can come in,
fixed.
Come on, Alexandra Popp,
who has a little space in front of her,
this ball coming back
with a bit of success,
on Kylande,
against Bachat.
Kylande in relay,
with Egerberg,
a turned shot,
which will end his race,
in corner,
for the Louvre.
The depth,
the good reading
of Vanessa Gil,
impeccable tackle,
from the Canadian.
Jöns Dautir,
against Bachat,
it is rarely passed,
in the first period,
this time,
it is passed,
Jöns Dautir,
and this ball coming back,
on Alexandra Popp,
and for Jöns Dautir,
again,
Gil's head,
that of
Amaris,
in a second time,
Bachat who can avoid
this ball,
to finish in corner,
for the Germans.
Kylande,
out,
with Kylande,
for Jöns Dautir.
To Popp,
finally,
Renard,
then Kylande,
again,
a try,
from Kylande,
here it is,
the first shot,
caught,
without worries,
for Tian Endler,
Bachat,
with Oran,
for the Brits,
precisely,
to Schawinga,
Schawinga who tries
to pass,
but this ball
is without danger,
for Borbe,
again,
the Danish for
Sommer,
and the ball
which was
maybe playable
for
Schawinga,
it was without counting
on the vigilance
once again,
of Borbe,
it wasn't
sufficiently
vicious,
Schawinga,
held by the arm,
could have
made a mistake,
why not,
on this new situation,
with Diani,
for Carpenter,
Diani again,
and the volley,
missed,
by Daniel Vande Donk,
it doesn't want to
smile tonight,
to score a new goal
in his young career
in the Champions League,
Diani who fixes,
Diani who passes,
Kadiatou Diani,
this ball,
to Vicky Béchamp,
here it is,
the opening of the score,
it's finally
Daniel Vande Donk
who kicks this ball
in the 6 meters,
a ball slightly
deflected
by VD Meijer,
it doesn't matter
who touches this ball
last year,
what is sure
is that it's Loel
who passes in front,
10 minutes from the end,
1-0
for the Lyonnais.
Will she find
a teammate
at the fall
of this ball,
well no,
and a situation
of counter,
with Birenstein,
the Dutch woman
who faces
Renard
and Damaris
manages to do it,
a few more minutes
to hold
for the Lyonnais
before going on holiday,
but who knows,
watch out,
to Jule Brandt,
this shot,
it was well gone,
the shot of Jule Brandt,
just next
to the straight rise
defended by
Christian Händler,
it was going well
and finally
this external trajectory
to Svava,
this ball in the surface
coming back
to Birenstein,
this time
the cover
is impeccable
from the captain
of Loel,
congratulations.
And it's over,
Loel
gets a
6th victory
in 6 days
of group phase
of the UFA Women's Champions League
for the players of
Joe Montemiro
who are winning
1-0
against Wolfsburg,
a goal scored
at the 81st minute
of the game
by Daniel Vande Donk.
Loel
finishes this year
2024
undefeated
and can go
on holiday
before finding
this Champions League
in 2025.
Let's go
to the quarter-finals
for the Lyonnais.
