New DRUGSTORE MAKEUP Speed Reviews: Did They Nail It or Fail It? 🎯

Hi guys, today I'm going to do a quick review of new drugstore makeup products.
I have some news from Milani.
Colourpop, Covergirl, Maybelline.
There's a lot to discover today and these are not the first impressions.
I've already tried everything and I definitely have some ideas to share with you.
So, let's go ahead and get started right away.
Heat, heat.
Well, guys.
So, first of all, I have two new eyebrow gels.
We have one from Milani.
This is called Stape Put Brown Mousse.
And then I also have a new one from Maybelline called Super Fluff Brown Mousse.
So, let's start with Maybelline's one.
I bought it in two shades because I wasn't sure which one I would have liked the most.
And this promises to give fluffy, rigid and resistant eyebrows,
proof of scales, soft and lasting all day long.
It should have this innovative mousse formula and a soft brush.
And it is available in six different shades.
So, it should spread on the eyebrows' hairs for a natural volumized look.
So, I'm a little uncertain about this.
I used it on the eyebrows today.
And when I tried it, I noticed that the color stuck to the skin under the eyebrows.
So, it created that diffuse effect while filling in any empty spots.
And while this made my eyebrows fuller for sure,
the result was not as defined as I prefer.
It had a kind of soft blended effect and made my eyebrows less structured.
So, I think it would work well for someone who likes a softer and more natural look
with eyebrows.
But for me, since I have thinner eyebrows,
I feel like I really have to fill them in with an eyebrow pen.
And this really fills the eyebrows quickly and immediately gives a very full look.
So, you don't have to spend a lot of time creating the individual hairs,
but on the other hand, it sacrifices that more realistic look of natural hairs,
which I personally prefer.
So, overall, it's not a bad eyebrow product,
but I think it depends on what you want to get.
If you like the idea of a diffuse eyebrow quickly,
or if you already have very full eyebrows and you just want to add a little volume and a little color,
I think this would be absolutely perfect.
If you are a person like me who has thinner or rougher eyebrows and prefer a more defined look,
you might not want to replace your eyebrow pen or pencil.
After using it today, I still had to use my NYX pen
and fill things up a bit and clean up the edges and make everything look a little less messy.
But I must say that as far as the hold is concerned, it has a really good hold
and has kept my eyebrows in position all day in the few days I have worn it so far.
So, I like this look.
Emm, but as far as the Milan one is concerned,
this claims to be a formula in mousse that gives colored,
bold and disciplined eyebrows that last up to 16 hours.
It contains carité bullo, jojoba seed oil and pantanol.
And it should simply give you naturally more voluminous eyebrows and a healthier look in a light and flawless formula.
So, in my experience, when I used it, I had the feeling that it kept some of the statements,
but then it came less in a key area for me.
So, the formula is very light.
It doesn't fall apart.
I had the feeling that it applied very easily.
It gave my eyebrows a little tint without sticking to the underlying skin as Maybelline does.
So, I had the feeling that this really stayed on the eyebrows
and I had the feeling that this made the look cleaner and more polished.
Also, I had the feeling that it was nutritious.
It didn't make my eyebrows feel stiff or hard or crunchy,
but I had the feeling that the hold was very disappointing on this.
It is one of those softer and more top formulas that is really cheerful.
So, I found out that after using it, I looked at the mirror about two hours later and this eyebrow was already falling.
It just didn't keep the hairs on as well as Maybelline's.
So, if you are a person like me whose eyebrows grow sideways and don't stay on very easily and you need a really strong hold,
I don't think this can offer you that.
And for me, it was disappointing because one of the main affirmations of this product is that it lasts for 16 hours.
And personally I didn't think it was like that.
So, I think it would work really well for someone who already has beautiful eyebrows and, you know, doesn't need a lot of hold.
You just want to comb them a little and add a little color and a very very soft hold.
But if you are like me and you need something that really fixes your eyebrows, I don't think this is the right product.
Well, the next one.
Milani has a brand new foundation in stick.
It's called Conceal & Perfect Blur Out Skin Tint Stick.
So, it is marketed as a light and modular skin tint with a natural matte soft finish and additional benefits for skin care.
It contains mulberry, vitamin A and guava fruit extract and should nourish and moisturize the skin,
offering at the same time a second skin aspect.
So, I took the shade number 2, light, which I think is a little too light for me.
And I'm wearing it today in the video.
I've worn it a couple of other times too, so at this point I have a good idea of what I'm thinking.
And when I tried it the first time, I used my fingers to blend it.
I usually do this with foundation in stick because I think the point is that they should be a quick and easy thing to use.
So, I found out that the statements were true in terms of consistency.
It is very light, it is thinner than most cream formulas, which I think are usually heavier.
The coverage is very, very transparent, similar to a traditional skin tint, but only in stick.
And it's perfect for, I think, people who just want a look without makeup or if they just want to slightly even out the tone of the skin.
It won't give you a lot of coverage.
I would say that it is a transparent coverage at most.
I know the description says it can reach up to medium.
I didn't really find it that way.
It seems to me that it is more on the transparent or light side.
So, I used it again today.
This time, I applied it with a brush just to try to get a little more coverage.
So, I used the Nikkie Pink BK Beauty brush.
This is the N17.
And another thing I like about this is that the formula is really creamy and moisturizing.
Which is a big advantage for me because I have the feeling that most stick foundations can tend a little to the dry side.
They tend to have a more matte finish and a slightly dusty look.
This gives a very natural finish similar to skin.
It is not excessively rough, but even if they said it is a soft matte finish, it simply imitates the appearance of real skin.
So, I think it's absolutely beautiful in terms of finish it has.
It is also very easy to apply and blend.
So, I think it's great for anyone who is always in motion.
If you want to apply something very quickly, but you are a person who prefers at least medium or full coverage, I think you can easily skip it.
It is very transparent and even when I tried to layer it, it layered slightly, but not up to medium coverage.
Like, if I look in the mirror, I still see all my sun marks.
In reality it only attenuated the redness and discoloration a bit, but not much.
But I repeat, I would say that this is a valid option if you have dry or mature skin and you think that stick foundations are always heavy or pasty on you.
It has a super natural look, but it makes your skin transparent.
So, if you prefer a more covering and glamorous look, I would skip this.
Then we have some new Covergirl sticks.
These are the skin-enhancing balm sticks.
So, they are available in contour version.
We have a blush version and then there are also highlighters.
So, I was really excited when I saw them on Amazon.
I haven't seen them in stores yet, so I think Amazon is the best place to buy them at the moment.
And I must say that so far I have been really happy with these.
So, let's start with the stick contour first.
These claim to be a weightless, ultra-blendable, modular and smooth balsam without effort.
It contains jojoba oil, raspberry extract and hazelnut.
And they should also be easy to control, proof of error.
Easy application.
I ended up getting two shades, 110 defined contour and 120 sculpted contour.
Although there are four shades of contour in total, these are the two lightest.
And the lighter shade has more of a gray tone to imitate a shadow,
while the higher shade is warmer and I think it would work better as a bronzer for me.
They have an extremely light and balsamic consistency, but at the same time they are surprisingly powdery.
When I heard they were a balm, I thought they might be a bit greasy,
a bit like the Blush Merit balsams, but they are not like that at all.
In reality they dry immediately until you get a powdery finish as soon as you apply them on the skin
and they blend extremely easily with almost no effort.
I think the lighter shade, defined, works really well for my skin tone as a contour.
It really imitates a shadow.
It's not too dark for me, it just gave a perfect contour effect.
And then I ended up using the sculpted shade, which is the second lightest,
and a little warmer as a bronzer on my cheeks.
So, I used it just to warm up a little, everything.
And once again, it blended perfectly.
I used the BK Beauty 107 brush to blend it, and I really liked how it looked.
It didn't disturb the foundation underneath.
I also put a little on the forehead, and I found them so easy to use.
And I thought this color was really perfect, even for a tan.
It's slightly warm, like a tan, but it didn't look orange on me at all.
So, it was really beautiful.
And then, after, we have the blushes.
So, they are available in four shades.
I took them all and four to try them.
And I love this range because you have two warmer shades, a nude and a coral.
And then you have two colder shades, a bright pink and a purple, which I was super excited to see.
You know how much I love purple blush.
And like the contouring sticks, they have the same formula.
They are creamy, extremely light, and dry immediately until you get a powdery finish.
Today, I applied the nude blush shade on the cheeks,
and I felt that it applied magnificently without lifting the base product.
I'm wearing the foundation in Stick Milani.
It didn't move it at all.
And again, they were super easy to blend.
No problem.
I think the pigment level is also perfect.
They are not too transparent and they are not even excessively pigmented.
So, I was able to build this color without problems.
And it built on itself very well without lifting the underlying layer.
So, they are fantastic.
I can't wait to try the purple shade.
I'll have to use it in another video.
I thought it wouldn't go well with my look today.
So, let me know in the comments if you want to see how it is.
And I'll try to use it again this week at some point so you can see.
Em, but they also have the two shades of highlighter.
So, unfortunately, there are only two available.
But again, I took both to try them and this is exactly the same formula of the blush and the contour stick.
Except for the fact that they have a bit of brightness.
One of the shades, Rose Beam, which is the darkest,
I had a problem with the packaging and the product had actually detached from the base and had remained stuck in the cap.
I managed to pull it out and then put it back in the tube.
But some of the reviews I saw on Amazon complained the same thing.
So, I know it wasn't just my problem.
I thought maybe they got too hot or too cold wherever they were kept,
and that this could have caused the problem,
but it seems that it could be something that has happened in general.
So, we'll have to see.
But what I love about these highlighters is how discreet they are.
I don't really like a formula of ultra-bright or sparkling highlighter.
And if you do, you probably won't be very impressed by these.
They are much more natural and a bit, more than what I call a light glow.
They just give that feeling of being more illuminated from the inside.
So, I haven't put one on yet today, but I thought I'd put this on.
This is Moonlight.
So, you can see that it's a nice champagne color.
And I'll just apply it with my finger.
I love the stick because it's really easy to control.
And again, I think it gives you a good amount of brightness.
Tipo, puoi ancora vederlo.
Si chiamano Keep It Full Glossy Plumping Balm.
E mentre sembrano molte altre simili a Melty Glossy Bombs,
Quindi, volevo solo farvelo sapere.
Quindi, personalmente, adoro questi balsami.
E so che alcune persone diranno,
e persino l'applicatore è in silicone gommoso come quelli Summer Free Days.
Quindi, passiamo rapidamente in rassegna tutti i gusti
Poi abbiamo lo zucchero all'anguria.
Un po' come quelle caramelle dure all'anguria.
Chimico.
Penso che siano davvero buoni.
Inoltre, contengono i peptidi.
Ciao.
