I've tested over a hundred Apple HomeKit accessories
in my smart home.
That's why in this video,
I wanted to tell you my favorite ones,
the ones that I actually use in my daily life.
The products that I'm going to be mentioning
will obviously be linked down below in the description.
There will be timestamps in the video
so you can just scroll through the accessories
that you're interested the most.
Let's get started with the accessory
that I by far use the most.
The Eve light switch is all over my apartment
because it is by far the easiest way
to control lighting in a smart home.
I don't have a single light bulb in my smart home
because if I want to turn it on or off,
I have to do it with my phone or via Siri,
which is nice sometimes, but not all of the time.
That's why the Eve light switch is incredible
because it acts like a normal light switch.
It looks like a normal light switch,
but it's obviously Apple HomeKit compatible,
meaning that you can control it
simply by tapping on the light switch,
making it extremely easy for somebody
that walks in your home,
that they can turn it on or off.
If you've got family members walking in,
they'll know how to turn on the lights.
And in an era where smart homes get so complicated,
products that are as simple as this makes it so amazing.
You can obviously control it within the home app via Siri.
And I have so many automations with it.
Let me know in the comments
if you would like an entire video
about all of my automations in my smart home.
I'm still using the H100 smart lock from Aqara.
It's got Apple HomeKey support,
meaning that I can just walk in my home
with my Apple Watch, with my iPhone,
by simply tapping on it.
You've got a physical key bad,
you've got a fingerprint sensor,
or you could even unlock your door via a standard key.
It is a very robust, a very secure smart lock.
It is massive.
It's not discreet.
It feels aggressive.
It feels secure because it even auto locks itself
as soon as you close the door.
Another smart lock that I love is the Level Lock Plus.
It's the total opposite than the one that I just mentioned.
It is the most discreet,
the most normal looking lock in the world.
It obviously works with your physical keys.
You've got a AA battery
that you can switch it up once or twice a year.
You can also buy a keypad separately.
So if you want a specific keypad,
we have it at the studio, for example,
and it was very useful.
If we've got guests coming in,
we can just give access to them via the keypad.
I just overall love how normal it looks.
I also love the Logitech Circle View Doorbell.
The doorbell that I still have in my smart home.
This doorbell has been out for so many years,
but it doesn't feel outdated at all.
I love the design of it.
When you ring the doorbell,
the Apple TV will actually preview
who's outside of your door.
The home pods will ring.
You've also got so many automations
that you could do with it.
I've also got it connected via power.
So there's no batteries or charging
that I need to mess with.
It always just works.
And the best thing about it
is that I've had zero connectivity issues
since I've bought it.
And that is a very big deal with a smart home product,
making it very reliable.
Something that definitely surprised me
is the AirVersa Air Purifier.
Not only does it look great with its display on the top,
you've got a color ring that will indicate
your air quality in your home.
I never thought I needed an air purifier in my life.
I actually gave one to my sister
and she says her life has literally changed
because she's got so many allergies.
And the AirVersa Air Purifier
just literally collects so much dust
that you're breathing through the air in your house.
You've got a sleeping mode, an automatic mode.
And since it's compatible via HomeKit,
you've got so many automations
that you could do with the sleep mode,
with the automatic mode, with manual mode.
If you want me to be honest,
I was super skeptical on air purifiers,
but then I tested out this one.
I checked out how the filter was doing over two weeks
and this was how much it collected.
I've also been kind of obsessed with flick buttons lately.
They're compatible with Apple HomeKit
thanks to its hub,
which by the way is now Matter Compatible.
And they're simple buttons
that you can make them do whatever you want.
I've got them all over my smart home.
I've got them all over my studio,
allowing me to turn on, turn off lights,
control my curtains.
I've got them under tables so I can just tap on the table
and my table lights go on.
They are definitely very underrated.
Now by far, 70% of the HomeKit products
that are inside of my smart home are from Acara.
And I'm so fortunate enough
that they're sponsoring this video.
I was going to include them either way in this video,
but they wanted me to tell you
all about their Black Friday deal.
Their Black Friday deals are absolutely insane
and they will have discounts for Christmas as well.
So if you were thinking of picking up some Acara products,
I mean, now's the best time to do it.
I've got their LED strip, which is extremely bright,
has so much range of colors
and most importantly, it is extremely reliable.
The Acara Hub G3 camera
is the one that we've actually got in the studio.
You've got this privacy mode if you want it.
It actually rotates and can even track a person
for maximum safety.
You've got a speaker, a microphone so you can speak to it.
And most importantly,
it acts like a hub to the entire Acara family as well.
I own their smart plugs as well,
which are way much more discreet than the competition.
They are way smaller and extremely reliable as well.
I also love their water leak sensor.
And in my opinion,
it is the best HomeKit water sensor out there in the market.
It is so small, so compact.
And I know you love my automation with it.
I know you're supposed to use it
under your washing machine, under your sink,
which I have sensors there as well.
But the funnest way that I use it
is with my automation in my shower.
When the water leak sensor senses water,
it connects to my Acara thermostat.
So it actually turns on the heat in my towel warmer.
Long story short, when my smart home detects
that I'm taking a shower, my towel will start worming.
Isn't that amazing?
So yes, don't forget that a bunch of Acara products
are discounted right now for Black Friday
from November 21st to December 2nd.
So check out all the deals in the description down below.
Acara, thank you so much for sponsoring this video
and for making some of the best HomeKit products
in the market.
Now as obvious and controversial as this might seem,
the HomePod mini is an essential to any HomeKit smart home.
I absolutely love HomePod mini.
I've got a bunch of them in my smart home
in a bunch of really fun colors, such as this orange.
For me in my experience, Siri is smart enough
for the tasks that I tell it to do,
which are usually smart home tasks.
So usually I'll tell it to open the blinds,
to turn on a couple of lights,
to play some music, to set up a timer.
I've got them in my kitchen, in my living room,
in my bedroom to turn on my alarm.
It also acts as a home hub, just like on the Apple TV.
And talking about the Apple TV,
I obviously have to talk about it
because it makes my AirPlay experience so well
with my Sonos setup that I'll mention now in just a second.
But the Apple TV 4K is absolutely incredible
because of its UI, because of its power.
One of the most underrated products
in the Apple ecosystem by far.
Having Siri on your TV is so useful.
The quality that the Apple TV gives your TV is incredible.
Just the fact that it's so well connected
in my HomeKit ecosystem, when somebody rings the doorbell,
it just shows up in the top right.
I actually made an entire video discussing
all of my favorite useful features on the Apple TV.
So links down below in the description
if you wanna watch that as well.
And as I said before, the Apple TV connects so well
to my Sonos setup.
And you know how big and how powerful my Sonos setup is?
It's kind of overpowered and too loud
for how small the apartment is, which I kind of love.
I've got my subwoofer, which just makes my apartment shake.
I've got two Sonos Aera 300s on the back,
bringing that true spatial audio experience.
And Sonos recently sent me their brand new Sonos Arc Ultra,
which is absolutely bonkers.
They've actually improved the bass
and there's this new voice clarity feature
that whenever you're watching the movie,
it will separate the audio track that has the voice
and portray it with so much better quality.
There's been also some slight redesigns,
including the volume toggles.
It brings the Sonos Arc experience
that I've loved so much over the years
and brings that to a whole new level
with the Sonos Arc Ultra.
So you can see, I'm pretty happy with my Sonos setup.
And it still connects so well with my Apple TV,
with my HomePod, with AirPlay.
It truly feels like Sonos is part of the Apple ecosystem.
I also love my Eve Energy Strip,
which is basically three smart plugs all into one.
I don't think you've ever seen an Energy Strip
as good looking as the Eve Energy Strip.
It is so classy, it feels so premium.
And if you've got three different smart plugs
that you can actually separate within HomeKit.
So each different plug will act as its own Eve Energy.
I've actually got one in my living room
and I connect all of my lighting inside of the plug.
So I can easily connect all of them into one plug
instead of having three separate smart plugs
for each single lamp.
I've also got a motion and light sensor
from Aqara in my balcony.
And I love the fact that I did an automation
that I'm still trying to perfect,
which is that whenever there's so much sun
and it detects certain lux of light,
it will open my curtains.
And whenever there's no more lights,
it will close my curtains in my home.
So like this, the sunlight can automatically come
into my home, which is quite unique.
There's obviously so many more smart home products
that I use on my daily basis,
but these are definitely my favorite one.

in the description, including that Black Friday card deal,
