Hey there, April of Yes to Next here with my mom, Michael.
Hi.
Now, coordination is super important.
You know, connecting your brain with your body.
Now, we often have these challenges, right, in our workouts.
Like, oh, right, left, all this stuff.
One of my challenges.
Yeah, that's right.
So that's what we're going to do today.
It's a gentle mind-body coordination workout.
Now, you can do this by itself every day,
or you can even use it as a warm-up, you know, to work out.
Just to get the body moving and get that whole brain-body connection going.
Okay, all right.
So, mom, any thoughts on this?
No, I need it.
I need coordination.
All right.
Yeah, we all need that.
It's really good to practice this.
All right, so we'll take a pause here and get started.
All right, so we're basically going to do three sets of five little exercises.
So we're going to do them five times so you can get really good at it.
Okay, you ready for this?
Yeah.
All right, so here we go.
First move, hands spread out in front of you.
Cross the chest, okay?
Okay.
Give me a snap with the opposite kick.
I can't snap.
Snap with the opposite kick.
And a slap, okay?
Then opposite arm, opposite knee.
I almost did this myself, okay?
Opposite arm, opposite knee.

It's all about just emotion, right?

It's funny.
All right.
Add sound effects.
You can add sound effects if you want.
I used to be able to snap.
Yeah, what happened?
I think I'm losing my fingerprints or something.
That happens.
So smooth.
It'll be hard to identify, so be good.
Yeah, that's true.
I got to be careful.
That's right.
Okay, so here we go.
Let's do it again.
Hands out.
Cross the chest.
