Good morning son, how are you? Sky's above, jeep's great to be alive and well.
I love how my hair's been like falling lately. Touch wood, touch wood.
Cheers.
Happy first day of December.
I can't believe guys, like where has November gone by?
Like this is crazy this year.
Like I don't think I remember anything after September, October to be honest.
Like everything has been just such a big blur.
But honestly this is one of the best ways I like to start my morning.
Just tuning into my thoughts.
Hair care, self care, non-negotiable.
Spending 20 minutes cleaning my coffee machine.
Making myself my own hot cup of coffee.
Grateful and blessed.
Anyway, it feels like I really haven't caught up with you guys in so long.
I have not vlogged all of November, it's just been so hectic with work.
I cannot even begin to explain my situation with work right now.
Everything like you know, when I started on this entrepreneurial journey,
I genuinely thought there was just one way to go about it, right?
Keep getting bigger both in volume and the kind of projects you take on.
And then obviously grow your team side by side.
Little did I know that is not what I wanted to do.
And maybe entrepreneurship in that way is not something that's meant for me.
Because I am a one woman army in many ways.
In the sense that I am so so bad at delegating.
And I am so so bad at like being okay with the fact that
people you hire come with their own quirks and nuances.
And that's absolutely okay and that might affect the output on a certain project.
I am so bad with that. So bad with it.
So I have really really struggled in the last two months to kind of
grow horizontally, like add more team members and kind of take on more work.
But growing vertically and taking on bigger projects as a consultant
has probably seemed like the more doable option for somebody like me.
So yeah, figuring that stuff out.
I have been talking to so many family and friends about like
the different ways we can really go about it.
Like what can be in store for me next.
You guys know I have been working with One Less and Hansika for the last three years.
Do I want to take on a bigger role?
Do I want to let go of everything and just start something of my own
like in terms of selling a product?
Go back to working a 9-5 which is like
the thought is a little bit insane to me right now.
But yeah, I'm just exploring all of my options and I feel like this is the number one hack
for anybody trying to build their business.
Please make a SWOT analysis of your personality and not just the service
or the product you're selling or the market research but of your personality
when you start your entrepreneurship journey because
people like Grace Beverly and Parul Gulati of Nishha.
She's also somebody that I really look up to.
They make it seem like that's the kind of traditional path to go right?
Increase your team, build on more capacity, bigger offices.
But maybe that's just not the trajectory for everybody especially not me.
I'm not being able to see myself there.
I've really tried hard to grow my team and it's not like I don't have the resources.
I'm very happy to kind of give VWork passes.
I'm taking them to Sumo House with me to co-work but I'm not being able to get
the satisfaction and the pleasure of working on multiple accounts
that I myself can't really handle or give that 100% attention to
and leave it to somebody else's creativity which is usually how agencies work
but I'm not able to do that so I'm sticking to calling myself a consultant.
Little ramble in today's vlog. I hope you guys enjoyed that.
I'm just going to go on with my day now.
It's a very busy Monday. I have a full day of work.
I am going to get out at some point just to check out and do some birthday shopping
because it is Sajji season. It is birthday month.
I don't know what my plans are yet. My birthday is literally tomorrow by the way.
I forgot to mention that so I have to figure out what I'm going to do.
I'm in Bombay. I celebrated with my family yesterday and I did a bunch of cute things on the weekend.
I probably might make another vlog for that just to take you guys through what I did.
So yeah, cheers to a successful and very productive Monday
and I'll catch you guys at some point later in the day.
Lucky girl syndrome for real.
Shoutout to Ishu. Thank you for sending me the best flowers.
Next Isha is my friend from London and she also did the same exact thing last year when I was in Dubai.
She sent me these flowers that landed up on my doorstep.
Obviously they had to be white roses and I think that's going to be our thing now.
I feel so grateful and lucky.
Perfect, thank you.
Okay guys, I don't know if you guys have seen her in my older vlogs.
Oh, this is not recording. Oh, it is recording.
Please introduce yourself.
She is currently in a midlife crisis.
So I'm helping her out because I'm the queen of unsolicited 2 cents.
We're having cold coffee at a cafe I will gatekeep for the foreseeable future.
I look really bad so please forgive how I look because I had a very long day.
I think I'm going to end my daily vlog here today.
I'm going to sip on my coffee and we're going to chat.
See you guys next time.
