À l’occasion de la reprise de "Play" au Palais Garnier, Alexander Ekman raconte son travail en studio avec les danseurs du Ballet de l’Opéra national de Paris.

Le chorégraphe revient sur le processus de création qui s’était déroulé en 2017 et les raisons pour lesquelles le thème du jeu s’était imposé à lui.

Amateur de ballets à grand spectacle, Alexander Ekman évoque les jeux de son enfance et la façon dont il les transpose et les exacerbe sur scène. Il explique le scénario du ballet qu’il a conçu avec la dramaturge Carina Nildalen et partage enfin les changements qu’il apporte cette saison à Play avec la complicité des danseurs.

On the occasion of the revival of Play at the Palais Garnier, Alexander Ekman talks about his work in the studio with the dancers of the Paris Opera Ballet.
