Amy Adams get's emotional about her success

however things work out or what you get or what you don't get and if you're nominated or not nominated it doesn't take away from the experience of making the film and the pride i feel for the film and um you know the character of sister james for me it just it it doesn't and the takeaway for you what do i take away yeah um there's a lot there's a lot you can't work with marilyn phillip and john and not walk away a a smarter person or i wouldn't even say smarter that's not very smart um sorry um i can't think of that's how most experiences in my life that i treasure i can't put words to them um that's why i'm like i'm like i'm tired it was it was an amazing experience um to you know to be somebody who i never thought i'd be here talking to you it's cool i landed in la 10 years ago you know and i worked really hard and did everything from day players and i'm not and there's for every me there's a million people who don't get to sit here and have this and i value that so i'm sorry so sorry but uh working with with marilyn phillip who are two of the best actors of their generation and to see their humanity to learn who they are as people it really um it it gives you a lot of strength to move forward in your own life and to make choices for yourself you know sorry i think i did this on the epk too um no it's an emotional life uh being an actor yeah it can be it's uh you're exposed you know and that can be you know and here we are and i'm having this moment with you but yet who knows who's gonna see this so you know who's gonna see this but i don't know or how people will feel about you know me exposing myself in this way well but that's obviously not insincere in any way coming from somewhere deep inside yeah that's the whole idea i mean that's what we love about art that's what we love about going to the movies it's true i i value so much the experiences i've had the opportunity to have i mean i think that's what we see when we see you the people the reason that people i think are drawn to you as a performer have been because they see your heart well you know that's what they're something whatever it is in you that i mean you're not a movie star single character kind of person you're still an actor first in all the roles you do but i think they see somebody they like well sometimes um yeah i'm not i can't i don't know i'm just now i'm just sort of rambling i apologize thank you so much thank you and i hope you didn't feel too no no no it's all right it's it's it's it's a happy thing it's it's just uh i'm being very grateful to the people i work with well and i'm sure they are for you yeah well thank you
