With all the available technology, fewer home sellers are choosing to hire a real estate agent to get the job done. In fact, some of them will even take significantly less money and sell to a company like Opendoor just to not have the hassle of listing the house for sale or dealing with an agent. On top of that there are many different companies servicing that leverage AI and salary paid agents to get homes sold. The future of the traditional real estate agent is not looking too bright.
