Political Analyst Expects More Pardons to Come From Biden After Largest Ever Single-Day Act of Clemency

President Joe Biden announced Thursday that he would be pardoning 39 individuals convicted of nonviolent crimes as well as commuting the sentences of nearly 1,500 others in the largest ever act of clemency issued on a single day. “America was built on the promise of possibility and second chances,” Biden said in a statement.
