Good morning everyone and welcome to another day in my life. Today is a very exciting day,
probably the most exciting day I've had in a while for a number of reasons. One, it's Friday. Two,
you can't really see it but it's super sunny, the sky is blue, the vibes are immaculate. Three,
although it is a normal working day, I have a night out tonight which I'm so excited about.
It's one of my really, really, really good friend's birthdays tonight. We are going out for
some drinks, we're going out for some dancing. The last time I went on a night out was my birthday.
I just do not go out like this so I am all for this opportunity right now. I can't wait to see
my friend. I haven't seen her in so long. I think we should do a little get ready with me, get glam,
have a little beverage, have a little chatty catch up. Getting ready on a Friday night though,
that is what all the vibes are about. So I'm really excited about that. That's really motivating me to
get all of my work tasks done. And then lastly, this is also a really, really exciting day because
if you guys watched all of my vlog from last week, then you'll know that right at the end,
I told you that a really big life change is coming up. There's a huge life change coming.
That's all I'm going to say. You'll see the change next Sunday. I told you guys to watch
the next vlog and you're here. So are you ready? The big announcement and life change is that
Boyf and I are now, drum roll please, parents. We are now parents to our little fur baby,
a little cute ragdoll kitten. She's only three months. She arrived here last night at 9pm. So
she's only been here for 12 hours and I'm going to introduce you to her now. I don't know if you
can hear the meowing but she's just hiding under the sofa right now. She is just a little kitty
and oh, you'll come out. Oh, she's very intrigued by the camera. Meet our new cat.
Her name is Matcha. I'm genuinely not even joking. Her name is Matcha and she's still just getting
used to everything. So yeah, she's been hiding under the sofa a little bit and she is coming
out on her own, which is really good. To be honest, she's adjusted really fast. She arrived
at 9pm last night, was terrified. She was crying a little bit and then I just held her in my arms.
She adjusted really, really fast to both of our smells. She was like sitting on our laps. We
already bought everything we needed. We were playing with her with the toys. She was having a
really, really fun time. And then when you bring a kitty home, you can only kind of confine them to
one room. Make sure they get used to the room and then let them into like your whole home. So
to make sure, come on in, to make sure that she wasn't scared, I slept on the sofa last night to
make sure I was with her all night. And when I went to bed, she jumped onto the sofa, cuddled up
in my literal armpit and fell asleep, which is a really, really good sign. And then at 5am,
she woke me up and then wanted to come and cuddle again. So we're making progress. Okay, Boife is
just playing with Matcha right now. Honestly, I can't believe her name is Matcha. It's just so
perfect. We've actually even ordered her a green, like Matcha green colored collar, but it's not
coming for another week or two because it's personalized. It's got her name on it and
everything. So we're just keeping on the collar that she has right now so we can hear her when
she moves. I'm making breakfast right now. I'm just going to have some Greek yogurt,
granola and fruit. So while I'm making this, I thought I would tell you guys the story about
why we even have a cat right now, because I know it's so random and I haven't spoken about it
before. So if you don't know, I actually had a cat when I was 15 and I had him for five years.
He was a British shorthair. He was so cute. Sadly, he passed away in 2020 and I've just been such a
cat person ever since. Like, if you know me, if you've ever met me, I've probably spoken to you
about getting a cat because I genuinely speak about it every single day. And especially since
living with Boife, like I'll be walking into the kitchen making lunch and I'm like, I just wish a
was here right now. So I've always spoken about it like in that jokingly way. And Boife and I have
had conversations about getting a cat before. Even before we moved in together, we always knew we'd
get one. We just thought we'll wait a few years before we get one because what if we want to
travel? We're going to be moving apartments almost every single year. So maybe we should wait till
later. Matcha, come here. Aww. He's so funny. So we always talked about it and just like wrote it
off as a decision for the future. But if you follow me on Instagram, then you'll know that around maybe
like a week ago now, it was definitely, yeah, just a week ago, we went to puppy yoga together.
When we came back from puppy yoga, Boife said, do you really want a cat? And I was like, yeah, but I
thought, you know, you said that we should wait it out. And he was like, no, he was like, I saw how
you were with that puppy today. And he was like, I saw how much it made you happy. And that, it just
kind of like made him more familiar with the idea of just having a little pet. So I was like,
that's it. He told me that I think on Sunday. So literally less than seven days ago,
I went straight online, started doing all of my research on what breed to get and just everything,
everything we need to buy, what the monthly cost of like looking after a pet would be.
So I did all the research, messaged like only two owners, found the cat. We couldn't do a viewing
because the cat was in a whole other city. So we did a FaceTime with the owner. She told us
everything we needed to know. And then last night the owner drove down to London to drop the cat
off to us. And then that's it. It's literally been the, just the fastest thing ever. And we got all
of our cat supplies two days ago on Amazon, ordered everything on next day delivery and
setting everything up for her. And that's all of you guys caught up to speed. I just made my tea
We're besties now. I'm obsessed with her. I also picked up a match on my walk.
Avi had to celebrate the introduction of Match of the Cat. I mean, who am I kidding? I was going to
get a match on my walk regardless. But I had a really good morning routine as you guys would
have seen. But I have to say throughout filming each one of those clips was just filled with
cat mother duties. Boyf and I were just so busy. It's like every 10 minutes we had to do something
new for the cat. So like we were trying to teach her how to use its new litter box, but then she
really, really didn't want to. So then Boyf being the superstar that he is literally made a litter
box out of a cardboard box and she did her business straight away. So that's good. That's
a problem solved. We've still got some new cat stuff coming. So I was just setting that up and
keeping the kitten entertained. She's definitely getting more comfortable and confident. So that
was good. But yeah, a lot of cat parent duties this morning, but it's all very much worth it.
But enough about the cat. Let's get into the productivity part of this vlog. Just open my
laptop. It's time to get started with work for the day. And that's what I'm going to be doing
basically all afternoon. Just getting all of my work that I've scheduled in time blocks all done
so that I can get glam later, go out with my friends, party and just live the London life.
I'm so excited. Right. So this work block that I'm doing right now is not just any work block. It is
the work block of work blocks. You know why? Because I'm about to start working on this secret
project that I've been hinting at for weeks and weeks and weeks to you all. I'm probably annoying
you because I keep telling you I'm working on something really exciting, but I'm not actually
telling you what it is. When I tell you this project had me working until I don't think I
went to bed till three o'clock in the morning. I have not done that since I was in university.
It is such a passion project of mine that I absolutely do not mind that it is 10 o'clock
at night and I am working on it. That's how much I care about it. Honestly, I just can't wait. I have
such a vision for what this website is going to be, all of the things and the value that you guys
are going to be able to get from it. So as many of you know, I already launched a self-help newsletter.
If you don't know, this is my website that recently came out, tamco.com. This is what it's looking like,
but the newsletter is only the beginning. Now, there is something really, really big coming
for this website. So the website is actually going under a huge, like,
renovation right now because, drum roll please, I'm about to let you know what I've been hinting
out for a long time. I am bringing out my very own guided journal. I can't believe I just said that!
That's the first time I fully, like, said that out loud. Like, nobody else in my life even knows apart
from boys. So yeah, I'm bringing out my own journal. I have been working on this for months. I have had
the idea, like, the urge to want to do this for over a year now and this year I thought, you know what? F it.
I'm not bringing this idea into another year. I'm getting this done before the year ends and because
of that goal of mine, everything's been very rushed, rushed, hectic, which is why, like, in past vlogs
I've said, like, I haven't been sleeping much, I've been doing a lot. While it has been tough, it's been
so worth it because I received the sample, the first sample of the journal yesterday. It looks
absolutely amazing, exactly what I envisioned. So glad I got a sample first. There's going to be a
few changes, so I've let my manufacturer know about that. The website is currently being edited, so now
I'm going to give you a quick preview of what the website is looking like. This is definitely going
to change. I'm going to change my logo as well, but right at the top here are all of the pages. So
right now, tamco.com is literally just a landing page for the newsletter, but soon there's going to
be, like, a products page, a page for the book, for resources you guys can download that I'm also
working on. So yeah, I'm bringing out a journal and I will tell you guys more about it soon, but
in a few weeks, literally before 2025, it will be out, it will be available to pre-order.
I designed it fully myself, the cover, the inside, I designed every single page. There's so much thought
and strategy that went into the journal itself. I really based around how I journal for my own growth.
So yeah! So right now, I'm just hopping onto Shopify to just make some more changes to the
store, make sure it's all going to be up and running before it launches. Shopify I've already
been using for the newsletter part of the site, so when you guys go and you decide if you want to get
the free version or pay for the full access to the newsletter, that is all processed through Shopify,
but me and my team are using it to bring out the journal as well. If you guys don't know what
Shopify is, it's a commerce platform which basically makes making your own business super
easy because of all of the features it includes, like a drag and drop store editor and really,
really easy to use marketing tools. You would think that starting another venture, bringing a
journal out, like I literally wouldn't have time for it because it's too much, but that's why
choosing the right platform comes into it because when it does half of the work for you, that's when
you can pursue all of your dream passions all at once. It's literally so easy to experiment with
how I want my homepage to look. I can drag and drop in any image I want for any section or page
of the website. It literally takes seconds and then being a social media content creator, it's
super easy to also integrate all of your social media apps, so you can make sure you're also
bringing traffic to them, which I love. All it takes is just inputting the link. There's no
coding required whatsoever. Same for changing the copy. That's actually what I'm going to be working
on today, just drafting up what I want all of the sections of the website to look like and then all
I have to do is copy and paste it into the editor and just like that, it will literally be all done.
So I'm going to get to playing around with my Shopify store right now and making progress on it.
I highly recommend you guys also try it out. With the new year approaching, if you've ever
dreamed of setting up a business, take it from me, the girl who has used Shopify three times over
already, that it is very much worth it and very much worth the explore. You can scan the QR code
right here for a free trial or you can just use my personal link. That's shopify.com forward slash
tamcorvlogs and a big thank you to Shopify for sponsoring this part of the video. But let's get
First work block is done, which means it's now lunchtime. On my walk this morning, I actually
picked up some food from Itsu for Boyf and I to have some lunch together. So I've got this salmon
and avocado dragon roll for us to share as a side. I got the chicken teriyaki rice plate and I got
the salmon superfood salad. So we're going to tuck into this. I also went to the store to just get
some cleaning supplies because we threw out some of the cleaning supplies we have and just got
method because method is safe for cats. So I did that. I also finally got the cat treats. Now we
ordered everything except the treats because online, like when I was shopping for everything
from Amazon, they only had the generic cat treats and I knew waitress would have the proper ones.
So I was fully doing up cat mom. I was in the aisle like psychotic cat mom going through picking
up all the treats, reading all the ingredients. And these are really good because they're 100%
chicken breast. All of the normal cat treats that you see advertised that you see in every store
are actually really bad for cats because of the amount of additives they have in them.
So yeah, Miguel has been doing her research. We're going to say have a little lunch break and then
afterwards I'm going to get on with mine. Oh, she's so cute. Wow. We're going to eat this lunch
and then I'm going to do my second work blog in the living room on the sofa so I can spend as
much time as I can with the kitty before I go out tonight. Hi, Matcha. Hi, baby. She's so cute.
So I've just been sat here for a while editing my video as part of my second time blog.
And then Boyf just came in as some of the new cat stuff has arrived. This is a jute rug, which is
really good for cats because they really like to stick their claws into the material. So we basically
bought this for her to be able to destroy it. And we're going to put it under her little sofa that
we got her. We got the sofa and the rug from Amazon. So this is basically her little kitty
corner. Oh, my God. My heart is melting. That's literally her own little living room, which matches
our little living room. If this doesn't give, we now have a child energy. I don't know what does.
But yeah, that's coming really well together. Even when it gets a little bit darker in the
apartment and we switch this lamp on, it's so cozy. Oh, Jesus. That's a lot of stuff.
I've decided I'm going to take a little break from my second work blog to unbox everything that's
just arrived. I've like low-key forgotten what I've got. Oh, I think I've actually got some
normal parcels for me here. Oh, guys. So I actually ordered another Kaoli perfume.
If you watched like two vlogs ago, I got my first one, which was the pistachio fragrance
in love. And I actually didn't buy much this Black Friday whatsoever. I think maybe I got myself like
two things, this being one of them. It was on sale and I had had such amazing things. I ended up
getting vanilla candy rock sugar. Oh, what is this? Oh, electrolytes. Then we got electrolytes for the
both of us because we really want to try and give it a go. I will give you guys an update as to, you
know, whether it's an actual thing. For the longest time, I just thought I'm not going to do that.
But I've been seeing amazing TikToks about it. Then we have an Amazon parcel. This is, is it the
clicker? So Voith is convinced that he's going to be able to train Matcha to do tricks. I said
absolutely not. These clickers are for dogs. But let's see. Hopefully, I mean, we need to train
her to not go on the counters and stuff because she was really trying to eat our lunch today.
You got more electrolytes. Guys, it looks like, what if we hate it? Then what?
And more electrolytes.
I'm drinking good. Hydration levels on point. And lastly, we have the thing I was most excited for,
the cat scratching post. But it's like, like a palm tree. Guys, I'm obsessed.
Voith is going to build that scratching post right now. And I'm going to get back to my
work block, which is editing a vlog. I'm literally filming a vlog and editing the vlog at the same
time. And I'm basically just going to do this for the next few hours until it's time to start
getting glam for the night out. Voith is already bringing over the electrolytes. So you guys will
get a review now. But yeah, I'm actually currently editing my Christmas reset vlog. That will be the
last vlog before this. So if you guys haven't seen it, go and check it out because it's all the
BTS to setting up that tree and wrapping gifts.
Cadence. Citrus. Is yours the same? Yes. Cheers. It's a bit strong, the flavor.
It's made for the salty. It's high in like... Okay. Yeah. It's masking the salt well though.
I think I'd like this, like eating it with dinner or something.
Reminding me throughout the day. Yeah. You know when you want a bit of a drink and you're just
sick of water and you've got a nice meal. I can get behind this. That's actually quite nice.
Yeah. I like it. Amazing. Okay. Now back to editing.
Shower taken. Cocktail in hand. Makeup out. It's time. Bro Chatty, get ready with me.
It's currently 5.30 PM on a Friday. The work is done and I'm about to go on a night out. And I'm
so excited. It's been so long since I've done this. Why does everything hit so much better
when you're about to go on a night out? Like even the things you do every day. Like when I was in
the shower, I was like, yes. When I was putting my moisturizer on after, I was like, yes. And
even sitting down to do my makeup, which I do like multiple times a week anyway, is just so much more
exciting. I want to listen to my music. Oh, I'm just so excited. I love a good night out once in
a blue moon with my favorite people, when it's just about dancing and good vibes. Now that I've
been living in London for six months, I've only been on two nights out so far, one of which was
my birthday, but both were just such good vibes. There weren't any like creepy men about the music.
Phenomenal. I just think going out in London is just, I much prefer it than going out in the
Midlands. And I, in my uni days, I used to go out literally every single weekend, but I much prefer
it here, which is why I'm so looking forward to it. But I thought, while I do my makeup, I will
catch you guys up on just some things that have been going on lately. And I thought I'd start off
by talking about 75 hard. If you follow me on Snapchat, then you'll know, I kind of took you
guys through the journey of, you know, the first initial days of doing 75 hard and what that was
like and like the progress I was making. And I think I've even mentioned it in some vlogs. You
might be wondering why I'm holding a cocktail, which by the way, I haven't even sipped yet.
This is Aperol, my favorite alcohol ever, with elderflower tonic water from Fevertree, topped
with that electrolyte citrus can. Immaculate. You know, I just, I never get ready. Oh wow, is it,
is the alcohol already hitting me? So yeah, the reason that I have a cocktail right now, even
though the rules for 75 hard is no alcohol for 75 days, is because I've given up. I'm not doing 75
hard anymore. And this is why. I only decided that I'm going to stop 75 hard yesterday. And when I
made this decision, let me tell you, it was the most relieved I felt in a very long time. I ended
up doing 75 hard for a solid month. So I basically did just about half of the challenge and I did it
all. And you know, at the beginning, through all the people I was kind of talking to about it or
anybody that asked that I was seeing in real life, I was always like, you know what? It's not that
bad. Like, I love it. All of the habits, like drinking water, working out, reading, eating good,
no alcohol are all things I do anyway. That's how I live my life 90% of the time. It was just the
fact that you get no days off and no skips that was absolutely killing me. For someone with a
really, really busy schedule, I was pushing myself, pushing myself to the limit. And I was like,
I genuinely, like, I'm struggling. But then I was like, you know what? I've come this far. I can't give
up now. Like, I've done a whole month. So that's why I kept on pushing. But the thing that really
changed my mind was yesterday when I knew I had this night out the next day and I was like,
oh shoot, I can't even drink. It's not that I'm a big drinker. It's actually the opposite. It's the
fact that I never drink. So when I do go on my occasional nights out, that happened like three
times a year, if that, I want to be able to do it properly and have a cute cocktail and get a
little bit tipsy and like fully immerse myself in the experience of going out because I never get
to do it. And so the thought of not drinking because I'm on this challenge just felt like a
waste to me. And so I don't want to affect this one rare experience I'm going to have. And it's
not just that. Like on normal days, I would do my morning routine like I always do. I'd go to the
gym very first thing in the morning, come back, do my meditation, do my reading, all of that.
But on days where I had to wake up really early to get glam, leave the house to go to a meeting,
to go to a recording and do that, where I had to skip my morning routine, coming back after a really
long day of work where I finished filming and stuff at like 9pm some days and then having to
be like, okay, I've got to go to the gym for an hour. Then I got to go on a walk for an hour after
that and then come back, then read, then do all of these things was just exhausting. And it was
getting to the point where I was sacrificing my sleep. Resting is so important to me to be able
to achieve productivity, right? And I've never been a go to the gym everyday girly because I'm
just not a gym girly whatsoever, right? I go for my mental health. So going every day was just
really intense for me, especially the fact that it was two workouts a day. It was just way too much
and not viable for my schedule. And I realised, you know what? The fact that I tried and the fact
that I had the intention is good enough and that's okay. And I know when to say that something is not
working and something is not serving me. And I basically came to the conclusion that all of the
habits in 75 hard, I'm still going to be doing because I have been doing them for the last two
years. I'm still going to be eating healthily all the time. But if I see a dessert because I'm
travelling, I'm going to be able to eat the dessert when I'm travelling. You know what I mean?
Just finishing off getting ready right now in a little bit of a rush because I don't want to be
late, but it is exactly one hour later right now. Just got to put my outfit on, which I kind of
already put out. I don't know if you can see it, but I'm thinking that leather look, I haven't tried
it on, so who knows, but it's like a, it's a full leather look. I'm quite excited for it. It's giving
very much my Venus sign, Scorpio, and I'm all for those vibes. Okay. I did not need to try this on.
It is an absolute winner. I'm feeling myself. It's been a while since I've been able to, oh,
just walked through the door. Come and look at me.
He's going to stand there and watch me while I vlog. Okay. So the top is Kai, obsessed. All I've
ever worn from Kai before is a puffer jacket, which is so good and so warm, but this, I didn't
have the highest expectations. Love it. It's literally so comfortable. And then, uh, underneath,
I have this cute leather belt skirt from Marnier Dubois, and I think I'm either going to pair it,
I could pair it with some black boots, but I just want to choose the comfiest thing
since we're going to be dancing. These are quite cute. Little bit of contrast.
All these, you can't go wrong with a kitten heel on a night out. I'm kind of feeling these a little
bit more. I think if I put a black boot with this, it would be like really giving Catwoman.
Maybe. I'm going to lose my shit. I should have left two minutes ago. Look what I've just done
with mascara. No, it's fine. I just got to wait for it to dry and then I can scrape it off with
a Q-tip. This never happens of all days. I think you should add a few more. Okay, sure.
Ridiculous. Just doing these little studs. I'm just going to mix up gold and silver. I never
like to wear all silver jewelry because I'm such a gold girly, but with the silver hardware on this
outfit, I like to mix it up. Guys, boyfriend's genuinely just standing in silence in the corner
of the room, just staring at me as he should, to be honest. Okay, I'm finishing touch before I go
is to try out the new perfume. I have not smelt this or tested it before, so let's hope it's good.
I can't smell anything. It's a bit risky. Huh? It's a bit risky. It's risky, but it's Kaoli,
so it should be fine. It's sweet. Candy's in the name. I see that. These are what the heels look
like, guys. I think I love that choice. For bag, I'm probably just going to do, yeah, this little leather
guy. It's from RSVP Paris, the brand, and that should hold my mini vlogging camera, my lip combo,
eyelash glue. I'm going to clean this mascara up, and then I will see you there.
No one could tell me I'm not committed to the vlog channel. Oh, I haven't even looked at myself
in the mirror yet. I just got home. It's quarter past two in the morning, and I immediately need
to do my skincare and get to bed. You know what? Makeup powered up, considering how hot and sweaty
the club was. Look at me here, finishing the vlog off when I'm tipsy and I'm tired and I just want
to plonk into bed, but you know I got to do you guys an outro. I had such a fun night. Apologies.
I hope I filmed enough for you guys. I just want to be conscious that obviously some people didn't
want to be on camera. I also want to be present and enjoying the moment, and I don't want to be
that person that was just videoing everybody the whole time when they just want to be dancing.
Events like that where it's a night out is a little bit harder to film, but I hope you guys
got the gist. We went to Vagabond Wines first, and we got a little bit of dinner and drinks, and
I didn't know any of my friend the birthday girl's friends, so I was meeting everyone for the first
time, but other people also said they were meeting other people for the first time. So it's just a lot
of mingling, and it was so nice to like be able to actually have full-on conversations with people
before we headed out to a really nice bar, and to have a dance. The music was phenomenal. Like
we all made a circle. Everyone was singing at the top of their lungs. The vibes were just immaculate.
Everybody was matching each other's energy. It was like most fun I've had in a long time.
My night out box is ticked for a few months now. It was that good. Like I won't even be craving it
for the foreseeable. But yeah, that brings us to the end. Hopefully I'll be in bed before 3am,
and then tomorrow is Saturday, and I'm literally just going to be at home all day long. Literally
just getting on with work and things. Nothing special. Not going anywhere. Literally going to
be in sweats all day, working in the sofa with matcha, and boy, you know what? I was coming back
from the night out thinking about that, and I was so excited. I was like that's just exactly what I'm
craving right now. I can't wait. So yeah, I really hope you guys enjoyed this vlog. If you did, please
comment down below. Let me know what you thought about it, because I just love reading through all
your comments. It always motivates me to keep making laser content on the vlog channel. I
appreciate you so much, and I'll see you same time next week for a brand new vlog. Bye!
