Lionel Messi - All 40 Goals & Assists In 2023

Fantastic goal. Hakimi hurdles. Messi! It's a sensational goal. It is a sensational goal. Mendes tries to cross. It's Messi on the nose. The best player in the world. Who is his goal? The captain of the Caronetas. There goes Messi! What a goal! Goal! Messi! Goal! Mendes to Lionel Messi. Paris Saint-Germain in front. A goal of jubilation. Messi skipping away from Thomas and Anne again. And finding Mbappé, back to Messi, glorious. A quite outstanding Paris Saint-Germain goal. They're two superstars combining. And Argentina will continue. It's Leo Messi. That's why he's the best player in the world. And that's what the fans came to see tonight. Messi! This certainly isn't. Messi driving forward. Over to Robert Taylor. Taylor cutting it back. Martinez left it for Messi! Cutting inside. Still Robert Taylor. Floats it towards Joseph Martinez. Settles. Messi! His sixth goal for Inter Miami and it's... You want to do its job. Messi. Up. Oh! What a touch. Messi to his right. Keeps it on his left of course. Oh! What a ball to Kovacic! This is one of the most ridiculous balls I've ever seen. Look at that ball into Kermasky. And all the Red Bull defenders caught ball watching. Worried about the ball in behind. That is the way that PSG can get out in a second. And they do. Messi. Pape. Shoots. Scores. PSG ahead. All the football has been played by Marseille. But pressing very, very high. They left themselves open to the counter. And he's the best counter-attacking player on the planet. I wonder if they're a better team. Started the run. Then stopped as he often does. Scoops it over the top. It's simply brilliant. It is wonderful. What a goal. That is absolutely amazing. Messi's corner. Ramos rises. And scores. Messi again. Pape starting his run. What about that for a pass? And Kylian Mbappe makes it too. Finishing it off magnificently of course. But the magnificence of the finish does not match the magnificence of the pass. And then the quality of the finish. There he is again. And Pape. Messi. Isolated with Ronald Hernandez. Almada coming back to help defend. Taylor to his left. Robert Taylor up and running. Robert Taylor off the post. Messi's free kick. Driven in. Gabana. Messi looking for Gabana. Infection. To Messi. Jordaniel was in. Messi coming through. Messi. Can this battle end?
