🏍️ Legendary Rider @Alex Chacon is joining us for this amazing adventure around Oregon September 6th through 12th. Registration closes August 15th so make sure you reserve your spot. Alex Chacon has ridden in over 50 countries, 80 border crossings, and over 200,000 km's. A great opportunity to learn from a seasoned pro at riding and discovering new lands. In this trip update video, we also have some other upcoming Motorcycle trips to Baja along with our schedule for Patagonia, California Backcountry Discovery Route, Thailand, and Europe for the 20/21 season.
Hey riders, Eric with Ride Adventures here. 2020 sure has been an interesting year for all of us.
We've got some excellent riding opportunities you can look forward to, including one with
adventure riding legend Alex Chacon coming up, and 2021 is just around the corner. So
stay tuned to see what's ahead.
Quick side note here, Ride Adventures, by the time you see this video,
will have celebrated its 10-year anniversary.
Our thanks still goes out to all you customers over the years that have
made this business possible. Our team continues to grow. We've hired Tyler Miller,
ex-motocross racer and tour guide. He's a part of our North American operations here,
and of course we'll expand out to do things, other things that we do around the world
and other continents. We've been hosting private groups and individuals who really want to get
away from their city life right now. You know, 2020 has been an interesting year and people
hunkering down and staying isolated, but the practice of motorcycle riding behind a mask and
remote wild places like we have here in the Pacific Northwest has been perfect for some
of these groups. So speaking of riding in remote places like the Pacific Northwest,
the opportunity is coming up. September 6th through the 12th, adventure motorcycle legend
Alex Chacon is joining us for our Best Week in Oregon tour. You can register now, sign up,
we'll have the motorcycle waiting for you, all the hotels, the package is shown on our website,
but it's your chance to ride with a guy who's traversed 50 countries, over 80 border crossings,
something like 200,000 kilometers over the last years, and a great guy to be riding with
to learn from as well. So as winter rolls into the Pacific Northwest here, eventually we do
stop the riding for the season. We move our fleet bikes down to Southern California where you can
join us in November and December for rides like the Southern California Backcountry Discovery Route
and your own custom tour packages if you'd like us to arrange something else for your group to do
in those months. Once January and February comes around, we're even further south where it's even
warmer yet in those winter months for a lot of us in the Northern Hemisphere, we're riding Baja.
The whales are in season there. You can oftentimes not only see them in person but get the opportunity
to actually pet great gray whales. In addition to all the great riding that we get dual sport
through the most remote spaces in Baja, bouncing back and forth between the Sea of Cortez and the
Pacific Ocean all the way down to Los Cabos, the southern tip of the Baja Peninsula. So great
riding that basically goes through January and February and then we reverse and bring the bikes
back further north come springtime. If some of these locations aren't what you had in mind,
there's still even the possibility further south going all the way down to Patagonia.
We've been running Patagonia tours for years now both as rental opportunities for our customers
as well as self-guided tour packages, fly and ride packages with hotel packages already laid
out and waiting for you. We have self-guided packages with support trucks involved so that
you can be part of a group but still have that feeling of some autonomy out there in the remote
places of Patagonia. And so be sure to check our website for dates and opportunities to join those
existing tour groups coming up. We also have Columbia all the way up north in South America
but so close to the equator you basically have the same climate all year round which is warm
and comfortable. Yes we get some cold spots when you're in higher elevation but generally
incredibly warm and comfortable conditions for adventure riding again 12 months out of the year
down there. Peru is available for those of you that want to ride between April and mid-December
to avoid the rainy season. You get all the way again from the Pacific coast on up into the Andes
mountains riding through famous sites like the Nazca Lines, the Colca Canyon, Machu Picchu of
course one of the most famous sites in all of South America. All there waiting and ready for
you again as an individual rental as a few friends and yourself wanting to do a self-guided fly and
ride package with the hotels included or if you want to be part of a guided group tour we have
all these options for you there on our website. By chance April is your preferred month to travel
we have a great opportunity in Thailand with our Northern Thailand Experience Tour that's centered
around Songkran, the Thai New Year three-day celebration full of water fights, fun friendly
smiling people, an experience you will never forget if you choose to travel Thailand during
Songkran. Of course the riding is available on a year-round basis there and we're more than happy
to accept private groups that would like us to arrange something special for them. Our European
riding options are still there as well you got Central and Eastern Europe you can ride through
Germany, Switzerland, France, Italy, Croatia, Montenegro, Bosnia-Herzegovina. There's a lot of
riding to do of course in those appropriate months roughly April through November in Europe
if you want to do that as well. So again our website is getting kind of heavy with all the
expansion we've done over the years and a lot of riding opportunities there for you. It can be hard
to choose which is the right format for you. Are you a self-guided rider? Do you want to be part of a
guided group or just be a self-guided rider with a support truck following you? Feel free to fill
out one of the forms on the pages on our website that would indicate which tour you're interested
in and one of us typically one of our guides is going to respond to you to help talk through if
that is the right style of trip that you should be looking into. So the information is all there
can be a lot to pick through let us help you if we can and let us know what it is you want to do
and where you want to go in the world. So thanks for watching remember that we are all about
helping you get out there and travel and ride the world see more of these fantastic places
so let us know what it is you want to do next and ride on. Who are you? T-Bag they call me T-Bag.
T-Bag Tyler.
