There is nothing better than, you know, letting her be the star of the moment. She is the moment. She's the vibe. And, you know, honestly, my breath was taken away when she walked down the stairs tonight. How lucky am I? I don't know how to explain it, but it feels like there's two halves of my life. The good half, you know, before all this started, before she got sick. And then there's the s*** half, present company excluded, is the half I don't want to get I've seen like a passion project for everybody. What was it like with you guys working together and playing together and seeing this small but mighty cast? It's an incredible cast. I was blown away by the phone calls I would get from Robert, the director, and said, oh, we just got this person, Elizabeth Shue, or Matt Walsh, or Alex Shipp. I mean, it's an incredible cast. You know, anytime you do an indie film, it's about the art, it's about telling a story that you want to tell. And I just loved this story. And, you know, I hope that people, you know, watch it and feel some sense of hope. You know, we all experience loss in some way. It's the unfortunate part of life, you know, and growing up. And I just feel like this does a really good job of telling a story about loss, but with some hope at the end of it. Do you go back and forth between loving acting more or loving being a musician more? Or is it neck and neck? It really depends. Honestly, you know, I feel fortunate that I don't really have to choose between the two. I think, you know, 10, 15 years ago, there was that thing where you had to say, I'm only doing this, I'm only doing that. And the greats that kind of paved that path for me to be able to step in and do both, I'm eternally grateful. This movie really examines the parent-child relationship. Are you trying to pick projects now that you know your daughter is going to be watching one day? Does that play into when you pick a film? I think it plays into not only the film and TV side of things, but also the music. My entire perspective on life changed when we had our beautiful little girl. And I feel like I have more depth as a person, which still allows me as an actor and a singer and musician to have more depth, you know, and to have a different perspective. And, you know, picking a project like this isn't totally in my control. It's sort of a combination of things just going right, coming together. But I can't wait for her to watch it one day and for us to have a bowl of popcorn and watch it together. What was your reaction when you first heard Malty say, Oh, my God? I mean, I was shocked. I think I said it because she looks so cute. And then she just repeated it. And now we can't get her to stop saying it, but it's pretty cute. Last question for you. How much do you love when you show up somewhere with your wife? You know she's going to abstain you because of how beautiful. I mean, do you just love that?
