Hi YT fam! In today’s video I share some of my favorite items for the kitchen lover. All these items would make incredible gifts and vary in price points. Hopefully this gives you some ideas this holiday season!
hi guys and welcome back to my channel
if you are new welcome my name is Hannah
and on this channel we talk all things
home decor home Aesthetics mixing high
and low new and old and in today's video
we are doing a gift guide for the
kitchen lover so if this is something
you are interested in watching just keep
on watching so in today's video we are
going to be talking about some gift
ideas for the kitchen lover someone that
loves to bake someone that loves to cook
someone that just loves being in the
kitchen in general I have a handful of
ideas for gifts that I want to share
with you guys these are all tried and
true these are items that live in my
kitchen currently that I want to share
with you all giving you guys some ideas
if you are planning on gifting something
for the kitchen this holiday season now
everything will be linked Down Below in
the description box and I have
everything from Super inexpensive to
things that are a little bit more of a
Splurge item maybe for that really
special person in your life so I
definitely have price points for every
single person here but without further
to you guys let's get into today's video
all right so the very first item is an
all glass simmer pot and I'm sure you
guys are over hearing about this simmer
pot but I personally love mine so much I
simmer every single day throughout the
day when I'm home and at nighttime this
is such a great and inexpensive gift to
give to someone I got mine on Amazon for
about $31 they will fluctuate obviously
if you're buying off of Amazon they will
fluctuate in price but this is also a
really great hostess gift so if you are
planning to go over to someone's home
for the holidays I would suggest getting
your All Glass simmer pot and almost
putting the ingredients of a specific
simmer recipe within it packaged with
cellophane and a beautiful bow and
you're done it's such a great gift and I
think I love it for few reasons not only
is it aesthetic you can either leave it
on your stove just clean and just as
almost like a Decor item or just even
having it on is just such a great way to
have that beautiful Ambiance during the
season you have the the sound of the
bubbles of it simmering you have the
scent which is all organic using
obviously all organic items like your
apples your oranges and whatnot and it
is a really great really great gift for
those of you who are trying not to spend
a lot of money but also bring something
that's a little bit more heartfelt as
well so that is the first item second
item for the kitchen lover is pepper
Mills now I know these are going to be a
Splurge for some people but I think this
is obviously something that is a staple
for any kitchen and peppermills are
great because they bring in not only a
new material so you're bringing in brass
or whatever finish you end up going with
you're bringing in that visual interest
aspect which you're giving height to a
space for me I have an all-white very
Stark kitchen this is a builder grade
kitchen and so I have to get really
creative with bringing in different
elements to help soften that so not only
is it functional by being a salt and
pepper mill you are bringing in a brass
element you are bringing in height by
maybe layering two different sizes
they're just really really cool and one
thing I really do enjoy about these
particular peppermills which I got on
Amazon they age they patina so when you
first get them they're super shiny
they're new looking but the more you use
them the more lived in they look and
that is honestly something I really
really love because they're just super
unique okay so for an 8 in Peppermill
it's about $100 these are on Amazon and
the one seller that I got mine from does
have another finish in rose gold so
depending on the person you're buying
for you can either go the brass which is
kind of that traditional stapled look or
you can go the rose gold as well but do
keep in mind they are going to Patina
they're going to age over time they
would make a really great gift for that
person that maybe doesn't want to spend
the money on something like that but
would be really great addition to their
kitchen countertops all right if you are
not looking to spend a ton of money on a
gift for someone a cooking book is a
no-brainer it is something that you
cannot go wrong with they're super
inexpensive you can honestly find them
at TJ Maxx Amazon HomeGoods HomeGoods
has a ton of them this time year with
giftgiving so definitely be on the hunt
for that a few of my favorites are the
Magnolia Home Series I love Sunday
suppers Harvest is a really great one I
gear my cookbooks around Aesthetics as
well so I'm looking at the book I'm
looking at the spine I'm looking if it's
going to make sense as far as colors go
within my personal space so there's a
lot of really beautiful cooking books
that are neutral that will honestly go
with any kitchen style for me My love
language is giftgiving so when I'm
putting together a gift for someone I
like to do kind of bundles so if you're
going to do a cooking book maybe pair a
an oven mitt with it or some fresh
utensils and kind of gift it together
wrap it in cellophane and there you go
you have a wonderful gift for someone
that maybe you don't know all that well
or one you just don't want to spend that
much money on and you can pick these up
super cheap from anywhere so that's the
next so this next kitchen item isn't
necessarily a must but I love these in
my kitchen I think they add so much
visual interest I get questions on them
all the time and that is mortars so I'm
going to give you guys two different
scenarios or two different examples I
have my vintage marble ones that I got
on Etsy these are from Europe and they
are just stunning they add visual
interest they add a different material
because they are marble and I use them
for different purposes right now I have
my fresh cranberries in there and some
fresh cloves just for the holiday season
but you could use this as a pinch you
could also use this as a way to house
maybe smaller fruit like limes or lemons
Within These bowls and just have it on a
beautiful showcase within your kitchen
now I understand marble mortars that
come from Europe are a little bit more
of an investment so this would be
something for someone you're going to
want to splurge on but for those of you
who don't want to go that route I also
have ones that are stone that are way
more inexpensive and they do
just as good of a good job of adding
that visual interest you can use them
for the same reasons a salt pinch dish a
little bould of house maybe garlic or
limes or lemons and they just add so
much character and one thing I really
love about mortars especially vintage is
because they're all different they're
all going to vary in color they're all
going to vary in shape they just add
that unique touch that sometimes our
kitchens crave so that's the next item
all right the next item is cutting
boards you can go one of two ways with
cutting boards you can go the Vintage
route which you guys will see within my
b-rolls I showcase my beautiful vintage
cutting boards I have them in various
sizes I have them in various patinas
these are cutting boards solely for
looks I would not recommend utilizing
these for any reason these are honestly
just Decor elements but they really
bring this lived in used just really
cool Feeling Again to my very white
Stark kitchen now those range from
anywhere from 60 to 100 plus dollars
depending on the size that you go and
obviously the seller varies as well
second route is you guys can new cutting
board route which you can find those for
like $20 at HomeGoods HomeGoods has the
best selection of cutting boards
honestly different shapes I've gotten
some of my few checkerboard ones from
there and I love them now again coming
back to the whole gifting and having a
gift bundle if you're planning on going
The Cutting Board route I would maybe
pair something else with it something
that makes sense you could do a cooking
book with a cutting board you could do
utensils with a cutting board if they're
a baker you can add some measuring
spoons I kind of bundle it together so
it makes sense and you're kind of
creating a story for a gift so
definitely have cutting board on your
list I think another thing too I want to
add really quickly is you can hop on
Etsy Etsy has cutting boards that you
can have custom made so you can have
maybe Grandma's recipe that she wrote on
a card engraved on the actual cutting
board itself which is beautiful I'll
make sure to leave like an image of that
and I think that is such a heartfelt
wonderful gift idea for that person that
maybe wants to take it a step further
and do something a little bit more
personable definitely check out Etsy for
a more customizable cutting board look
all right the next item is definitely a
Splurge item so if you are looking to
invest in a great gift for someone this
holiday season a Kitchen Aid mixer is an
iconic home appliance that I think any
kitchen lover would be thrilled to
receive now I have two of them I
recently got a beautiful green one with
the beautiful limited edition wooden B
and it just makes me so happy I love
having it on at my kitchen countertops
they're not only a Decor element but
they're functional as well I use them
when I'm baking with my kids and I think
every woman or man would be absolutely
thrilled to receive one of these
KitchenAid mixer has been around since
1919 so they're obviously very good at
what they do they make great products
they have really great warranty on their
items as well they have unlimited amount
of attachments so you can use it not
only just for baking but grounding up
meat I mean the list goes on but if if
you are planning to buy a KitchenAid
mixer for someone I would definitely
make sure you know their style because
obviously they come in a variety of
different colors and so you definitely
want to buy something that's going to
have longevity maybe not you know a hot
pink one something that's going to be a
classic Timeless look but I definitely
think Kitchen Aid mixer is a great gift
these range anywhere from $350 upwards
of 700 depending on which style you get
which color if it's limited edition Etc
that is the next item on our list so the
next item is not like something that's
super fancy or a wow gift but I
definitely think kitchen towels is
something every person needs in their
home we get mine get thrashed personally
after so many uses and so many washes
they start to get dingy they start to
get yellowed from just discoloration of
you know cleaning our hands and whatnot
so I definitely think a kitchen towel is
something every person in the kitchen
will need you can pick these up at TJ
Maxx HomeGoods some boutiques online
carry some more unique ones and they
obviously vary from $5 at HomeGoods to
$15 to $20 at any Boutique and like I've
mentioned in our previous topics
bundling this so you could serve this
kitchen towel with a beautiful cooking
book wrap it in cellophan and put a bow
on it there you go you can serve it with
a bottle of wine so I'm all about
creating a gift that has multiple items
in it and they don't need to be
expensive just get creative wrap it in
cellophane and call it a day so
definitely adding kitchen towels as a
more inexpensive gift for those of you
who are going to be going to a party or
some of maybe you just don't know all
that well so that's the next it all
right and the very last item on this
kitchen lover home decor gift guide is
an olive oil decanter now obviously this
is a staple item that everybody's going
to have in their kitchen this is
something super easy super inexpensive
the one that I Showcase in my B- rules
it's from Amazon I believe I paid
roughly $25 or $28 it's very inexpensive
comes with a wooden top and I just
really liked it for its shape I think a
really fun gift to do with the olive oil
decanters maybe pair it with a really
nice bottle of olive oil you could even
get like a little sprig of Olive and
tide on there with twine you can get
super creative again this might be a
gift for someone you don't know all that
well maybe you know they really love
cooking this would be a really fun
option to give to someone and it's not
going to break the bank so again the
last item on this kitchen lover gift
guide is an olive oil to Candy all right
you guys and that is it for today's
video I hope you enjoyed my kitchen
lover gift guide again these are all
tried and true I own them I love them
and I hope that you guys get some ideas
for gifting this holiday season I plan
to give you guys a few more of these
gift guides if you are looking for some
inspiration if you're looking for some
fun ideas on some different gifts so
definitely stay tuned for that but until
the next video I love you guys so much
thank you for being here happy holidays
we'll see you guys soon peace
