This channel covers a lot of motorcycle vlog type of content. We talk about all things motorcycles, product review, video editing, and cinematic type of sequences. I ride a 2020 Harley Davidson Road Glide Special and we travel to as many motorcycle rallies and other events throughout the year.
Hello and welcome to day five of the 12 Days Behind Bars series. Today we are here with the
Great American Convoy. We are leaving South Dakota and we're going to Mason City, Iowa,
and we've got a big group of riders that are riding out with us. Standby, today should be a
great episode. It just keeps going. All right, so we are still on the road towards Mason City,
Harley-Davidson for the Great American Convoy. We just had a little bit of a mishap. We had a
rider go down. We have very limited information right now, but that's always worrisome. I guess
the police and ambulance are already on scene and the riders that were with that group were already
told to kind of move on. And that's not something that we saw, that was just something that we heard
about on the road. We jammed up ahead of the pack to get some drone shots and some other footage
before they left the gas station and I guess it happened right after that. I am hoping and praying
that everybody's okay. You know, it's enough to get an ambulance there, but hopefully that's just
a precaution. But those are things that now weigh heavy on all of our minds as we have a, you know,
brother or sister down. I've got very limited information on it. This came in from Shutterbug,
who is up here on my left, and he's kind of keeping in contact with
everybody in the front and the back of the convoy and the road captain. So that's what we have right
now. You know, just another reminder for safety. So we're going to continue pushing on, but you
know, hopefully we can get some likes, maybe some comments down for the rider that went down
out here for a good cause. And, you know, sometimes bad things happen, so I'll try to
keep you guys updated once we get more information. All right, it's called the Great American Convoy.
We are all convoying together all the way to Milwaukee, stopping by different Harley-Davidson
dealerships along the way. And Adam has been doing this for, I think this is what, one...
Hey Scott, is this 117? Yeah, three left. Yeah, so this can be like 117 and 118, all to raise money
for the Wounded Warrior Project. So his goal is $500,000, and you know something?
I think he's going to hit it and beat it.
Okay, I got to share something with you guys before we leave. So during yesterday's ride,
I felt like a little piece of dirt get in my eyewear contacts. And last night, I took out
those contacts, and that dirt probably got underneath my lens, and I scratched my cornea. So
it is terrible. It's been very, very sensitive to light today. It's been really difficult to get
the regular type of footage I've been getting because I'm so sensitive to light right now. So
bear with me. All right, so we're in the town of Albert Lee. We're going to stop for lunch.
Obviously, we have too big of a group for all of us to be here, so we're kind of spread out
all over the place. And hopefully, I can get you an update on the rider that went down here in
just a second, just to, you know, that's kind of weighing on everybody's mind. But we're going to
continue to push on, push forward, get to the dealership, and raise more money for the Wounded
Warrior Project. So we officially made it to Mason City Harley-Davidson, where now everybody's
going to come in, where we're going to try to raise as much money as we can for the Wounded
Warrior Project. So let's go ahead and get into that right now. Obviously, if you watched yesterday's
video, you know I got a little bit wet in that my rain gear did not really hold up very well.
Actually, it held up zero percent. So that means I got to swap it out. So I'm going to take a look
inside. Probably going to get some new rain gear. Let's go. All right, what's the problem here?
We're tired. Over $14,000 was raised today. We're now leaving the dealership, and it's time to get
over to the hotel, where we get to hang out with all these great riders. Pretty cool, pretty cool
experience, you guys. At the hotel, going to get unloaded. I got a lot of editing to do, but I hope
you guys are enjoying this series. And until next time, you guys ride safe, you be safe, and I'll
catch you on the next one.
