Without Pippen, Michael Jordan Did All the Scoring (1997.12.29)

He's the middle man, he's the postman, looking for somebody down that baseline and if I can get him a good target. That's pretty basketball, John. That's two of them that he's found Michael with underneath the basket. Driving, you know, and trying to draw attention to the farmer's needs. Very quickly by Burrell, he was there in a heartbeat. Finley missed that. Take a look at this, Michael gets up on Hubert Davis. Bradley was illegal and MJ got it anyway. Hesitation comes inside, he's got it, and he is fouled. Michael Finley said that was on the ground with five fouls. Finley gets double teamed here. After he gets double teamed, he slides up in between, lets it fly. Randy Brown will check in. Eric Collins standing by. Michael Jordan standing by. MJ with Hubert Davis on him. Stops fires from the wing and in. Dennis up high for the screen goal. Michael stops, fades away from Tennessee. 17 rebounds. Yes, Michael with a little floater over the top. You would think they would miss Luke in a situation like this. Nine made free throws in career high. Michael stops, takes a jumper and in. And Nellie wanted a walk call. He didn't get it, MJ got it. It's off the screen, finds Steve Kerr. Baseline MJ, good ball movement. Walker with five points now to go with five rebounds. MJ puts it up and in. Kerr thought about it, now Michael will shoot. And Nelson wants a timeout. Nine for 14. Six at five. MJ with a jumper, right side hits. Michael for 15 hits. Game, set, match. 27 rebounds.
