HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE | What's Worth Your Money!!!

Hey guys, welcome to today's video. I did an excessive amount of holiday shopping. Got this, we got some Neiman's, we got things to discuss. Surprisingly, shockingly, a lot of stuff caught my eye. She spent a lot of money. We are talking not just exclusively beauty, we are gonna talk a little bit of fashion as well. So this is your holiday gift guide, things that I'm loving, things I'm not loving. Let's dive on in. Straight out the gate, something that I highly, highly, highly recommend from the MAC Holiday Collection this year. Now they have an advent calendar that I have my eye on. I am really tempted to order, but I do wanna tell you guys, $69 value right here. This gift set, whether you purchase it for yourself, which if you are a fix plus lover, which I swear by. I have 30 different face sprays and this is just always the best, best one. I have it right here. It's not cheap, but it's worth it. There's nothing at the drugstore quite like this. They have a holiday duo right here. This is what you get. It is a $69 value. You also get the Studio Radiance Primer, which I am wearing today. I've really, really been enjoying it. It's not overly greasy, shiny, oily. It's a thin texture. It's not a thick cream. Sometimes I like to go in with the big guns and do a thick cream, but if I want something a little bit thinner, this one is beautiful. It also will sheer out your foundation if you wanna turn your foundation into more of a tinted moisturizer. It's the perfect primer to do that with. And this set is such a value and so random that I'm so excited about this, but I had to share. Are we ready to be judgy? Let's be judgy together. I went to Neiman's and I had the best time ever. I was hanging out with all the sales girls, sales guys, and the girl at Tom Ford was so sweet. I was looking for a holiday and not a lot was jumping out at me, but this, are you kidding me? And it doesn't seem like it is the annoying spray over. You guys know that is like a grievance with me. I don't like it when it's just like the Chanel highlighter where it's just like, oh, it's fantastic on the outside, but the inside is garbage. Like she was swatching it and I was just like, ah, I love this. So let's go ahead and do like a swatch. It is just like a pinky balm, but you're gonna get that iridescence like all the way through. If you can see the bullet, all those little iridescent glimmeries, they are still in there. How honestly, I don't know what it is about Tom Ford makeup, but his makeup is like, it just does something. That is so beautiful. It feels really nice on the lips and it's like the perfect shade. If someone gave this to me as a gift, I would love them for it. Like the presentation and everything. Let's see what the other one is. It's like this jelly gold. You know what? I am gonna hold onto this one because it just goes on clear and I am gonna give this one as a gift, but this one, the iridescent pinky thing, so unique, it's limited. I love this. Am I crazy or is that something really, really special? I really, really like it. We're gonna talk about fashion for a moment. I saw this on one of the towers and stopped because I had gotten on that particular day so many people asking me, hey, can we revisit Clinique? Do you still use Clinique? Why don't you ever talk about Clinique? And I was like, gosh, why are so many people asking about Clinique? Like, are they having a moment right now? Like, are they back? Like, what's the deal? But I saw this and I was like, all you Clinique lovers, you're gonna love this one because it's a $357 value for $69. Let's take a peek inside at what you get. Now, a lot of like the advent calendars, which I did purchase the Charlotte Tilbury one. It's right behind me. And honestly, I kind of have a little bit of a, like, why did I do that? I spent like $300 on it. Like, I don't know why I did it. I thought it would be fun to film for a video, but I've actually seen other people already, like, tear into it and I'm like, I'm pretty sure I wasted my money. Anyway, this one I think is gonna be worth, what, $67? I think it'll be worth it. What a great case you get. That's really fabulous. This is what reeled me in. Oh my gosh, and it's like a giant tub of it. This is such a phenomenal cleansing balm. Why is this so giant? 8.5 ounces. This is amazing. A little bit goes a long way. If you've never experienced the joy of taking your makeup off with this particular balm, it's one of the best. This is actually a fantastic mascara. I have not used this in a hot minute. I wanna try that one again. Don't make fun of my nails. Actually, you know what? I'm gonna go ahead and say. I'm having a moment. For the first time in my life, I kind of feel like the bare nails are kind of sexy. Am I like, is this just like an age thing? Someone tell me. But like, there's something that I feel, I feel like natural woman, but still like glamorous. And I love nail polish. Do not get me wrong. You'll probably see me wearing nail polish in the next video. But I was kind of like shaping my nails after my whole like nail drama. And I was like, I just feel kind of like not putting anything on them. Like letting them breathe a little bit. What do you think? Black honey. This I'm giving to my mom. So good. It always makes me think of her. I love taking gift sets and kind of piling everything together and making like, obviously because I review product, like I'm able to do this. But I, in the past have always said, make stockings out of like gift sets. Like just pick one item from like a giant thing like this and like some candies or something cute and a little stocking. It's always a winner to do that. Like, and you get a lot of mileage out of, you know, putting things together when you're buying gift sets. Okay, this is actually a fantastic moisturizer as well. This is the auto replenishing hydrator. I do remember this being a good one. It's like a jelly, like a satisfying gel texture in there. Would probably be an incredible makeup base. What is this? Smart clinical repair wrinkle correcting serum. So you're getting a lot of like full-size skincare in here, which is pretty awesome. All about eyes, reduces circles and puffs and puffiness. It just says puffs. Reduce those puffs. Get out of here. This is actually, I don't know if this is the full size or not. It is fragrance free. I love that. Allergy tested. Great for contact lens wearers. A little bit goes a long way with eye cream. So when you get a tube like this, it's gonna last you a long time. Okay, I'm gonna gift this one, but like how sweet is that? This is just like the perfect on the go. Pop it in your purse. I love this. Fun fact, Sabrina, my sister who's a teacher, used to work at the clinic counters. So I remember all the clinic product that she would get and they're a solid brand. They are. They don't get a lot of play online, but I was attracted to this and I thought we would give it a go. I approve. This is something that is definitely worth it. I love the Natasha Denona minis. And how adorable is this? The I Need a Nude Kit. I think this would work for so many people. Let's take a closer peek. If you've ever wanted to try Natasha Denona and experience her formula, but you don't wanna buy the big palettes or you know, a makeup lover and you wanna pick out something that'll be impressive. But again, you don't wanna spend like, you know, crazy money. This is such a nice option. You get such a beautiful, like all you need trio. And then in here, we are also getting, what do we get? A gorgeous liner. Let's swatch this one. Ooh, that's a good color. I'm gonna wear that tomorrow. That is actually so beautiful. This is gorgeous. The Macro Tech Eye Crayon in Taupe. Why have I never seen this one? Oh my gosh. And that like, that dries down. Like you gotta work fast. I'm trying to rub it right now and it's actually like not letting me. All right. If you're looking for a long wear one, this is gonna do you good. We're just gonna, I'm ruining it. We're gonna swatch this. We're just going for it. Why not? I wanna see. I'm intrigued. Yes, this is beautiful. It's giving everything you need for a quick, everyday, natural, but a little bit something extra with that shimmer type of a thing. Also, thank you to everyone that complimented the lighting. It really made my day. We're gonna keep it here for a while until I get restless. And I'm like, I'm gonna try and make it better. But I'm happy. You guys are like, we can see your pores. And I'm like, yay. Yay. MAC. I brought this home and I was like, oh, this is so cute. And had immediate regrets over it. Looking at this, I mean, I'm gonna try and figure it out. I'll try to figure it out. Looking at this, I don't think the color story is that great. I don't know what I was on at Nordstrom. Like what in the heck? Over-caffeinated perhaps. I did hit up Nordstrom Cafe. I love Nordstrom Cafe so much. What do you guys get there? It always makes the trip to the mall so much better. They have like a maple latte that is freaking phenomenal. Let's watch this. Okay, that actually, I changed my mind. That's beautiful. What I don't get is this color story is a little all over the place. And I was attracted to it. Like this is what happens when I shop. I do this with clothes too. I'm attracted to things in the mall. And then I come home and I'm like, ugh. That's pretty. I don't like all the colors together. Yo, what is happening? I put peppermint oil in my water. I think it was a mistake. Wait, why am I drinking this? She's a lady. You tell me. Do you like this $34? I'm kind of back into Mac. No joke. I have this deep desire to try everything Mac. To build a big, huge palette with all my old faves. To go back into the lip liners and the lipsticks. And I just, it's like an intense desire. You'll probably see that from me soon. I love Mac formulation on their shadows. And this just kind of, it made its way. Now this is also super, super cute too. Have we seen this? I try to find things that maybe you don't see online a ton. Now this says that it is a $99 value for 42 bucks. I'm really attracted to the lipsticks in here. Maybe we try those really quick. Because I love this formula. Oh my gosh, you guys. This formula is to die for. This is so good. This is number two, Bare Pop. Wait, which one do I have? Nope, I have a different one. I have Blushing Pop. I'm gonna swatch it for you anyway, you guys. This formula is something else. If you're looking for just a quality lipstick, these are so insane. The one that I purchased is more matte. This more shimmery one is looking a lot like the same color. This is what comes in the kit. This is shade Bare Pop. I'm gonna put this on with the lip liner. Let's test it out. The lip liner you get in here is called Intense Blush. Beautiful. Gorgeous. Really excited to try this. That is like the perfect natural pink. It has a nice little amount of shine to it. I love that. You also get a mascara in here. It is a smaller, little high-impact mascara. You get a liquid liner in here as well. You do also get a full-size, high-impact shadow duo of these. This is like the lazy girl makeup move of the century. You kind of just pop this on the lid, smoke out the lash line, and you are good. Good, good. What a great little set. Okay, we have a couple more. We have a couple more. Now, this I got at Ulta, not Nordstrom, but I thought it was so cute. You guys, they have these little like, it looks like an energy drink. You get a bad gal lash. You get a Porefessional and a Hoola bronzer. How does this open? Oh. Love the packaging. I think this would be such a great gift for a makeup lover. And they're like cute little babies. That is really cute. Why did I buy this? This brought me back to my childhood. That's probably why. $45 value for 29 bucks. My gateway drug into loving makeup was my mom's Mary Kay samples. And anytime I see like little baby lipsticks, I just feel like a child again. Natasha Denona liner does not wanna come off. You're gonna need oil. You're gonna need the Clinique Take the Day Off is what you're gonna need. Oh my gosh. I'm so lucky. I don't even know. I don't even know how, like this whole bullet just like flung right at the white silk top and somehow didn't leave a mark. Less it. Okay. Let's do some swatches. These are pretty. Really beautiful. These are the Lusterglass lipsticks. So they have that nice sheen to them. They almost look a little glossy and I like the colors that you get in there. And then I did also grab this one. I was just really attracted to a lot of the smaller little lip products. $66 value for 30 bucks. I love Bobbi Brown glosses and I don't have a lot in my collection. And I just thought that these three were so cute. I am gonna try the glittery one on right now. This is crushed oil infused gloss. This is in rose metal. They have two different varieties. This was the one that just really caught my eye. Now what I like about Bobbi Brown glosses is a little goes a long way. You do not need to glop these glosses on. They will do the job with just one swipe. So you don't have to like, like get in there and like glop it on for it to really sink in and give you that vinyl beautiful shine and feeling on the lips. They're a less is more application in my opinion. I wasn't joking that I did purchase this advent calendar. I am gonna open it up, just not in this video. Ah, I just don't know that it's worth it. I kind of was like, I don't want to know what's in it. And then I saw online and I was like, shoot. And leave me in the comments. Do you think it's worth it or no? I will say this. They gave me cute samples. Probably the tiniest, ittiest, bittiest lipstick I've ever seen in my whole life. Like if we thought that this was a mini, oh no, oh no. And you guys know how I feel about mini everything, like the minis, I just think dollhouse, furniture, tiny little miniatures. I don't know why it's like, like scratches my brain in a weird way. Look at this. Is that not so cute? It's so cute. It came in its own little like box. If I was a kid, oh my gosh. If someone gave this to me as a child for Christmas, I would lose my mind. I used to go and harass all the makeup counter ladies and ask for samples and like the journey and joy of loving cosmetics started when I was so small. I kid you not. I don't know what genetically is in my design, but I have always loved makeup so much. It's like, you know how everyone's having a fit about children and Sephora. Like there's a part of me, I'm like, I can't comment on this because like me, like I was like that and that's without any social media or anything. I just naturally just like loved it. So these little teeny tiny, like this is like a little, this is a lip gloss. It's the lip blur. That's so cute. I think it's cute. All right, I do also have a blush product from Natasha Denona, Shenona Denona. I really want to swatch this. Gorge. Let's try her. Pro tip, I've really been loving doing my powder blush, like after I finished my lip and eye and I find if you have issues with blush placement, it's easier to see once everything is like done done. I'm going like a little bit higher these days, not under the eye, but kind of in this area right here and I think it looks better, like lifts the face. Don't be afraid also when you're applying your blush, if you have to turn your head a little bit in the mirror, don't be afraid of that either. You want to be looking cute from all angles. You know what I'm saying? Okay, that's gorgeous. Let's get in this highlight and live our best. Ooh, yes, wow, a little much. Whoa, she got carried away. She got really, that was not expecting. I love that, I love that. You know how I've been complaining about highlighters for a hot minute? This is doing so much to just make the skin gorgeous, juicy, reflective without being powdery and exaggerating of what I don't want exaggerated. That's really special. I love that.
