DHS ITTF Top 10 - 2018 German Open

The point of the match is match point once again. A pat on the back, smiles all around and some standing ovations in the crowd. A brilliant point. Where is this going to be on the top ten? Not will it be in the top ten, but where in the top ten? If you're in the crowd right now waving congratulations, you might have just made the highlight video. The title goes to the Chinese pairing, the Cloudwalker, the Dragon, Whoa, look at that, a chop roller. He just hit it around the net for a roller with backspin from short pips on the forehand side. I don't think I've ever seen that on the world tour. Look at this one more time. No, deliriously. Is there any table tennis fan who doesn't want to marry Timo Boll right now after that shot? This whole point on the back of the table. And as soon as there's an opening, he races through the door. Wow, Timo forever. Incredible rally jumping on both wings. This is the consistent backhand that makes Wang Chu-Ting the best reverse penhold backhand in the game right now. Under pressure, battles power for power with Ma Long on the run. Oh, wow. Kasumi, that boomerang shot from the backhand that hooked back onto the table for Mu Yang was magical. The crowd just gasping in Kasumi Ishikawa wakes back up to continue the point and then finishes with that murderous. Oh, down the line, Timo Boll, the magic comes out under pressure. There's a little hole on the table, just big enough for 40 millimeters plus. And that's where Timo hits it right down the line. No! No, table tennis, this is where it's going. This is how human beings are evolving. How strong, how many times can you hit the ball this hard and still bring it back, changing the angle? Oh, a miss! The price of admission right there, seeing that point live. I can't even recall everything that happened in this. Xu Xin on the run with the traditional backhand. Look at this heavy side spin, chop the swooper, played a drop shot. And Ma Long recovers the point to earn match point four times over. That's the one Xu Xin magic does not bother Ma Long. Drop shot to follow.
