How HoYeon Jung Kept it Light On Set of "Squid Game" | E! Red Carpet & Award Shows

With me now is one of the nominated stars of the number one Netflix series of all time, honey. We're it's a beer up in here. Squid Game. It's Jung Ho Yeon. I'm obsessed with Squid Game. Completely obsessed and it's so incredible to meet you. Now you started your career in modeling and now Squid Game was your very first acting role. How does it feel to be working alongside such incredible actors and to be nominated here tonight along such incredible talent? It's just indescribable like feeling and you know it's just it's been so quick so I can't really digest this feeling and vibe and everything but it's just such an honor to be here and then to be nominated with my Squid Game members. You were so good in the show. Now I have I would be remiss if I did not comment on how stunning you look tonight. What is the story you're telling us with this incredible look tonight? Oh my god you just look incredible. So this dress is actually made by Louis Vuitton. I heard that. So I wanted to create a look that was very glamorous but also mixed in Korean traditional aspects as well and so we actually made this dengue. It's a hair piece and so they created that for us as well for this look. Oh yes Vuitton here at the SAG Awards. I'm living, I'm dying, I'm gasping. It's incredible. Now I have to be honest after the first episode of Squid Game I had to pause. I had to stop. I like didn't know if I could get through it. I had to like disassociate and the next day I continued to binge the show and got and it's amazing. With such an intense show how did you keep it light on set? How did you keep from getting you know because it's a really intense project you were working on. You mean like a little how can I manage on the set? How did or were you able to keep it light when the material is so serious? I mean people were dying all around you and it was very intense for us viewers. How did you keep it light for yourself or could you? Oh that's I never thought about that. Even though in my real life because I never thought about like watching someone dying in front of me but I kind of keep like imagining things even though before I go to bed like normal days but it wasn't like impact to my real life that much. It's more about I think imaginations and thoughts and you know like once you go on the set you kind of just got in. You were able to lift it to your imagination so you didn't take it so personally. Yeah but once we finished the set we kind of released everything and then we had drinks together with the crews and co-actors and then talking about the scene we had. Fantastic. Yeah. Fantastic.
