Boston Celtics vs Minnesota Timberwolves Full Game Highlights | Nov 24, 2024 | FreeDawkins

And welcome into Boston. We've got some matinee basketball. High-profile matchup. The Timberwolves taking on the team with the second-best record in the East. The defending champion, Boston Celtics. I think McKeel coming off the bench is kind of better for our team scoring-wise. Taylor Brown has not shot the ball quick from outside the arc, but he knocks down that slot three right there. When you look at that Jalen Brown shot, you see a lot of red. It looks like the Chicago Bulls' tournament quarters. He knocks that one down. That's a good sign for Minnesota. Kick-out, extra pass. Brown for three. Come on. Career lows so far this season for Jalen Brown. Early. He checked. My goodness. Oh, he just said, check that with you. It's 15-6, Jalen Brown with the early lead. Miranda to the rim. And they're firing up anything. Again, they'll fire 53s of all game. Edwards will shoot 10 again. Knocks down his first three, and Joe Mizzoula calls time. Nice rim attack there. Not much resistance from the Celtics' defense. Dillingham in the game for Minnesota. In some cases out of necessity with Mike Conley out, but I'd love to see him get these minutes. Here he is on the drive. Flips it up and in. It's an important matchup, though, with Pritchard, who's averaging 15 points per game off the bench. Much improved from a season ago when he had a career year. There he is. Edwards working on Tillman. Double crossover. Penetrates. Got it to go with the left. Oh, cook it early. Hauser for three. No. Gobert. One more rebound in the entire Celtics' team. Dillingham. Got it to go. Brown finding Holliday, and that one drops. The Celtics shooting just 32% in this opening quarter. Edwards over to him. Cut him, Gobert, for the flush. Brown over to Pritchard for three. Good. You've got to rotate all the way to him, man. You can't just stunt at him like that. He's too good a shooter, especially in spot-up situations. Over to Pritchard. Penetrating, setting up Hauser for three. Tatum, nobody rotating. Dillingham was guarding two. I mean, that's just disappointing rotation right there. Kick out to Randle. Got a three. Randle, seven points now. Here's Julius Randle. Attacks the hoop right there. Nine points for Randle. Alexander Walker gives it back to Randle. Oh, the elevator doors opened up. Knocks in the lay, and he has 11. Pritchard left open. No good on the three. Tapped out by Hauser. Tatum, the three. DiVincenzo for three. Big sequence. They nearly turned it over. Instead, it gets back to DiVincenzo for the tray. Tatum on the drive, scoops it up and in. DiVincenzo no good on the layup. Here's Pritchard now across the timeline. Horford catching fire. Seventh oldest active player in the NBA making an impact on both ends, but Randle got the better of him on that exchange. Bucket and the foul. Horford again. Good again. 11 three-pointers now for the Celtics. Horford shadowing him. Nice step back. Edwards good. Long rebound to Brown. Here's White. In and out and in. Outside DiVincenzo. No good. Gobert offensive board. Gobert puts it up and through. How about 11 rebounds in the first half for Rudy Gobert? The guys have been waiting a long time if DiVincenzo gets the bucket in the paint. Edwards on the drive. No one there at the rim. Easy lay in for Edwards. Edwards splits the defense, sets up DiVincenzo. Bottoms. 9-0 Minnesota run, and they're within three. Here's Tatum firing and hitting. Crazy how much elevation he gets. You talk about a guy that has a high release point. And rebound White. Horford the other way. Easy flush. Tatum. Outside, extra pass. Brown for three. Good. Here's White from deep. Good. He's averaging 18 points per ballgame. Tatum. Big three. Oh, jacked it out of bounds. Derek White. Gobert. The follow slam stops the Celtics' run. Here's Edwards. Nearly lost the handle. Looks up at the clock. The decel. Has it blocked by White. And a foul by Edwards will be his third. Horford. Holliday. Quick trigger. Again, this is the man they need to get going. Two words. Off glass. Down 14. Down 17. I mean, that was ridiculous. Barely hit the net. Rainbow three. And now they're up to their largest lead of the game again. The Wolves get some points here. Down by 17. Edwards. Good. Entered this ballgame second in the NBA in three-pointers made. Edwards again. Boom. And actually shoots better off the dribble than he does in catching shoot situations. Here's Holliday on the drive. Short hook. Drops over three. Pritchard. Count it. And the foul. Well, four seconds between shot clock and game clock. Dillingham through traffic. Puts it up and throws six for the rookie. I like the spacing of the current modern game as Nas knocks down a three. That's a great thing to have happen coming out of the timeout. So big. Dillingham. No one's going to step up. He says thank you very much. Dillingham. Around a reach. Green. Driving. Flips it up. Oh. Dilly going ham on the Celtics. Eleven points off the bench for the rookie. Brown. Push off. Rises and connects. Brown. Puts it up. Off glass for two. Dillingham for three. No good. Quickly up ahead. White. Releasing. Hanging and scoring. Here's Dillingham. Splits the defense. Oh. The acrobatic layup won't go. Offensive board. They rotate it. Reed on the drive. Outside. Dillingham. Three ball. Corner pocket. Rudy Gobert will check in. Next dead ball. Brown. Outside. White. He's deadly. Edwards. On the attack. Outside. DiVincenzo. For three. Edwards. From beyond the arc. White. The discard and lay with the left. 97-91. Wolves will have to tighten up that defense against this explosive Celtics off base. Alexander Walker. Inside. Tatum. The size advantage. Bucket. And the foul. Brown. Puts it up and it drops. McDaniels. Down the lane. Guided it in. White will hit. Will fire and hit. From long range. There's White. 19. Edwards. The answer. Here we go. Randall nearly lost it. Got it back. Quick pass. McDaniels. The hammer. Missed opportunity for the Wolves. They'll have to play defense. Brown. Going. You've got to be kidding me. Unbelievable. Always seems to be a Timberwolves killer. DiVincenzo. Leaves it for Randall. Randall. Off glass. It drops. Daylon Brown. Step back. No. Rebound. DiVincenzo. Chris Finch calls timeout. It's in to Edwards. Wolves down by two. Edwards. On the attack. Turns the corner. Kick out. Extra pass. Reed beat the horn. It won't go. Celtics win. Yeah.
