When I first heard about the Kumari Temple in Kathmandu, the idea of a living goddess who holds such power and reverence in Nepal deeply fascinated me. It made me reflect on the incredible strength of women in this beautiful country, where even in ancient traditions, female energy is seen as a divine force. This sparked a desire in me to explore the real, everyday heroines who are shaping Nepal’s future.

In this documentary, I had the privilege of speaking with inspiring women from all walks of life—entrepreneurs, educators, activists—who are breaking barriers and redefining what it means to be a woman in Nepal today. Their stories are raw, powerful, and full of resilience. They are challenging cultural norms, overcoming personal struggles, and paving the way for future generations of women.
I hope it inspires you as much as their stories inspired me.
