The Georgetown Lions Club is proud to announce the annual Santa Claus Parade, scheduled for November 16, 2024, at 5:00 PM. This cherished tradition, ongoing since 1932, brings the community together to celebrate the holiday season.

The parade will commence on Sinclair Avenue, proceed west on Guelph Street to Mill Street, continue through historic Downtown Georgetown, and conclude at the Georgetown Fairgrounds Park. Spectators can look forward to a vibrant display of floats, marching bands, and, of course, an appearance by Santa Claus.

The Georgetown Lions Club encourages attendees to support the Georgetown Bread Basket Food Bank by bringing non-perishable food items or making cash donations. While the Town of Halton Hills provides assistance, the Lions Club is fully responsible for organizing and funding the parade.

Community members interested in participating are invited to register a float, whether as a family, group of friends, or organization. No prior experience is necessary. Additionally, volunteers are welcome to assist with various tasks on the day of the event, offering a unique perspective of the parade.
