Newmarket Santa Claus Parade On Saturday, November 16, 2024 #Facinatingcity #Santa

The Town of Newmarket is excited to host its annual Santa Claus Parade on Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The parade will commence at the intersection of Eagle Street and Lorne Avenue, proceed east along Eagle Street, and then head north on Main Street, concluding at Ontario Street.

Attendees are encouraged to bring letters for Santa, which will be collected by Canada Post representatives and Parade Marshals during the event. Additionally, non-perishable food items will be collected along the parade route to support the Newmarket Food Pantry.

Please be aware of the following road closures on the day of the parade:

- **8:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.:** Cane Parkway/Lorne Avenue from William Roe Boulevard to Lorne Avenue.
- **8:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.:** Andrew Street from Dennie Avenue to Ellen Street.
- **10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.:** Eagle Street/Water Street from Helmer Avenue to Prospect Street.
- **10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.:** Main Street from Water Street to Davis Drive.

These closures are necessary to ensure the safety of participants and spectators.
