NEUTRAL Christmas Decorate With Me 2024 / Nordic Holiday Decorating Ideas Made Easy!

Hey everyone! I hope you're all having a beautiful day so far. If you are new, hello and welcome. My name is Emily and today we are doing a little bit more Christmas decorating. I'm really excited because we get to move into the house hopefully next week so we're going to start decorating that for Christmas and I'm so excited but I really just want to say thank you to Walmart for sponsoring this video. I have found some beautiful items to decorate the cottage and my house for Christmas time. If you guys know, Walmart has just hit it out of the park this year with all their Christmas decor. It is just so good and so today I'm going to be using all Walmart Christmas decor to decorate the cottage and it's beautiful and I found some new pieces to share with you. They have so many beautiful items online and they have really fast shipping so you can get it. Things are going fast so if you are still working on decorating and everything, definitely be sure to grab these items quickly. I will have everything linked in the description box below for you as well as in the comments so it makes it easy but whether you are hosting for the holidays just trying to get your house ready for the holidays or you just want a couple simple Christmas decorating touches, Walmart is the place to go and I hope you enjoy today's Christmas decorate with me. I'm excited to show you everything I have come up with for the cottage and hopefully you will be able to recreate some of the ideas too. So let's go ahead and get started Christmas decorating. As we are moving into the house soon, I decided to take out the oversized sofa at the cottage and take that with us to the new house. I really like it. It's extremely comfortable and I can build on it and it technically was a little bit oversized for the cottage so I'm just going to be adding two simple side chairs in here. They swivel. The place really only holds two people so I think this works out really nicely and then we have the extra bench in the entryway that works out well. I thought this would be a nice way to add the Christmas tree in so this Christmas tree is more of a focal point and it's still fun and festive. For the entryway, we're going to dress it up with this beautiful garland from Walmart. It's a beautiful cedar garland. My Texas house has a beautiful collection for Christmas time on Walmart and I ended up getting the beautiful pillow cover. It is so pretty. It's velvet but I love the stitching detail in the trees and I thought oh this would be really beautiful and then I also ordered this one and the red is so gorgeous. It is so soft. The back is a beautiful like suede velvet. It is beautiful and this is also, I believe, a cover too. It is and it's soft and squishy and all her pillows are super affordable. I love them and they're just really really pretty. She's got even some really unique shapes and everything so you guys know Walmart has just hit out of the park this year and if you want to see more of their Christmas decor and everything, I've done so many different videos on it so definitely be sure to check those out because they have been my number one shopping area. They have been my one-stop shop this year for Christmas decor. They've done such a good job this year. They're so good so I wasn't going to add red in here but I might. I might save this for the house. I'm really excited so I'm planning on doing reds in the house. I also found this beautiful faux fur pillow on Walmart. It is a beautiful like creamy fur color. It is so soft. It's oversized. It's soft and like squishy. It's also a cover which is fantastic. This one is so good. They always have different faux fur ones each year but this one is fantastic and if you want any of these items, they're all in the description box below as well as in the comments. Make life simple for you in case you want to grab any of these because they're going to go quick. Christmas decor is flying off the shelves so make sure you grab it. Online has a good selection so I thought this would be really pretty even though it is similar color to these chairs. It really just makes everything super cozy for winter so just make sure you remove the tags. Gotta grab yourself the fur blanket. These are such great options. They are so affordable and they are just really beautiful and just buttery soft. You just want to wrap yourself in this teddy bear blanket. It is so good so I really like this one because you can see the textured detail on it. This one comes I think in like eight different color options so I chose this chocolatey color because I wanted a little bit more like cozy and a little bit more like a woodsy theme but it's got the soft velvet on the back side but look at the texture this blanket gives. Oh gorgeous. I thought was really cool. They're battery operated so they're only for indoor use but they light up are these stars. Isn't that cool and I guess they just cinch together. Hold on here. So you cinch it together like oopsie let me get the hang of this. Is this harder to do one-handed than I thought it was going to be? Okay okay oh that's why. Okay so I've got to stick this piece some directions for this and you just turn the lights on it's a star and I have these beautiful crocheted stockings that'll look good. Next idea I really want to do in the new house but since we can't move in yet I'm gonna try it out here at the cottage but you're gonna need ornaments. Any ornaments will do. Find the ones that you like the best. I love these ones from My Texas House. They are so pretty. I have the ones from last year and I cannot help myself because this this year they're shatter proof again but they look so good. You're going to grab yourself some fishing string or wire whatever you want to call it. I just pulled it right off the fishing pole so that's what you're going to do too and you're going to keep it very simple here. You're just going to tie a simple knot in it if you can see the string. Try to do clear. You could do maybe ribbon if you wanted to. I think that would be fine as well but I'd probably use a thinner ribbon because it's going to be harder to get through the ornament loops and then you're going to figure out the length that you want and you're going to just cut it and you're going to repeat that over and over again but look how pretty those are. Isn't that pretty? To pin it to a board that I can put onto the ceiling. If you don't want to do that you can use an extension rod or your curtain rod and hang them from those. So something else that you can do is instead of tying each one on and on individually just tie one at each end of it and then you can adjust it the way you want to but look how pretty those are. The ornaments are gorgeous. They have a beautiful sparkle. Beautiful gold bells that are sold in a set of five. I decided to string them up with the fishing wire and I really like the way that looks over the star. I think it's really really good. I hope you enjoyed today's Christmas decorate with me. What do you think of everything? I love the way the hanging ornaments and the bells look. It is so gorgeous. It's actually something I wanted to do on the front porch for this year. Hang them above the door because we have a glass door and so you can see everything and with the wind blowing I think it'd be so beautiful but I haven't been able to start decorating there yet but hopefully in the next video you will see the new house. I'm so excited to share it with you and everything but I just hope most of all you've gotten some really fun ideas and ways that you can implement simple things and reuse them and you know make them feel fun and festive for the year. You can go over the top or you can keep things simple with just a simple arrangement maybe just putting up a tree and everything. Do what works best for you but I hope you enjoyed today's video.
