Life in houses in harmony with nature

Here we got, we're in the forest.
We're gonna do a home tour today.
It's a 10 by 20, you guys, stucco panel.
This is an ESP panel home that we built
out of door remnants.
This is a popular floor plan we've done.
We actually did a video on this thing
about a year ago, I think.
And we're gonna do another one.
She asked us, you gotta come by
and look at all the changes she's made.
I wanna go through, just, we just pulled up.
And look at the landscaping.
I like how she's underpinned this with the stone.
That's that faux stone, yep.
That faux stone, add a little bit of wood to the front.
She is settled in, man.
Oh, it looks pretty.
The plants, the lights.
It's got a little bit of a garden area here
with some flowers.
A little bed.
Yeah, a little flower bed.
You know what I like about when you come
to a person's house like this?
You gotta, like, just take your time
and look at what they've done.
Their personalities show.
Yeah, all the little stuff.
I've seen this on Facebook about the painted rocks.
Look at that, Randy.
Those are painted rocks.
That's cool.
Aren't they cute?
Yeah, that's what's making this place special, you know?
And you know, her lot, oh my goodness.
Now, this is a regular lot.
Like, everybody else is in this forest.
50 by 60, all right?
That tree was there on the lot when she got here.
Yeah.
Yep.
A little bit of shade, a little bit of sun.
It's everything.
Okay, now see this tree?
It's hanging over her house, right?
And everybody's like, what's he gonna do
about that tree?
It's like, trees are gorgeous.
Now, the potential, yep, has potential
to fall on a house, but you know what?
Incredible tiny homes are built strong.
It will last.
We did have a tree that fell on a house.
And it didn't crush it.
It didn't do anything to it, no.
No, it just hurt the metal a little bit.
And we had a house that the tornado picked it up
and threw it in the Mississippi River and it floated
and saved two people's lives and a dog.
Yep, oh my gosh.
Let's go around here.
I love everybody doing everything outside.
Oh.
Wow.
There she is.
I see her.
Ha ha ha.
Wow.
She added this deck.
Look at the outdoor furniture.
This tree was here fixing it.
Taking what we left behind and she's made it into a home.
Look, Randy, look over here.
Oh yeah.
Look, she spilled a bucket of rocks, Amanda.
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.
Wow.
Neat.
That looks great.
Yeah, you can see back here, she's adding more stuff to it.
She's probably, she's probably getting,
probably getting him to do all the work.
What?
Ha ha ha ha ha.
Neat.
And then, and she's got some privacy fencing
for her neighbor behind.
Yeah, they're all kind of.
Look at this.
That's neat, isn't it?
Oh my gosh, it looks great.
Yeah, making it an entire home.
Yeah, with the, you know, the little bricks to walk on
and everything.
You know what I love about it?
Is that you can take this mod, like if you didn't,
if she hadn't have done any of this,
you would think all you have is your little spot
that you pull up in and you just walk in your house.
Yeah.
If you sit and look at your lot, this is a massive lot
and you can use every inch of it for something.
Go from 50 to 60, the whole bit of it,
and then get with your neighbor
and see what you guys want to come up with.
Oh my gosh, I love the painted rocks.
Man, look at her deck, Amanda.
I see all your solar lights.
Oh yeah, that's right.
Is this a solar?
This is solar here, isn't it?
Now Randy, you'll have to get close to her
so she can hear.
We've only got the one.
Yep, yep.
Yep, that's solar.
My mom got me that at Christmas time.
This one here.
That's beautiful.
And I just put those little.
Perfect.
I love it.
Well, thanks for inviting us back.
Absolutely.
Because I remember when we were here last time,
you said, you wait till my deck's done.
My skirting.
And the skirting, yeah.
Did you get it on Amazon?
Yes, I bought it.
Yeah?
Yeah.
I got a couple.
That's where I got ours.
Oh, the faux stone?
Yeah.
Okay.
I got a couple extra pieces from Alice.
Yep.
So she had some from hers,
and then I had to buy a couple.
Oh, that stuff's perfect.
And they had different styles,
because that's different than what I got,
but they had a bunch to pick from.
Yeah, it's beautiful.
I love it.
Oh, let me get up here and hug you.
Hi.
Hi, I'm Dylan.
How are you?
Oh my gosh.
Let me kind of here.
Take this.
Oh.
And you guys kind of walk through this a little bit.
I only get to see Debra on Facebook.
I've been trying to,
I was going to go on a trip with you guys.
I just, there's never enough.
I know about cruise.
We're waiting for your answer.
We wanted you to go on our cruise.
I might have to go somewhere with them,
because I'd love to go,
because she travels a lot.
Yeah.
Yeah, travels a lot.
Her and her mom and your daughter too.
And they travel around,
not just like in the United States,
we're talking countries.
Was it Vietnam or Thailand?
Thailand.
I got a condo in Thailand.
Yeah.
So you have to come over there.
Well, go over there.
See, I'm going to go to Thailand.
I don't know where it's at,
but I'm going.
She needs at least two weeks off, minimum.
There you go.
See?
Minimum two weeks.
Yeah.
But I love watching it on Facebook
and you're having a great time.
But whenever you come back here,
does this already,
does it feel like home yet?
Yes, definitely home.
Really?
Aww.
I don't want to leave.
I just love it.
I just love it here.
Where were you originally?
Where did you come from that you live permanently?
Arizona.
48 years in Arizona.
48 years.
Yeah.
It's a long time.
It's really hot.
Well, this is not Arizona.
Yeah, so we originally came from Chicago,
Chicago and then New York and then Arizona.
Okay.
So, Arizona is pretty much home,
but now this is home.
Yeah, this feels like home.
Nice.
That is really nice.
Yeah, that's a compliment.
Yeah, it is a compliment.
Especially over here.
All the time that we go for a drive,
it's like seeing all the trees.
That's amazing.
And not only that,
I got my birds.
You know, I post a lot of bird pictures.
The cardinals and everything, yes.
I just had a fight today with a little yellow one
that finally came to my window today
and then the red cardinal tried to come through.
He goes like, no, no, no, this is my turf, go away.
This is my turf, this is mine.
Yeah, so I got the bird feeders in my window there.
So you get plenty of birds.
Do you get a lot of squirrels?
What do you see right here?
Oh yeah, I took one squirrel today picture.
He was like running around here.
I have to post that one too.
I mean, listen to it, Randy.
Can you hear?
Like the birds?
She's got a dry river bed, a creek bed back there.
I love that.
Isn't that neat?
Yeah, I've been working on the rocks.
Step back there and show that, Randy.
And that night time, night time I got the blue lights.
Some blue, you know, the solar lights.
Yes.
I got running like a little lake.
That's so neat that you did that like that.
How cute.
Cause it just accents it.
Yeah, and then it goes into the other creek right there.
Perfect, now I love this
cause more and more people is doing this.
It's, you can't even really see it.
Kimberly back there, she likes that too.
I'm sure you guys.
Yeah, she's the one who put that other one back there.
And then I put this one.
You love the privacy, yeah.
And it goes in with the scenery.
So it's not like you even see it.
It's not like you pull up and like, oh my gosh
there's something wrapped around there.
It matches with everything.
Yeah, it just blends in really.
Yeah, it blends in really nice.
I love it.
And I think a squirrel already broke my one chain on there.
My mom just gave me that too.
Gosh.
The solar with the bird.
You know, something I want to show is that she can.
Are we good with that music playing?
Yeah, that'll be fine.
What I want to kind of show is that she can entertain.
This is a tiny home in a tiny house community
but she can entertain several people here.
And it is a flow.
We're talking, people can be over there.
You can be up here on the deck.
You can be on the lower deck and walk all the way around.
This is a nice seat right here too.
Very nice.
And that doubles as storage, I'm sure.
Yeah, you don't want to see in there right now.
Yeah, you don't want to look in there.
I love it.
But I make good frozen daiquiris, frozen margaritas.
Well, you shouldn't have said that.
Frozen margaritas.
Okay.
Noted.
I know, isn't that gorgeous?
Now I want to,
also something that I want to mention is,
you know, Tennessee weather, I'm from Tennessee.
I've been here my whole 29 years
that I've been on this planet, but,
oh sugar, there's my phone.
But one thing I want to say
is that we've had the longest spring that we have had.
And we have been super fortunate because, you know
we've had times where springs kind of got missed
and it got hot instantly.
It was chilly this morning.
It was cool this morning.
I went for a walk this morning.
It's been so super nice.
Tomorrow is going to be June 1st.
I can't believe it is not sweltering hot.
This honestly is probably,
both of you I'm sure has been to Hawaii.
I know Randy has, you've been there.
It has to be Hawaii weather feeling, isn't it?
Yeah, nice cool breeze.
It's just beautiful.
I mean, there's a breeze like right now.
It is so nice.
And I love that your lot,
you have mostly shade on your house where you need that.
And then you have enough sun over here too.
You got a little bit of it.
I mean.
Yeah, I have the perfect location.
And then you can hear the creek right here
when it's like really flowing and then you got the creek.
And it's seasonal, it's down now
but whenever it's raining and stuff, you know
it's got a good flow.
It was just the other day.
The other day it was full.
Yeah, because we had a bunch of rain and stuff.
Yeah.
Oh my gosh, so nice.
We got a lot of rain here.
We're not used to rain.
I know.
And usually, you know, we have rain
but we have had unusual amounts of rain.
So things have changed a lot
with the weather and everything.
Now, did you get to choose this lot
or how did you, how were you able
to get this particular lot?
No, I didn't get to choose it.
Okay.
This was like the last.
It was like the last of the last.
Okay.
Yeah.
But it's a nice surprise.
Yes, very nice.
So that, you know, that shows right there
because we've had several people that picked lots
that didn't pick lots for a certain reason.
And then when the people got on the lots,
they're like, well, wait a minute.
I didn't know it was going to look like that.
Yeah.
Well.
Every lot in here is gorgeous.
It's just what you make it into.
It's what you make it.
Yeah, exactly.
And you definitely can tell
what she's made it here on the outside.
We haven't even went inside the house yet.
No, I know.
What size is your home?
10 by 20.
ESP.
I love it.
And you would never know that is an ESP
which ESP, Randy, stands for.
Steel panel, door remnants.
Yeah.
That we build our own credit boxes out of.
Yeah.
And this is stuccoed on the outside.
It's got gutters, it's just wood.
Oh, I'm good.
I'm good.
Okay.
Yeah, yeah.
All right, well.
They can hear me.
Okay.
Yeah.
Well, we're going to go on inside.
Well, you just talked about that.
So that's the stucco.
And is this, what color is it?
Is it onyx?
Is it black?
Is it dark blue?
That's a gray.
Oh, it's a gray.
Okay.
Yeah, it's a gray color.
Yeah.
This is, I love.
They did a fantastic job.
They did.
Oh my God.
You put the wood trim on this, you would never know.
It's a panel, steel panel.
You would never know it.
Right.
A lot of people don't know that that's an engineered
steel panel.
No, there's no way you would know.
And too, is that a camera in the bulb?
Yeah.
That is neat.
I need to get one of those for my house.
I could show you on my phone afterwards.
I could show you how good of a.
Oh, I need that.
Yeah.
So you can watch it on your phone.
Oh, that's cool.
Look at this.
I could be anywhere.
Now, I heard this works.
Oh, it does.
I already got like six or seven of them in the other one.
Are you serious?
I heard that that does work.
Yeah.
And it's for carpenter bees.
And of course, carpenter bees love wood.
And that's one of the things that, you know,
it's like a little trick I saw on, I don't know,
YouTube or something like that,
but they said that does work.
It does work.
Do you put anything in the jar?
Nope.
Nothing.
It's just the jar.
Find an old crawl up in it, die.
I guess.
Well, okay.
Well, we're not going to crawl in a hole and die,
but we're going to walk through the door
and see her beautiful home.
So, all right.
Oh my gosh.
It looks like a spa in here.
Smell.
This is a 10 by 20.
That's all we got.
It's a 10 by 20.
This is amazing.
Oh my goodness.
Picture window.
I want a pedicure.
It's what it feels like.
You come in here, you come to a spa
and get a pedicure.
Nails done.
That's because of the candle.
Oh, it smells amazing.
That's Bath and Body Works eucalyptus.
Eucalyptus and spearmint?
No, yeah.
Yes.
Oh yeah, this one is, yeah.
Oh my goodness.
Oh, and I like how there's a spot for everything.
Yes.
This is gorgeous.
This is a fireplace.
Yeah.
How in the world?
It's so tiny.
That's so adorable.
So, did it come like this or did you add to this?
No, no, this came like this.
And actually, I got it from my daughter.
And then my daughter actually had a bigger one.
So, she brought that one to Tennessee too.
She moved to Tennessee,
but now she's going back to Arizona
because they're looking for other property.
They're just in the middle of selling their house.
Okay, okay.
Where did she go in Tennessee?
Was she close to here?
No ma'am.
Okay.
It's like three hours.
Really?
I don't know where it's at.
And then my other daughter's in Johnson City.
Really?
Okay.
Well, that's awful close.
She's moving back to Arizona.
Oh, she's moving to,
both of them's moving back to Arizona?
The other one, my other daughter who just sold her house
is gonna be looking for another place here in Tennessee.
She loves Tennessee.
But what happened was that when they purchased her house,
kind of like sight unseen because they were in Arizona,
they didn't realize there were six acres,
was a lot of not usable.
Oh, I see.
Because it was on a mountain and it was.
And there's just no real acreage.
Yeah.
So, they decided to sell.
What is it?
Yeah.
What do you do with it?
What is that?
She had me on it before.
What is it?
It's a, okay, just stand on there.
It's water.
It feels really good.
Ah, look at your little derriere.
Ah, everything, what does this do?
They can go like ski in and practice.
Oh my goodness.
So, it's good for your lymph nodes.
Oh, like for drainage.
Yeah.
If you got a chiropractor, they have some of these.
Yes, like the lymphatic system.
Kind of like when you do bouncing and stuff,
it's for your lymph nodes and get all the drainage and stuff.
Good Lord.
Isn't that something?
Yeah, that is something.
You're shaking.
Everything's shaking.
My ears are shaking and everything.
That's cool.
Wow, that is cool.
Geez.
I know it.
The things we learned, come and do it too.
Yeah, everybody have to do it.
Yeah, it goes different stuff, different speeds.
Oh, that's so cool.
It goes up and it goes really crazy.
Oh my goodness, that is cool.
Now, the chairs, Amanda, are amazing.
Yes, they can.
They look amazing.
Look at this.
Oh.
Right there is your controls.
Let's see which one.
Oh.
So, look.
No.
Kick back.
Oh my goodness.
We'll finish the tour without you.
How's that?
Yeah, it's like, you guys go ahead.
Yeah.
Oh.
Do you need a pedicure?
Yes, I do, absolutely.
This is stunning.
And listen, this thing is huge, all right?
I love it.
That's what surprises me.
Such a large, you know, fixture,
furniture, I mean, look.
And it's in a 10 by 20 tiny house.
This is awesome.
And this is actually a couch.
This is?
Yeah.
Look, we got a plug right there.
This comes up.
No way!
Wow.
Now it's a couch.
That's what you need for Saturday nights.
May I ask how much, I'm sure it was pricey,
but how much?
No, it wasn't.
It was like, I think $1,400.
That, really?
Yeah.
That's not bad.
From all the way from California.
No.
$1,400.
Yeah, I think it was like $1,450.
Look at this.
I love it.
And it's got, yeah, another charger
and all these chargers.
That is perfect.
Wow.
I mean, what more do you need?
Well, you can flip that up
for your Saturday night movie night.
Exactly, oh, wait a minute.
Yeah, it's that one that you push, it's automatic, yeah.
So then.
Yep, that one.
This fancy, for $1,400, this is not bad.
And this goes up too.
Yeah, the other switch behind you,
like further back,
it has like, I don't know if you can see it,
but that moves.
No.
So when you're laying back further.
You can watch the TV.
The TV in the back.
Isn't that cool?
Isn't it something?
Oh, now you need one.
It's called Four Seatings is the name of the company.
What, what is it again?
Four?
Four Seatings.
Four Seatings is the name of the company.
This is one of the things that I love the most,
and I'm sure that you guys love the most of the tours,
is that you get to see how everybody decorated their home.
But not only how did they decorate it,
where did she get that?
Where did that come from?
Was it passed down?
Was it something you bought?
What's the website?
Because everybody wants to know
how you decorate your 10 by 20.
This is just amazing.
And this is different,
because right here, Randy,
you can show where her fridge and everything is,
and has the drawer at the bottom,
and has a full-size fridge.
Well, she selected to move her fridge
to the end here instead of there.
We designed it to go there,
but she has a stand-up pantry,
and she put it out here.
Yeah, exactly.
Yeah.
Now, the last time that you were here,
I had to switch the pantries around,
because I had that new counter put in.
Okay.
Oh, let's look at the new counter.
This was over there.
Now, then I had to switch them.
Oh my goodness.
Then I wanted a longer counter out for her.
Now, what is this?
That's from Lowe's.
Really?
So it's laminate?
It's laminate.
It's beautiful, because it looks like marble.
Yeah.
Isn't that pretty?
Oh, it's gorgeous.
And look how, with the color of it,
with it being so light,
it just brightens everything up.
Having this wide, having this a light-colored wood.
And she's still got room for cabinets and stuff
if she wants to put up here.
Plenty of room.
All of her storage right here.
Here's her, now this is a big thing
everybody wants to know about this,
is the water heater.
And this is it at the end.
So if she did put the fridge,
that would have completely.
That's why we designed it for the fridge down here.
So she was able to put a trash can right here.
Still has a little pantry storage right here.
All of this for storage.
I like her handles, because we don't put handles,
but they're custom designed.
I just got them put in.
And I just had this made too, so this is.
That is so great.
Oh yeah.
Use of every space.
That stand there for your, what is that, a dry?
This is like a oven.
Air fryer.
Yeah, that's an air fryer, a regular oven.
Air fryer and bake, broil.
And then she has her microwave up here.
Oh, that looks great.
Do you find your kitchen is big enough
to do what you need?
Oh yeah, it's very big.
But I've just got to figure out what I want,
kind of cabinet I want over there in that corner.
Right.
I haven't decided that yet.
Yeah.
You know, just takes time.
Now, I don't know if you noticed this,
but I love that she did this.
I actually did this on the side of my old fridge
for the kids.
I did chalkboard paint on the side of my fridge
so they could just draw on it.
But that is perfect right here on her barn door
that she's put, just put the paint,
just paint that on there.
And then you have a chalkboard,
so you can make little notes
and you can see Mother's Day
that she's got the little notes.
How cute.
That is really cute.
I really love that.
And that one's, yeah, chalkboard too.
Oh, look.
See, there's just things you just would not even
think about doing until you get,
until you move in.
And you're like, what do I really want there?
You know, just like Randy always used to say,
don't have everything, everything to a T done.
Move in, feel the space,
then see what you're gonna, you know,
shop around and see what you're gonna do.
She has got the stuff in this bathroom so organized.
Here we go to the bathroom.
Yes.
Wow.
Oh yeah.
I go, wow, because of the closet, the space.
And I always wondered, okay,
because that, is it a washer, dryer?
Yeah, you got a washer, dryer hookup.
Oh my God.
Yep.
And she's used it for all closets.
And that's what we talked about the other day.
We were in a 10 by 20.
We were in that Dalton that didn't have this
with the stairs, remember?
And you were just talking about that.
So this is the 10 by 20 that does have the stairs
that goes upstairs.
And then she's still able to have
that much space for storage.
Yep.
What do you do about your laundry then?
You go to the laundry?
I go to mom.
Go to mom.
I go to mom's, I would too.
And I go to my mom's a little bit
because she's got my laundry.
There you go.
And we'll have to tour moms.
We'll have to show you.
Have you done Scotty's over there?
Yeah, we did.
We'll do it.
We'll do it again.
But this is great.
And this is her shower.
It's a 32 inch shower.
What's it like with the 32 inch?
We get a lot of questions about the 32 inch shower.
It's fine.
Yeah.
All I do is I get wet first.
I soap up.
Yep.
I turn off the water.
I soap up.
And then I turn the water back on.
Exactly.
That's what I would have to do too.
Exactly.
Same thing, you know?
It's just not, to me it's not a big deal.
Yeah.
It's not at all.
But some people, it's a deal breaker.
And that's okay.
Then you can get a 36 inch shower
and whatever model or whatever that you choose.
You crouch this area right here.
Four more inches really is too narrow for a kitchen.
To me, I'm like Deborah,
the sacrifice is minimal for that.
You know what I'm saying?
As long as I can get a bath,
as long as I can get a shower, I'll be fine.
Yeah, as long as I can get a shower, I'll be fine.
Think about it, you tell me 20,
you got that huge piece of furniture in here.
This beautiful kitchen, full-size fridge almost.
This is key.
Having this much,
these two things to me would be key right here
to have those.
And definitely that.
Yeah, I'd rather have my food than a shower.
Yeah.
Oh, you notice I didn't even have the input at,
I have the, what do you call this?
Oh yes.
Induction.
I would totally do the same thing.
So you took the cooktop out of your countertop.
Countertop.
And did the induction.
Just myself, I don't like it there fixtured all the time
because you're probably like me,
you like to have a little party every once in a while
and you want to put all your stuff out
and people come over.
I think it's a hindrance to me, you know,
with the knobs and all that kind of stuff.
So, so I like this deal.
Cool.
Yeah.
And we got one more room.
One more room.
And just, if you can look at it from here, Randy,
I mean, that's, that's pretty cool.
It's kind of got like a little bit of a privacy screen-ish
kind of little barrier.
Oh yeah.
Yeah.
I like that, like a little fence.
Yeah, isn't that cute?
There's so much in here.
Debra's just like me because I have stuffed animals.
I have stuff.
I have collectible things.
Things that mean something to me is what's in my house.
It's random with certain things, but I love them
and they seem to fit perfect when you do that.
Well, those ones, those two came from Scotland
when we were there last year.
And then the other one came from Australia,
the little koala.
The little koala.
Now you probably want to say something about Scotland.
What do you, your heritage and things like that.
Yeah, my mom was born, originally born and raised
in Scotland.
Yeah.
And she came over in 19-
And she talks it.
Yeah.
She talks it too.
She came over in 1953 from, from Scotland
on the Queen Mary.
That's amazing.
Yeah.
That is amazing.
Yeah.
She used to work for the Queen.
Did she really?
She was a housemaid.
Was she really?
Wow.
That's pretty cool.
Well, what was it like going to Australia?
Oh, that was really nice.
Was it nice?
Yeah.
Yeah, mom and I went and did a cruise.
Was that two weeks, three weeks?
How long was that?
I think we did a 10.
I think we did a 10 day cruise.
Which was really nice.
Wow.
And living in a tiny home that doesn't cost much
and the lot rents super cheap, you get to travel.
Yeah.
It makes a difference.
It really does make a difference.
So how big of a house did you have back in Arizona?
I had a 1800, no, maybe 1600 square foot.
Yeah.
That's the one I sold to buy the one in a condo in Thailand.
Yeah.
Really?
Yeah.
I sold it to buy it.
Now what made you get a condo in Thailand?
What's it like there?
I mean, you must love it.
Because it's a beautiful country.
Is it really?
Very, very cheap.
Your money goes a long way.
Really?
A long way.
Yeah.
So like my one bedroom condo that I got was like 70,000.
Really?
That's awesome.
Yeah.
So probably I'll-
You have to see pictures and stuff
because it's beautiful.
Pictures?
I thought I was gone.
Why are you going to?
I'm not staying in person, Debra.
All right, we're going to go upstairs
and we're going to get real intimate here.
We're going into her bedroom.
Well, I know, but-
Well, Randy goes well.
You want me to go first?
You go first.
Follow you?
You go first.
All right.
This, look how she has got it lined
going all the way up with the candles
and the battery candles and stuff.
That's super nice.
There's a window.
Look at the view.
She's going into the park area.
It is.
It's a beautiful view like that.
Yeah.
Storage, her bed.
What size bed?
A full size?
That's full size.
Full size.
And another egress over there.
Oh my gosh.
Look at this.
Wow.
And this to me is all you need.
You get up here and you get in the bed.
I'm going to lay down in her bed.
Well, I knew that.
Gosh, look at that.
Don't you-
I just got a little heat pad to put on there.
See right there?
She's got a little thing
that you put your knee right there.
I put my right knee up there
and then my left knee goes on my mattress.
Put your right knee.
Oh yeah.
Randy's done got in the bed.
Look at this.
Now watch, watch.
Now I'm a huge guy.
I'm like eight foot four.
Massive.
Oh, so big.
Look at the bedroom I got.
Oh yeah.
And this mattress is probably 20 inches thick.
You are dramatic.
I'm just saying.
Wow.
I love it.
Love it.
What a relaxing space.
It's the same temperature down there as up here.
Yeah.
She's got a little fan.
She's got a little fans.
Oh, see that fan?
That's a remote control right there.
This is fun.
Up here.
Oh.
Look at that.
Click, click, click.
Got her earplugs.
Relaxing oils.
And then look at all of her stuff here.
All organized.
She's got a drone.
She flies over and spies on me when I'm working over there.
Nobody wants to spy on you.
This right here would be a getaway.
You come up here.
This is when you're ready to relax.
Lay down, either get on your phone
or just sit there and read a book,
whatever you want to do.
Or go to sleep.
Wow.
Beautiful.
I love it.
Everything works out.
Yeah.
10 by 20, 200 square feet.
Yeah.
I love it.
Absolutely love it.
Do you love the stucco?
Are you glad you went with the stucco?
Yeah.
I can't.
I wish, you know how they say smell a vision?
I wish you could smell it in here.
It is exactly.
Smell a vision.
It is exactly like creating a spa in here.
Is it not?
It smells so relaxing and just so inviting.
We have one of these.
Gloria has one of these.
Two or three people we know.
What do you think of that and explain what that is?
The Berkey?
Yeah.
This is the Berkey right here.
Yeah.
So I just take all my water from my kitchen
and just pour it in on the top and then it drains
and then I fill it up and put it in my refrigerator.
Yep.
Every day.
Yeah.
Because I brought Randy's.
He's got the bigger one that we have up in the office.
We haven't started it yet,
but I've got one at my house that is this size.
And I've not started it yet, but I need to.
Beautiful.
I love it.
Thank you for this tour.
You're welcome.
Can you just show these really quick?
These are too cute.
I just saw that.
She has got so many little details that-
I know.
You have to just sit in here and look at everything.
Yeah.
And that clock up there.
I remember your mom showed me that clock.
Oh, yeah.
Too bad you're not here.
Well, you gotta wait 15 more minutes.
What is it?
It opens up.
Mine's a little bit more different from my mom's.
It opens up, it plays beautiful music,
and then it opens up and then it goes back.
No.
Where did you get those?
I got that at a clock store back in,
I don't know if it was California or Arizona.
Wow.
How beautiful is that?
My mamaw had a cuckoo clock back in the day,
and then of course, you know, on the hour,
it would come out, cuckoo, cuckoo, and then go back in.
That's beautiful.
That's something that people really don't have anymore,
and that's really nice.
That's a nice piece.
Yeah.
And I love it too.
Look here, Randy, you come in, you put your key somewhere.
That's what you were talking about.
Randy's big on where does everything go?
You gotta have a place for everything.
It was the same thing.
Randy and I had a motor home years ago,
and the thing about all of it,
you know, our kids didn't like it, you know.
What did they know?
Well, we loved it because,
one of them kids know, they don't know nothing,
but we loved it because everything went somewhere,
and that's before we even talked about tiny houses
or knew anything about tiny houses,
and it was fun.
We had a good time, and you know, you had your awning,
and you had a place to put your dishes,
and where were your keys, and had a shower,
I mean, everything was in a place.
That's why, and it wouldn't get cluttered,
it wouldn't get messy because the thing had its spot.
So we loved it, and it's very similar to the tiny homes.
You cannot clutter them up
because they will get cluttered very quickly.
It's just like a house.
It's the same thing as a house.
It'll get away from you quicker, though.
Right, exactly.
Yeah, but you have got everything beautifully placed,
and I just, I adore it.
Oh, Reed, come here, look at our bird.
Come here, right here, right there, right there.
Look, look.
Peck, peck, peck.
And when he pecks,
that's why I think somebody's at my door.
That's what you think, somebody's at the door.
Because, yeah, he pecks on there.
Peck, peck, peck.
Ha, ha, ha, he's pecking.
Oh, let me get the sound.
What's up, little fella?
Whoa, whoa, whoa, and he's out of here.
I mean, skyrocket.
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.
Well, I love it.
Look at these beautiful pictures she's got right here.
So now explain who these are.
This is your daughter.
That's my daughter.
That's my son-in-law.
Your son-in-law.
And that's in Colorado.
Oh, wow, love it.
Yeah, that's in Thailand.
That's at the elephant sanctuary.
That is beautiful.
So we're gonna have to go there, too.
I would love to go.
It's a lot of fun.
Well, and two, you know, one of the things,
because I saw your hat up there,
and I'd forgotten to mention,
is that Debra probably would got you
with all the traveling.
Was it your job?
Yep, American Airlines.
American Airlines.
And she retired from American Airlines.
Untelling.
Have you been everywhere?
Pretty much, pretty much.
Yeah, that takes the fear out of you.
I'm a very fearful person.
I'm scared of everything.
But I'm willing to try.
Now I'm at a, 29's kind of changed me, you know?
You're not scared of me.
That's different.
But yeah, 29, getting a little bit older,
has changed me to like, you know what?
I'm scared, but shoot.
You're gonna need to venture out.
That's right.
I've never been out of the country.
Never, so.
I do have a passport, though.
Well, good.
I'm ready.
Me and Debra, we're gonna make plans.
We're going somewhere.
Oh, that's good.
Well, thank you for-
We're going to Thailand for sure.
She's got her place up there.
We'll start with that.
There we go, so.
That's a good starting point for you.
Yeah, well, thank you for letting us come,
because I didn't get to come last time.
I think you and Amber came and toured and stuff,
but thanks for letting me come in.
This is awesome.
And this is the forest here at Incredible Tiny Homes.
Incredible Properties is like the official, you know,
title of the community and stuff,
but we are glad to have you.
Do you love the forest?
Oh, I absolutely love the forest.
Yeah, the forest is really,
I mean, it has instant landscaping.
It's one of the things that everybody's
so drawn to the forest.
And, you know, we're putting in,
which we're probably going to do a quick video.
We've got 40 more palm trees
that just came in over at the beach.
So we're going to make it into a beach.
You know, palm trees just don't grow in Tennessee.
So, but this beautiful landscaping here
in the forest is what everybody's so drawn to.
So this is, the forest is pretty much
an enchanted little place, so.
It is, yeah.
It's a perfect location.
I love it.
Well, we love that you're here.
Especially my birds.
Oh, exactly, for your birds, that's right.
Well, we love that you're here.
Thank you.
Aw.
Thank you.
Be sure, do you want to say anything?
No, I'm good, man.
You said it all, man.
I'm saying it all.
Like usual.
Well, be sure to like and share this video.
Show the tour.
Everybody loves the tours
and you get to see how Deborah lives here
and how she went from Arizona to here to Tennessee.
I mean, that's a big deal to me because, you know,
I mean, Gloria coming from Cal,
we had a lot of ladies coming from California
all the way to Tennessee by themselves.
I'm not saying that they're incapable
or anything like that,
but that would just be such a massive deal for me.
Ablown to move somewhere like that.
I mean, we're talking everything.
Think about your whole house, having to sell everything.
Big house, coming to a small house.
Big house, exactly.
And having to decide what and where
and where, how am I going to get around?
Am I going to like the place?
What's the weather?
There's a lot to it, so.
Yeah, thank you for-
Thank you for believing in us and coming here.
Her mom's here.
We're going to be-
Be patient with us.
Yeah, we're going to do a tour of her mom's house.
We'll schedule that with her.
Her name's Scottie.
I love her name, Scottie.
That's just the coolest name.
Scottie from Scotland.
Yeah, exactly.
Well, thank you so much.
Thank you for coming.
Yeah, good for you.
Thanks for taking the time.
All right, bye guys.
Bye.
We're good.
